She worked with us to choose the right countertop for our needs. She provided us with a detailed view of the measurements of our countertops, and bid a price that was fair. They have a great variety of stone in the showroom. The samples are larger than a small square to go by in making your decision. Seeing a sample of the larger slab helped to visualize our desired product. Connie always attended to our needs and she was one of the reasons we decided to go with Rock Top Surfaces. Our end result are countertops that are beautiful and stunning. I would recommend this company to anyone that is in the market for countertops.

How she loves it and said it's very durable. I asked Connie how often slabs break she said only 1 Granite slab has broken. We purchased 2 Super white slabs from MSI a Vendor they referred us too. Both slabs broke. The first attempt at installing the 1st slab had a 2 foot fissure to the right of the sink. The installer said it's broken and can't install any part of it. Rock tops replaced 1st slab at no cost to us. They came out again for the 2nd install and when the 2nd slab was installed. It broke at installation. This time a 4 foot break all the way in a diagonal line above the cooktop. Right at eye level which is so disappointing because it's front and center and the main focal point of kitchen. When the Manager came out after the installation to see the 2nd break. Confirmed it was broke by running a credit card over it proving it was not smooth. Took a picture said he was going to talk to installers The manager then said it's basically Sandstone. He said this stuff gets fissures/breaks all the time. This is very normal. Complete opposite to what Connie said. Then tried to shift that the 2 mil it's not as durable. I said well you shouldn't sell it if you feel this way. They moved the seam with the counter top where the first slab broke by the sink. Where they ended up putting the seam and how it looks is VISUALLY unappealing. Some of the seams are extremely chipped and jagged. They did send a team to fix and although it's smooth to touch it's chipped all the way from front to back of the countertop and looks unprofessional.Above the cooktop it's now smooth but the finish is gone and have swirl makes from grinding it smooth. The break is not fixable. We have new fissures on the countertop and the caulking behind the sink is coming out. This is worrisome because it's behind the sink and gets wet so it will turn to black mold. So do yourself a favor and go with a company that does what they say and stands behind their work. Not a company that has you sign they are Not liable if any damages occur before or after. Currently in legal advice.

I paid Davenport Foundation Repair $6,762.99 for concrete stabilization and a 1,183-square-foot…read more"Concrete Protection System: 2-Part." Unfortunately, I continue to have significant unresolved concerns about whether all of the work I purchased was completed. The proposal separately described targeted PolyLEVEL stabilization and a 1,183-square-foot 2-Part system that included PolyLEVEL under the concrete slabs and NexusPro joint sealant. Before I purchased the project, the salesperson explained that the targeted PolyLEVEL work would involve injections through the concrete slabs and pool capstones for stabilization. He separately explained that the 2-Part system would involve additional PolyLEVEL injections beneath the concrete throughout the treated area, followed by NexusPro joint sealing. The extent of these additional injections was presented as an important component of the system and part of the justification for its cost. I was present during the PolyLEVEL installation and did not observe the additional injections being performed in the manner the 2-Part system had been described to me. When I later raised this concern, I was told that the injections had been performed. I subsequently inspected one control-joint location where the NexusPro application was already incomplete and did not find an injection opening or visible PolyLEVEL foam there. I therefore asked Davenport to provide installation records identifying where the PolyLEVEL associated with the 1,183-square-foot system was actually installed. I have not received that documentation. There were additional incomplete areas. Some PolyLEVEL work did not provide the coverage that had been represented. Planned injections around the pool capstones could not be completed, and the salesperson later acknowledged that omission and offered approximately $220 back for that specific work. That refund has still not been issued. I also found that no PolyLEVEL injections had been performed in the area extending toward the basement stairs, despite that area being shown within the project drawing. There was also a separate, clearly visible problem with the NexusPro installation. Portions of the control joints were left untreated because storage chests and unattached cinder blocks were sitting over them. I specifically asked Davenport the day before the work whether I needed to move anything and was told that I did not. After later moving the objects, I found that the joint sections underneath had not been sealed. Davenport subsequently acknowledged that these sections had been left untreated. I sent Davenport detailed written notices asking for the installation records, clarification of which PolyLEVEL work was performed under each part of the contract, a financial adjustment for incomplete PolyLEVEL work, the previously offered capstone refund, and completion of the unfinished NexusPro. Update 10/06/26: After multiple attempts to resolve this directly, including email correspondence and a certified-mail letter, I have not received a substantive response addressing the remaining issues or providing a timeframe for completion of the acknowledged unfinished NexusPro work. I would still prefer to resolve this directly, but at this point I am proceeding with the remedies available to me. I will update this review if Davenport responds and resolves the matter.

