When I heard that she had opened her own salon in Connecticut, I knew I had to follow her. Upon entering the salon, I was immediately struck by its modern and welcoming atmosphere. The space was beautifully decorated with a touch of elegance, creating a comfortable environment for clients. I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff, who made me feel right at home. As always, Emina's skills and expertise shone through during my appointment. She took the time to listen to my hair goals and desires, ensuring that she fully understood what I wanted. If I could give 10 or 100 stars - I would. When I walked into Emina's salon for the first time - my hair was a disaster. I recently moved to the area and had tried two other colorist to touch up my golden blonde hair. Instead - the other salons gave me grey/brown hair. It was a disaster. Emina and her team took it in on without hesitation and stayed late until it was all corrected. Remember - this was another salon's mistake. However, they didn't bat an eye - they tried two things on my hair and BINGO - it was fixed. I seriously wanted to cry I was so happy. They obviously love what they do and understand customer service. I was a complete stress ball when I walked in and they handled it with grace and professionalism. I am very happy with Emina. I walked in on a Sunday to ask her what I could do about my hair, the previous salon I went to colored it wrong. I have light brown hair, when colored right. It was a reddish blond. I never knew what color my hair was going to be from previous salon. Emina fixed it right away, she knew exactly what to do to get my hair back to light brown. Needless to say, I have been going to her regularly for cut and color. Had a Brazilian blowout today and it looks great. She really takes her time with you. Amazing amazing amazing service at the Color Lounge from Emina and Nicole!! This was my first appointment booked with them and I got a full post-quarantine work up. Emina did a full head balayage on me, while nicole did a brow wax/tint and eyelash lift/tint. Both ladies were patient and knowledgeable and left me feeling like a brand new person!! While Emina has been coloring hair for more than 20 years I believe, I usually go just to get my grays covered and a touch of pink. I do go regularly for blow outs though. I bought a package of 10 and she just keeps track at her register, which is fine by me. She is lovely, and her assistant Nicky is super sweet. The location is a very easy on/off I-95 Exit 10.
