They were…read morelocated a few miles out and in the opposite direction from home but it was early and we had some time on our hands. It was a quick drive off rt 30 to route 15 and immediately off the exit. The outlets were constructed in a way that's very different from other retail shopping mails. The outlet was set up like a city street with retails shops on either side with single pull in parking on both sides. There was one way in and to exit you could either turn around or drive behind the buildings where there was more parking and circle your way out. We did have a bit of confusion leaving. Regardless it was easy to park right in front of the store you want to shop at. We visited several stores within the complex. Hubby went to the food court to get some coffee but found it closed. Apparently overnight there were multiple robberies at the stores and the authorities were using the food court as a command center while they investigated. Despite this situation the stores seemed unaffected and were operational. While I don't shop retail too often the layout, selection of retailers, and easy drive would result in me coming here again.

We have been shopping at these outlets for decades. Many of the shops have turned over, leaving…read moreempty storefronts. However, some new stores have moved in, like Generations of Furniture. They also still have Old Navy, Chicos, Talbots, Pepperidge Farms, Under Armor, Christmas Tree Hill, Gertrude Chocolates, and others. While this shopping center isn't as robust as it once was, it's still fun to walk around and look for bargains.

Then Label Shopper buys the merchandise and tries to sell it at a slightly discounted price off retail. But the prices and deals are not that good if you know what you are looking at. Remember when Aeropostale had a sale and sold past seasons sweats for $10? Well it looks like Label Shopper bought them all and is now selling them for $14.99-$24.99. So yeah not really a deal there. Their sizes range in all sizes but very select. Example- a lot of the previously mentioned sweats were size XS. So if you aren't that size then your not getting that brand. You are actually better off shopping at Boscov's if you want a good deal/sale. I am giving them 3 stars though because if you would happen to be looking for something specific they may have it and you may get lucky.

There were 2 employees feverishly moving items on to a sale rack. It was 1:30 and there were no other customers in the store. I walked in and neither acknowledged I had even entered the store. I spent maybe 5-10 minutes looking for the items and went to where the 2 employees were moving items from one rack to the other. It was only when I was 4 feet from one of the employees that they acknowledged my presence. I asked for help regarding finding similar items to those online and she said no they don't carry size tall. When I told her tall wasn't necessary she pointed to a pair on the sale rack said others were on a table in the front. That was it. No, how can I help? No, let me see if there is something else that could work. No showing me the table she referred to. I just left and won't be back. Since I still need pants, I'll find somewhere else to spend my money.

However, with an upcoming trip home to see family/friends I hadn't seen for a while I decided to give it a try. I was fully prepared to walk out of there, and half expected that I would need to, since my 2 year old tends to get wiggly in stores. Which of course she did. No surprise. She got extremely wiggly which made it incredibly stressful for me. Luckily, Amanda C. stepped in and was beyond helpful. She helped me find items quickly and even used my phone to check if items were better to buy in store or for pick up in store. Without her I would have left with nothing. Which, as my fellow moms of toddlers know, is usually the case....it's always all about the baby. But not this time!!! What i specifically came for was reading glasses which were present immediately on the right upon entrance. They had a decent assortment as well as blue block reading glasses which were 2 for $19.99 whereas the non blue blocker readers were 3 for $19.99. I was disappointed that you couod no longer try on a pair but rather had to utilize a reading chart which was suboptimal. Anyway, I did not come with a shopping list, thus purchasd significantly more of everything than I absolutely needed. Im impressed by the variety of things for sale there including a pharmacy for prescription medications as well as an optician. Im not sure if there was a rhyme or reason to their displays since I saw floor mats immediately adjacent to envelopes, although perhaps i was visiting their miscellaneous aile. $390 or so dollars later, I packed up my vehicle and returned home. I wish that there was a Sam's Club in my town of Gettysburg which does have an old Walmart which is in the process of a refresh. Anyway, a more than decent experience today save for the crowded ailes!

While I wouldn't consider myself to be a true plus size gal I admit I have some problem areas…read more Because I am thick in the middle and small everywhere else it's often hard to find clothing that fit well. I've never been to Torrid but knew they catered to a curvier woman. I figured it was worth a shot to see if plus fit my odd frame better than misses. I was surprised to learn that their sizes start at a size 10 - known here as a 00. While I know nothing about plus sizes I don't believe this is the norm so if shopping here inquire about their sizing or you'll be confused. I was pleasantly surprised by all the styles and trends. I didn't see anything frumpy. If I didn't know that this was a plus size store I wouldn't have know based on styles alone. I liked 80% of what they sold. Aside from trendy clothing they sold accessories, jewelry, shoes, and intimates. What I didn't like were their prices. While I'm the first to admit I don't pay retail, the prices here were much higher than even the average store. Jeans on average were $60 with some as high as $98. However they did have some clearance racks and a buy one get two free clearance offer that made it worth checking it out. Additionally they were having a buy one get one half off jean sale. After trying on a few jean styles I will say this brand understands how to fit a bigger body. I ended up splurging and buying two pairs of their jeans. The fit was phenomenal with about 2 inches of extra fabric at the mid rise to tuck in and smooth the belly bulge. The stretch of the denim allowed for extra allowance at the hips and a longer rise meant no camel toe. These small differences made a word of different in the look and fit. Every thick or curvy female should treat themselves to at least one pair of their jeans. Just by putting them on visually I lost about 10 pounds. They made a believer out of me! While I loved many of their shoes styles the smallest size I saw was a 9 with most being larger sizes going up to a 13. A quick search on Retail Me Not provided a few discount codes for online purchases. Unfortunately their registers only accept bar code discounts and not codes. The cashier was gracious enough to give me a discount that exceeded the bogo 50% offer so it does pay to ask! She also signed me up for emailed discounts. The staff went above and beyond in the customer service they provided. Moral of story: if you have problems finding nice fitting jeans, are thick and curvy, or even just a few pounds overweight don't discount this store. The fit is worth is the price!
