We have a large population out here in Southern California but if this was located out here, it would be at the top of my list. We were in the area for a concert at the Hard Rock and found this Vietnamese restaurant just a few minutes from the venue. Parking was conveniently located right next to the building. The restaurant has an indoor dining area as well as an outdoor section with large windows they can open, giving it an open-air feel when the weather is nice. Since we visited in November, it was far too cold to sit outside. Now for the food: I ordered the bánh hỏi with grilled beef, and my wife had the grilled pork with rice. I also tried the summer rolls. Honestly, the summer rolls could have been better--they were something I could easily make at home. They were missing mint and the purple herbs typically included. My bánh hỏi was served with basil instead of mint, which didn't match the dish. Perhaps they had run out at the time. I also would have liked more pickled daikon and carrots. The grilled beef itself was cooked well and tasted good. I can't speak for the rice dish, but my wife said it was fine, though the egg quiche had too much egg. Coming to Atlantic City, there's many food options at the casinos but let's promote the local mom and pop outside and near the area! My husband and I came for a concert at Hard Rock and we want to eat before going to Hard Rock. We love Vietnamese food so it didn't take much convincing to give this spot a try when yelp reviews tells us it's nearby. Upon entry, we are greeted and seated with menus. I had ordered the grilled pork and quiche with broken white rice and hubby ordered the grilled banana leave wrapped beef with vermicelli noodles and rice paper wrap. Food was good and tasty. Drove past this restaurant on my way to Dock's Oyster House (another great choice if you like seafood or lamb chops), and the restaurant looked very nice. I've always loved Vietnamese food, especially pho and I love trying restaurants outside of the casinos. So my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised when we entered and received some of the best food! The spring rolls are a MUST get, definitely 10/10! Although fried, they were stuffed with the shrimp/pork filling. The phos were also delicious, they included a lot of meat too. The broth was a bit more fragrant than I'm used to but it wasn't a bad thing. I tasted stronger notes of star anise or whatever spices they add. Decided to return to try other dishes while we're still in Atlantic City. Ordered their Summer Rolls with Shrimp, Fish Sizzling in Hot Pot, and Ninh Kieu Chicken with Rice. The Fish was exceptionally good, better than what I had when I was visiting Vietnam and dining in a popular restaurant in Da Nang. The amount of fish was also very generous. The chicken they served was a free range chicken with good taste and texture. Summer rolls were fresh and full of shrimps. The pho is always a good choice and the pork chop with the crabby patty is a good choice. They give a good portion size. We came with a group, 8 girls total. The bills were separate but they added a gratuity, which is understandable. The staff didn't seem annoyed with loud girls on a girls trip. We ordered summer rolls, pho, pork chops, and bahn mi to go. All of the food we had at the restaurant was fresh and yummy. The bahn mi's to go were lacking in size. Found this Vietnamese restaurant on Google. What a lovely surprise! Location/Parking: It is located on a main road in Atlantic City, NJ. It is about 5 mins drive from the AC Outlet Mall. It has its own parking lot with ample parking spot on the side on this restaurant. The entrance for their parking lot is on the side street which also happens to be a one way only which is a little tricky to find. If their lot is full, there is plenty of metered parking on the street which is inexpensive. You can also walk here if you have your car parked at any of the broadwalk casinos (5 mins plus depending on location). Cleanliness: This restaurant is very clean. As we were waiting for food, I saw that the employees were constantly cleaning and refilling the items on the tables. Their female restroom was keep really clean as well. The restroom had inspirational signs on it's wall. I found that add a nice touch to the ambiance. Food & Seating: We arrived around 5pm on a weekday. There was no wait for seating. The restaurant is quite spacious and you can smell a hit of the food that is being prepared which brings a sense of excitement. Their menu is quite extensive (like 6 pages +). We ordered the Beef Brisket Pho Noodle soup without vegetables and Grilled Pork & Fried Pork Egg Roll Vermicelli (Rice) Noodles (served cold) plus two drinks. The two drinks were watermelon slushee and rainbow ice. The Pho noodle soup was flavorful with depth and you can taste the different spices used to make broth. It was so authentic. The owner shared that they make their soup with real beef bones and it is stewed on the stove over 8 hours. The GP & FPER vermicelli was very fresh. The grilled pork had a nice char w/ a mouth savoring flavor and the pork egg rolls were served hot and crunchy filled with pork, carrots, shiitake mushrooms filling. The Pho noodle soup came within 10 mins of ordering and the Grilled Pork Vermicelli came after 15 mins. The rainbow ice drink contains coconut jelly, sweeten red beans, smashed green beans, milk & crushed ice. It was authentic tasting and the perfect sweetness (not overly sweetened. The watermelon slushee is not recommended as it is most likely made from powder and does not taste like fresh watermelon. Pricing & Service: Their pricing is affordable due the portion given in their entrees. It's about a portion and half. So it's totally worth it. They also offer a pay by cash discount of 4% which was superb (see photos). Service was friendly and quick. 