The needle prick was barley noticeable and the infusion process was comfortable. I received hydration and supplements to boost my body back following a terrible flu. Within 30 minutes of the treatment, my muscle and joint stiffness was relieved, my overall well-being was improved and my energy levels went up. The positive effects continued for a few days and my body completely recovered from being sick. I can see myself using ThrĪV IV Bar for lots of reasons in the future. Hopefully not because I get sick again, but also for sports recovery and beauty reasons. I'm so glad I'm aware that this service is available.

The process is rather straight forward. Kelsy talks to you about your needs and how you've felt to better tailor the IV. You get stuck with a needle (it doesn't hurt), and then the drip is attached. It's all rather seamless, and I felt incredible an hour after. Also, Kelsey is also very adaptive in someone's home, really engages you about your health needs, and is the salt of the earth type of person you'd be happy to have in your personal space. I generally am hesitant to have strangers in my home. (I've had plenty of home health practitioners because of a family situation). Kelsey felt like an old friend coming to visit!

I was injured in PT and getting worse, new symptoms and just in a lot of pain. The doctor here not only dismissed anything I had to say, but recommended I instead go to therapy. He said " you are fine, nothings going to be wrong", was essentially gaslighting me. Left this awful place, switched to a new work comp and saw a qualified doctor and specialist, this doctor took one look and feel and immediately knew I needed surgery. So because of midtown, I was delayed treatment and care and who knows, may have long lasting impact, even though the doctor was 100% positive i would not have any long term impact. Yeah well....my ankle is barely attached so there's that! Again, if you are a first responder, DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO NOT GET BETTER!!!! PLEASE!!!!!! Im beating myself up about coming here. I am strictly reviewing based on my medical care here. It was borderline inappropriate and quite disappointing. This experience was quite traumatizing, as I am in the profession of helping people, so to get this treatment and feel like a villain, is unacceptable and should not be allowed. Would not recommend to anyone. Im still angry over the whole thing, its malpractice entirely. His actions left me needing surgery and hopefully no long term damage. Do not come here, I beg you.

I couldn't sit for more than 30 seconds and was is pain all the time. I tried everything and nothing was helping (the strongest pain meds wouldn't even take the edge off). A friend suggested Kacey and I thought that I had nothing to lose so despite some apprehension and doubt, I tried acupuncture for the first time with her. Initially I went every couple of days and after the second visit, I stood up and felt a 40% pain reduction. It was incredible! Things continued to get better and better and now I see her every 6-8 weeks. I have seen her for almost two years and not only does she treat my back and help me prevent major pain episodes, she helps me with stress, colds, anxiety...really anything I'm dealing with. She is a very caring person and I'm so impressed with how she remembers so much about every patient. She treats me very holistically and I have never once felt like she is trying to push sessions or sales l. It's actually the complete opposite with her. She tells me to listen to my body and let her know when I need another session. She is very responsive and I can text her and get an appointment very quickly when I need it (since sometimes it's hard to know in advance when something will happen that makes me need a session). She even drove in once on her day off just to treat me because I was having an emergency pain situation. She also does some acupressure during the acupuncture session and it's really powerful! I cannot recommend Kacey highly enough!

