The true nature of a company is proven with how they handle it when things go wrong.TLDR: They snapped my cable (Cost: $100), broke my porch light (Cost: $200), broke my fence, then completely destroyed it (Cost: $1000), then left two huge piles of diseased mulch that I later found out absolutely needed to be removed so as not to disease my whole yard (Cost: priceless as now I can't grow a huge variety of trees for years). The whole story: They had a competitive bid and seemed to know their stuff. I hired them to remove two large diseased trees while I was out of town. When I came home, my internet cable/fiber had been snapped, my back porch light was no longer working, a box that had been on the same wall was in pieces on the floor, branches everywhere, and my fence was bent up and in bad shape, as if they had dragged everything over it, destroying the lattice work. They immediately denied their involvement in the cable and claimed to have "walked the job" to insure nothing had happened. Later they got back to me admitting they did cause these things and said "You cant make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. This is a hard job!". Well, I was not pleased but I accepted it, not wanting a fight. When they came back to grind my stumps, they took apart my fence completely, and just left it hanging in pieces. I asked them to fix it, and they said "its really hard to fix that once its apart". That would have been nice to know before you took it apart! There was no communication that taking apart the fence was an irreversible thing. Each time the effort to fix things was minimal: They claimed to go to Comcast, but when I went myself, they had no record of that; They came back to "fix" the fence, and badly strapped it together with bright green cord, leaving it looking like shit and the door unable to close, so effectively still broken. Later I found out the the huge piles of mulch they left in my yard, claiming "great soil later", which they never even offered to add removal to the bid, should never be left piled because it can infect other trees, and should have absolutely been removed for the health of my yard. I went back and forth deciding if I should write about my experience with this company or not. I own a small home improvement business myself so I dont want Karma biting me in the butt, but in the end, homeowners should to be aware of my experience and interaction with this company or individual. First, this company was recently purchased by Kelly from the previous owner Brandon. Brandon did work for me 3 years ago and did a fantastic job. He spent 3 days with a crew of 4 people cutting, pruning and maintaining our 1/2 acre lot. I was very happy with his work. We have many trees and bush's that were not touched when I purchased the home, so Brandon did an amazing job 3 years ago doing that for us. Fast forward 3 years..... I call them back only to find out Brandon lives in Iceland now, and Kelly bought the company from him. So I hired Kelly and paid him $2020 to cut 7 trees, shape several bush's and put EAB treatment in my Ash tree for the Ash beetle problem Colorado has. Seemed high but i was willing to pay it due to the quality of work Brandon did for us years back. When it was time for Kelly to do the work, he showed up to my house with 2 other guys for 4 hours. When I came home at 2pm, my wife told me they had already left and didn't say a word. I took a few photos and posted 4 of them on here to show their work. Would anyone accept this as a professional job? Well, Kelly obviously does. When he called me back to get paid and talk about my issues, he immediately got defensive and became extremely rude and unprofessional. He refused to come back out and make it right. When I asked him to finish a couple bush's and this tree I took a picture of, he said no. My final response to him was asking for an apology for the way he was speaking with me, and to come out and make it right. His final response to me was "No, you got an acceptable job and you are lucky I didn't charge you more for our services." He also said my Ash tree trunk was already like that before he showed up which is a massive lie. This individual is extremely entitled and has a false sense of his Arborist skills when I compare his work to the previous owners work or when I compare any work I've paid for vs the service Kelly provided. If you want an extremely rude, entitled, Arborist who rushes his work so he can get to the next job, then this company is perfect for you. If you want quality work, with someone who is respectful and does a professional job, I wouldn't call this company at all. I cant speak for others, im just speaking from my own experiences with Kelly and his company. I paid Kelly his $2020 to get him out of my life. I hope this post saves homeowners a lot of grief and money by not having to deal with this individual. read more

I hate to post a review like this, but I don't want anyone else to have the same experience we did. We had this company plant 12 large trees in May 2019. They offered a one year warranty for any trees that died. By July 2019 five of the Austrian Pines they planted were dead and I asked if they would remove the dead trees for us and replace them per their warranty. It took months of multiple phone calls and emails to even get a response and they first said they would replace them in October, then said the nursery was "out of trees" so it would have to be March. As of today, after 10 months of repeatedly calling and emailing to ask them to honor their warranty, I've only received 2 emails that say "they are working on it and didn't have the money to replace anything" so no trees were ever replanted and they wouldn't even come remove the dead trees for us. My little girls, myself and my husband ended up having to remove 5 dead 15 foot trees from our yard with a shovel and wheelbarrow and we paid to replace the dead trees ourselves. We had two other tree specialists look at the trees before we removed them and both said they were not planted properly with mounds and drowned from the sprinklers that Brandon said would be perfect for watering them. We understand the Covid took a toll on many small business and we always like to support local small businesses if we can, but this took place long before Covid. A few weeks ago we even offered to just have Brandon come do some trimming in exchange for the cost of the trees, but he didn't respond and wouldn't even grab a shovel and come get the dead trees out that he planted! So, our experience is that this company is responsive and friendly until they get your money, and then if something goes wrong after their service, they wash their hands of you, even when they offer a written warranty to replace trees that die within a year. The mark of a great business is standing by their work and taking care of things when they go wrong. I would not recommend this company for any service whatsoever. read more
