Had Robert at color mate send a tech to my office in Doral yesterday. Was intending to have scratches on the bottom edges of front bumper repaired and bumper repainted. Also was going to have four rims repainted. Sadly that work was begun and ended horribly. The tech was 45 minutes late for 10 am appointment . The timing and the weather took the rim repaint off the table. Fine, fix the bumper. Got keys back at about 4pm. Things wrong: 1- poor tape job with paint on headlight and various trim 2- overspray on windshield and entire car that will require complete clay bar treatment 3- failure to prepare and paint the scratches on the bottom of the bumper (this was the reason for the appointment in the first place!) 4- Robert conversation on the phone with me suggesting that fixing scratches was extra above the $350 quoted for full bumper repair. I would suggest not using this service. The professional response you may expect is not delivered. read more

Just had my paint repaired, rim repaired and 2 dings removed on my BMW. I was concerned about the paint matching but it is perfect! Looks like the day I bought her again. Phil did the paint and rim. He was on time and finished in about 2 hours. Robert did the dings. Very professional and finished in less than an hour. I'm happy with the results. This is the first time I've ever damaged my car while parking (I forgot how low my car is, oops). The dings were "gifts" from other drivers (is it really necessary for folks to swing their door open that hard? I mean really). It didn't take much time after moving to Miami to know the worst drivers in America reside here. Your car is not even safe in a small, half empty parking lot as in my case. And of course, as I walk to my car after a long 6 day work week ready to go home for the weekend, I notice my front bumper scratched on my relatively new (4month old) car :( After doing some research, I knew I didn't want to waste my time and money going to the dealership to fix this, and that's where ColorMate's rave reviews and before & after pictures seemed like the best option. The technician (I believe his name was Mike? - originally from NYC and very professional and polite) actually came to my job and was on time. He worked on my car for a few hours - which I felt so bad for him since it was so extremely hot that day and offered him some water or to take a break in my nicely air-conditioned office - but he didn't complain and all and finished the job. The results were amazing and I'm so pleased with the service. The fact that they were able to set up an appointment for me the next day AND they came to my job so I didn't have to be inconvenienced was amazing! Over the past few years, I've contracted Robert and his team for 5 different jobs - all on luxury vehicles. 1 golf ball dent on the door of one of our cars. 4 door dings on a separate car. 1 large dent above the front driver side tire. 1 paint job to remove multiple scratches and a significant dent. 1 rim repair job The dents were all removed by Robert and the paint job was done by Arturo. Someone purposely keyed my car mirror cover on the passenger side. I called Color Mate Auto to fix as they had great reviews. Alan the Manager got back to me right away. Quoted me a reasonable price and set up my appointment. Arturo, the Tech, was at my house promptly. Took time to assure all areas that weren't to be painted were covered properly. Assured paint was exact color. All toll it took him between 1 to 2 hours. The end result was perfect. You would never know my mirror cover had ever been keyed. I was super pleased. I had a dent in my Dodge Dakota's on the top of the left front fender. One dent company came out and said how much work was involved and how the front light would have to come off etc... of course with a enormous estimate. I called Color Mate, sent them some pictures, they gave a good estimate over the telephone and I set up an appointment. A couple of weeks ago I had Color Mate come out to fix the dent. Roberto from Color Mate came out. Immediately took our his equipment, very organized and in less than 5 mins took out 95% of the dent. I thought that was it and I would have been satisfied, but then he took out his smaller tools and spent the next 45+ mins. making it 100% like new. Roberto did a great job, was friendly and personable. Color Mate should be happy they have him. I know I was to have him work on my car. Great experience! Very easy to schedule and talk to. Send picture of the damaged wheel, and right away got a price and possible time of the appointment that we agreed on. The technician was at the agreed upon place right on time (he also called me about 30 minutes before he arrived to confirm and all). Once we met up he inspected the wheel once more and told me it will take about 30 minutes so I went to grab something to eat. About 30 minutes later he called me that it's ready. I needed to have my front passenger side fender replaced, and after having heard so many horror stories about body shops in south Florida, I was quite nervous. After finding Color Mate on Yelp and seeing their positive reviews, I decided to give this mobile body shop a try, and I am glad that I did. Robert, the owner, was very open regarding what would need to be done and the pricing. He gave me a quote quickly, and the final price ended up being exactly the same as the quote. Robert was also able to communicate via text message, which was important to me since I can't make a lot of phone calls while at work. My appointment was for 10:00AM with Phil, and he arrived right at 10:00AM, which was awesome. Phil had to take the front bumper off, replace the grill which was also damaged, and take off the the damaged fender. He then had to match the paint (a cool process that he took the time to explain to me) on the replacement fender, install it, and put the front bumper back on. Overall it was quite labor intensive, but Phil was finished around 1:30, which was much faster than I expected. As the photos show, he matched the paint perfectly and the new fender looks original. I am very happy with the service, the price, and the final product. I would absolutely use Color Mate again, and I will recommend them to anyone I know who needs body work. read more

Beyond satisfied with the services provided by Arturo. I was able to get a quote and repair in the same week for a very decent price. I had some significant damage done to the front end of my car, and while shopping around for quotes many people said I would need to get my entire bumper changed out, while another told me most of the damage was paint transfer and would charge me close to 800 dollars to repair.