Dr Rock has been at the center of MY health care & pain management because of CRITICAL issues with our "Primary Care Physician" & multiple missed diagnoses for both me & my wife by said Primary Care Physician. My wife & I both have been continuing to visit our current PCP & my wife, "Beth," has been following up with Urgent Care EACH TIME she visits primary care for several months now & we've discovered our Primary Care has been missing very basic health problems, which "immediately & intrinsically" create issues with ALL other "specialized healthcare providers" & make more severe diagnoses nearly impossible!!! Dr Rock is truly at the core of my care & has helped me to manage constant & excruciating pain, fatigue, and quality of life. He is certainly a "PATIENT ORIENTED " doctor who "TRULY CARES about his patients" & he worries less about making MONEY ($$) & MORE about his patients health care & preventative medicine! My wife & I have truly been struggling for well over a year now because of "fundamental care" problems with our Primary Care Physician (PCP) who continues to make fundamental errors & whom continues to miss "multiple" & "significant/simple diagnoses"!! Dr Rock Navarkal has been very understanding & has not given up on finding answers to my suggestions. I never would have made it this far without his help and we are currently seeking a "caring & knowledgable" primary care physician who has availability within a reasonable time frame, but this has been difficult recently with all of the scary illness going around! I believe Dr Rock is doing all he can to help me & that I wouldn't be able to physically DO what needs to be done without his care here in Colorado!! - as ALL OF our family/friends/ spiritual guidance/ & General/Basic Support live some distance away in the Oklahoma/Texas area & whom all need serious medical attention. I am a totally disabled veteran & struggle daily just to survive mentally & Dr. Rock is always a breath of fresh air!! Thank you for your continued care Dr. Rock! I wrote this review as a "THANK YOU" & to let you (along with anyone else who actually takes the time to read this) just how much I depend on you, as well to encourage others out there looking for a CARING Pain Management doctor. Thanks!!! - Jeff B.

I felt there was nothing to lose and no where else to turn. I did my research - she was in-network and accepted my health insurance but I also read reviews about her. Those reviews are what propelled me to give it a try. Not only has Sylvia addressed each of my issues individually and grounded me, she has helped me with a host of other non-related items such as health, nutrition, body temperature (always being cold) as well as fertility. I no longer have knee or back pain so ski season was a success this year AND I'm looking forward to being on the bike this spring/summer/fall! I would not recommend doing anything physical afterwards (riding a bike, gym, etc) and allow your body time to heal. I felt relaxed for days after a treatment. Every time I went - I was comforted by the herbal aromas, the warmth, the comfortable beds/pillows and the music. I found myself meditating during the "healing" process and felt not only rejuvenated but relaxed and pain free afterwards. Sylvia is a breath of fresh air from traditional Western medicine. Most doctors want to see you in/out as quickly as possible. They don't really listen and definitely don't believe in alternative healing methods other than medication, medication, medication. Sylvia takes the time to get to know you, to understand what's bothering you and recommends alternative ways to "heal" and be well in conjunction with anything you may doing with your regular doctor(s). She believes in healing with diet, acupuncture and herbal remedies. She specializes in women's fertility and is a wealth of information. She really listens and I truly respect her as a professional. I wish she would write a book! She sends confirmation emails for your next appointment, reminders as well as electronic receipts. She's very flexible too as I've had to reschedule a few times around work meetings. Sylvia and the Denver Center for Acupuncture receive 5 stars from me!!!

Furthermore, this is a review about a specific provider, not of acupuncture itself. Now, I could go on for days about my apprehensions about acupuncture, reluctance to give it a shit, frustration with my particular issues (sinus and digestive), and eventual willingness to give it a try, but that's not applicable to the review. You can track down my blog for that if it's something you want to explore. So let's talk about this business. Simply put, it is excellent. So is Sylvia. It's a great little building, out of the way with its own little courtyard and off-street parking (a rarity in this area!) There's one chair in the front room, and that's all they'll ever need, as there's rarely a wait. Appointments are honored on time, service is prompt but relaxed and always professional. Rates are fair, appointments are confirmed electronically, and everything is just awesome, convenient, and extremely comfortable. Cleanliness is certainly a factor, and this place is impeccably clean. There's so much to be delighted with. Sylvia is every bit as amazing as the space in which she works. (I'm sure these things tend to go hand in hand, so it's not surprising.) She's easy to work with, asks all the right questions, ensures you're comfortable, and does gets to work. After your acupuncture session (which will differ, I'm sure, depending on your needs), you'll find yourself in an uncommonly relaxed state. During this time, you'll want to focus inward on your calm bliss. Somehow, Sylvia manages to handle all the tricky administrative stuff (payment [even flexible spending accounts!], scheduling, etc) in such an easy, flowing manner that your calm is never disturbed. You float out of the office to your transportation. At this point, you're on your own for maintaining that blissful calm. Maybe take a few minutes to relish it on a bench in the courtyard before you dive back into traffic. :)