1st time eating here, the whole family liked their dishes. Bun Bo Hue was very good. Kids enjoyed their pho, our youngest enjoyed her pork with rice. Servers were very attentive. We street parked but they do have a small lot right beside, we know for next time. They didn't over sweeten their coffee so that was a nice pick me up. Never have I ever expected such an amazing Vietnamese restaurant in Atlantic City. They are located right near the boardwalk but they also have a parking lot which was super nice. The waiter seemed a little confused when we tried to order food. We wanted ca ri ga (Vietnamese curry) and we were told they did have it. He later came back and said they actually had none. So my boyfriend and I split a Goi Cuon which was great. I ended up getting a broken rice with grilled beef. It was very delicious. They gave a good amount of grilled beef with this dish. I love this place. Great food and service. My favorites are the shrimp summer rolls, Vietnamese pork spring roll over vermicelli with grilled pork, the pho soup with shrimp and rare beef. I have dined here for many years and it has always been great. They have done a major renovation to the restaurant recently, adding a brand new parking lot that is well paved and lit, also they removed the side of the building and added a outdoor patio and indoor glass enclosed patio area as well as big windows that add a lot of light to the place, all new furniture, bathrooms and kitchen. I'm here visiting my bestie from California. My friend took me out for the weekend to AC. We have been eating great food from hotels but I told her I needed some authentic pho broth or any authentic asian food broth for my hangover lol she brought me here and told me this place gets packed on certain days and nights so I'm like ok good that's a great sign. First off, I love that their meatballs don't have tendons it's usually basic that all the meatballs has tendons. Broth was amazing so good for the soul, especially being cold outside. With a name that is hard to say I had to assume that the Vietnamese food here would be very good. Upon coming up came into the restaurant metal gentleman who I assumed is the owner and he sat down. Order the food came out quick and I got to say that the pho tasted amazing and more importantly the broken rice plate was very good as well. Vietnamese couple with a honest review here. The Pho Ga is not authentic at all. The chicken meat is super dry, and not very tasty. I couldn't believe chicken meat in soup could possibly be super dry but they found a way. It was totally disappointing. Also to watch out, they automatically add 15% tip on every bill, so if you are not careful you will "accidentally " tip an extra 18%, 20%, or 22% more if they don't review your bill carefully. Vietnamese food at its finest. This is a small mom-and-pop shop, family-owned for sure. We were recommended by locals to try this Vietnamese restaurant and we ordered a variety of items like beef stew, quail, clay pot catfish, Vietnamese sour soup with catfish, sugarcane shrimp, and grilled beef in betel leaf. We also go for their drinks, passionfruit tea, Thai tea, taro smoothie, and guava smoothie which everyone loved. The food came out not too long after we ordered the food. The beef stew was decent with the flavor and the potion size. The quail was one of my favorites. It had amazing flavor and fried nicely. The claypot catfish had a good flavor which went really well with white rice. The Vietnamese sour soup with catfish has a sour flavor to it. If not used to, some people may not like it. However, the soup was good. The sugar cane shrimp and grilled beef in betel leaf was another favorite of mine because you could turn it into a salad roll. They provided herbs, some rice noodles, rice paper and sauces to make your own salad rolls. There is parking next to the restaurant on gravel which is nice otherwise it would be street parking. The pho is probably the best in NJ and I have tried many pho places. The broth is clean and tasty and comes out piping hot, which is the way I like it. The spring rolls are also very good. My kids loved the grilled pork. Be prepared to wait if you go during peak times. This place is small but they have a quick turn over of tables. And the wait is worth it. They charge a 15% service fee for dining in. So adjust tipping accordingly. read more

A bit of a pho snob but wherever I go, I will always find a local pho joint. This joint was near Atlantic City. Neighborhood is sketchy at best. Felt unsafe going there with elders and children but boy was it a great find! The pho was spot on, probably top 5 I've had worldwide. If you come in the evenings and want to explore other parts of the menu, I suggest the hot pot with fish option (only pictures, not in menu). We used to come here all the time when we went to Atlantic City but the food at our latest visit was not so great. I'll start off with saying the service is fine and I had no issues except that the Pho noodles came within 5 min of ordering but the Summer Rolls (an appetizer) came like 5-10 min (after we asked about it). Other than that, the service itself was a 4.5 star. They did check on us and were available when we needed things and it was decent for quick bite of asian food. The food used to be pretty good but it seems maybe they changed owners or chefs/recipes. The Beef Pho soup was not as flavorful and was kind of bland. The brisket in the soup was tough with a big chunk of fat. The summer rolls were so skinny and uneven... it seems they cheapened out on ingredients. It used to be a larger size. The chicken Pho soup was very oily. We did like that they could substitute with different noodle options, as my dad wanted egg noodles with the beef pho. The cubed beef over rice had very little beef and mostly red peppers with it (there used to be more green peppers and onions with it) Porkchop over rice was probably the only thing that was pretty good. Also, I know there was a sriracha shortage but the sriracha bottles was noticably watered down! You could tell it was liquidy so we didn't even want to use it. It's one the highly rated restaurant in the area, but outside of outlet malls takes about 2-3 to drive from Caesar's. They have their own parking lot for customers. The restaurant is relatively small, feels really cramped when it's full. Gets super busy in the weekends lunch hours. They have a decent menu, but unfortunately none of the chef special dishes were available. My fried chicken with broken rice was okay, chicken was deep fried too much, broken rice was just plain white rice. The thai iced was also average, tasted really sweet. But their service was good, food was prepared within a short time.
