I just needed to pick up a new cable box from this store. No one was in the store but one employee, watching a football game and he was too busy watching the game to help me. This is the rudest staff of any business in town.I took a router in to exchange that was no longer working and the staff member told me that comcast only takes care of the wallplate and cable from it to the router.The problem is that the comcast technician that ran the cable drilled all the way through the wall and left 5 feet of cable without a wall plate. The individual telling me that the cable was my problem needs his butt ran off and has no business dealing with the public. Maybe cleaning toilets would be a better place for his rude and wrong bs. read more

Easy access from I-10 in Baytown - Friendly, fun and knowledgeable staff - Good prices - Flexible installation appointment times My installation guy Jerry (employee 3115) was great. The appointment time was 8-10 am and he arrived about 8:20. He was fast, professional and knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions and he was able to answer them all without pause. After installing the outside cables he put fabric protectors over his boots before walking on my carpet. I have no complaints whatsoever. I will edit this review if any problems arise that they can't handle. read more

This is the worst cable and Wi-Fi service I've ever had. I've had them for over 2 years. I've changed boxes 3 times they've been out 5 times. Yet they can't make the appts when they're made for the times I'm available. I recommend anyone but Comcast. I give them a negative 5 stars because they truly genuinely suck! read more

We've been having issues with Comcast for a while. Our internet has been slow for at least 2 years and we've had them for maybe 4 years. It was not until our internet literally would stop working for hours that we finally decided to do something about the issue. We realized we had been renting our modem all this time for $10 a month and this was not our fault AT ALL. We decided to go to the xfinity store and buy our OWN modem which was not cheap. After switching out our modem, the internet was STILL SLOW. But since it was at least working we just left it alone. However, I came back from a trip and felt like the internet was EVEN SLOWER if that's possible. We're supposed to be getting speeds of up to 105 mbps, instead our download speed is around 2.5 mbps and upload speed around 12 mbps. No matter how the two speeds are factored into total speed, it is safe to say that the speeds we have are not even half of what we should be getting. So I called up customer support which is of course outsourced. They obviously cannot fix anything, but they checked what they could from their location and everything was somewhat fine, but because my speed is definitely a problem we scheduled a technician to come out. THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY INCOMPETENT. He came in, did the speed test, but didn't know how to troubleshoot. He literally needed to call someone up to figure out what needs to be done. The person he called was from this service center. They decided that my modem was "too outdated" despite it being purchased maybe 2 months ago. I'm sorry that your modems are apparently so shitty that they are obsolete after 2 months of use. Basically the person on the phone was saying that our internet wasn't working because we weren't renting a modem. When we refused to rent the modem, the technician decided his work was done and literally left without doing ANYTHING. Actually his supervisor who had called from the service center called and at that point he literally left. Then when we told the supervisor that we didn't want to rent the modem and that we may need to switch to another service she was done and hung up. Basically they want to take your money without providing any service. How can they leave without even CONFIRMING it was the modems fault. I'm pretty sure we had some miscommunication going on too because he said he couldn't test the modem without changing codes to reflect that we're renting a modem. I'm sorry, but that's bullshit. Literally the most incompetent person I've dealt with in a while. I called comcast customer service and they set up another appointment for another day and the next technician was much better which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because of him even though I can't be sure if the technician was from the location I am reviewing. He actually did troubleshooting, checked the wires and things outside of the house, and didn't try to force us to make any decisions. read more