In 2020 we had facia and soffit replaced by another company which resulted in need for repair/patching of the roof. IWC evaluated the impact of the new soffit and facia on the integrity of the roof and patched the roof at a fair price, cleaned up and did the job quickly and professionally. In fall of 2021 a resident advised us of a leak in their apartment after a hard rain. I called Braden with IWC, he answered the call even though he was on vacation! He coordinated having a repairman check out the leak the next day. The second repair (see attached picture) They told me the repair was part of the warranty and there would be no charge. They took pictures and explained the reason for they leak and the repair. IWC's customer service and quality of work is excellent. Nice showroom and seemingly nice guys. But that is where things stop. I was a contractor in Arizona…read morefor 24 years. Deposits were required, but usually around 30%. I was a little surprised that they require payment in full before the order is placed. Now I know why. They do not have their own install crews. They sub everything out and stand behind absolutely NOTHING! The LVT crew they hired got started and reached a point where they didn't know how to finish. The installer said he had to go to another job and would be back to finish in a few days. He demanded to be paid for the extras before he left. I called Knotty Alder and they said any extras must be paid. I told they weren't done yet and he hadn't finished the "extras" anyhow. Well, I paid him and the installer never came back. The company sent out a different guy who said they screwed everything up and the guy was a tile installer who had never done LVT before. Right after placing the order, we decided not to carpet an area in the basement. I called John and he said there were no refunds after the order was placed. I said I understand about the carpet, but the installer supplies the pad and they will not be doing the labor. He said we would have to see. They kept the extra padding and no refund on the labor, even after being charged several hundred for the LVT "extras" that were never even done (I ended up removing and installing the toilets myself even though I paid for that. John said it states in the contract that they don't do toilets. But the installer was fine to do it, but he took the money and never returned). After you pay them, they have you do all the calling and scheduling with the installer even though you have no contract with them. The installers drag out fixing the problems for months at a time and when they do come out, they normally say they don't have the materials or tools needed, or they need to get something through Knotty Alder. Knotty Alder will charge you for anything it takes to finish the job, even if it was supposed to be included and already paid for, When we couldn't get the installers back I texted pictures to John and asked if he could get someone out to finish. He would just ask for more pictures. After a year of this he told my wife "sorry, the warranty period has expired." So it appears that the strategy is to charge in full before placing an order, don't take any responsibility for their subs (they were not my subs), let the subs take advantage of their clients, do shoddy work, charge for extras they don't do, tell you to schedule everyone on your own and then after you can't get things resolved they say "too bad, your year is up!" We are still trying to get the installers to finish things and we have offered to pay them. Same results as before, wrong tool or don't have this or that... In some ways I think Knotty Alder has thrown the installers under the bus. We bought the very best LVT flooring they carry. Not only were there install issues, but the edges are delaminating and turning up. Knotty Alder has there money and they wash their hands of EVERYTHING. The installer didn't purchase the material, so it appears they have no leverage or support from the manufacturer. So we are stuck in the middle with no help or support from the only people we had a contract with and they take NO responsibility after the payment in full is made. In the end, I realize they have a nice showroom, but they are not the "nice guys" I thought. The way they have treated us is totally disgraceful and unethical. I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE based on our experience.
