Two of my boys ordered the garlic chicken, which was much more tender. It wasn't especially garlicky or spicy. My husband ordered the General Tso's chicken, and his chicken also appeared considerably more tender than mine. Both of my girls ordered sweet-and-sour chicken and seemed satisfied with their meals. I chose 2 egg rolls instead of soup. They tasted okay. Others in our party ordered the hot-and-sour soup, which I tried. I wasn't a huge fan, but I've also never had it before, so it may simply not be something I personally enjoy rather than an issue with how it was prepared. My fried rice just tasted off, nothing I can pinpoint. Overall, Jade Garden was a fairly average American-style Chinese restaurant. The interior was clean and trendy, our order was accurate, and several members of our family thought their meals were satisfactory.
