Our tour guide Hans really went the extra mile to ensure that we captured all the best vistas and viewpoints throughout the drive. The weather was magnificent, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. The sandwich lunch was filling/good.

Christine was very patient with all the questions from my 7 year old. We saw elk, moose, and several other animals, Christine was very knowledgeable. There were many stops in varying places. The bus was comfortable with large viewing windows, and Christine had a microphone connected to the bus audio system, so we could all hear. She was very good about repeating questions into the microphone, so we were all looped into the conversation. The only part of the tour that I thought was underwhelming was the stop at Estes Park. I know some people like to look at knick-knacks in tourist towns, but I would have been happy to skip it. It was only an hour.

I brought my whole family and it was enjoyable for all ages from 12 to 77- There is a bit of walking and standing but some chances to sit down. Totally more interesting than walking around the area without information. The fun part (all of it is fun) was going inside Union Station and hearing the history that has been glossed over by historians trying to attract visitors to Denver. As the tour progresses, it gets better and better. By the time we exited Union Station, it was dark and the area was lit up with people enjoying the beautiful evening- you see pedicabs and bicycles, lit buildings and a fountain with lights in addition to the story weaver guide. This is the authentic tour to take.

We learned so much about Denver's history, how the city has evolved over the years, and the stories behind many of its historic buildings and landmarks. The tour also helped us discover several places we wanted to return to and explore in more depth. The meeting location was easy to find, and we were each given an audio headset so we could hear our guide clearly throughout the tour--a thoughtful touch that made the experience even better. If you're looking for a great introduction to Denver, I highly recommend this tour.

I really enjoyed learning about the area's history and recent revitalization. I love it when cities can repurpose old buildings rather than tear them down. The tour started and ended at the train station which is an impressive building and is nicely air conditioned which helped us cool down at the end of the tour. The earbuds made it easy to hear throughout the tour even when there was traffic noise. Definitely bring plenty of water if it's hot out; there is shade which helps, but it is a walking tour so be prepared to be outside for the majority of the time. I was very happy I was wearing my sun hat. This was a fun activity and it was great to learn about the area of Denver where we were staying.

Four of the 9 ppl in our van took advantage of it - which meant the tour went an hour beyond the allotted time and we were rushed through the sites we paid to see. Other lowlights were listening to the guide drone on and on about his life and opinions, pulling over THREE times as one lady thought she maybe saw some wildlife waaaayyy in the distant woods, and spending much too long in a small town where half the stores were closed so the gondola opters could have their unscheduled fun and the tour company could grab a few extra dollars.

Devon is such a wonderful tour guide; incredibly accommodating and professional. He was really informative about the area. Stopped to let me get a close look at elk and even a moose. We had a lovely lunch at a cafe at the top of the mountains. I loved the weather, it was 80 when we left, then it rained, then it hailed, then it snowed! On the way back, Devon casually tosses out, "Do you like pie?" WHO doesn't like pie?! He stopped at a little place he knows where a woman in her 80's makes homemade pie (Colorado Cherry Company), but unfortunately, it was closed (so whe had to stop for ice cream further down the road). Devon and I talked throughout the entire tour (which was about 7 hours) about books and our love for animals and nature and our lives; as we drove through some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. It was one of those few days in my life that I will remember and cherish; when you have a great connection with both nature and with another kindred spirit.
