I came down here to get fingerprinted for a job. It was easy and painless. However, the parking is terrible -- no fault of their own, it's downtown. But there has been so much construction around and coupled with one way streets everywhere, it's hard to park and get to the building. The building has a very open concept but still fairly difficult to navigate. The people are fine -- not friendly but not rude -- they just do their jobs. If I have to get fingerprinted, I'd try to find a place more accessible.

The wait was great for as busy as they were. The cranberry mayo was a great addition to the sandwich tangy and refreshing. They have plenty of salads as well but I opted for the Curry Cauliflower. As histories go, that of columbus is actually really really interesting. I love history and all,…read morebut i'm nowhere near a history buff. I, however, can really appreciate when a historical society is not just showing specific people. I have trouble with specific people, and don't do well with names. I understand the importance of remembering who did what, but I like being provided with things that can turn tides, like epidemics and when the first national road found its way to columbus. The columbus history society actually provides things like that, and doesn't feel like it does as much minute detail stuff as most of the other city historical societies. Maybe taht's just me, though.

Spent most of my time on the Frankenstein slots ("more power!"), which have apparently become my emotional support machine. Between that and my horse absolutely crushing it at the track, I was starting to wonder if I should quit my day job and become a full-time racing and slots analyst. A special shoutout to Rosie at the High Limit Bar, because I refuse to play low limit machines. Rosie provided truly exceptional, phenomenal service all night and made an already great experience even better. The casino is clean, the atmosphere is fun, and there's always something going on. My wife and son had such a great time that we'll definitely be back for his 24th birthday on July 30th. Five stars. Frankenstein was spinning ("more power!"), the horse was winning, Rosie was delivering elite service, and for one glorious evening I felt smarter than the casino.
