She did a great job at pulling off a wavy natural look for me. When I brought this up to the owners, thinking they would be understanding, I got the rudest tone. "We are not responsible for personal items, that's our policy" which actually in fact, that "policy" is no where on their website. Neil (co owner) then continued to say that it was my fault. That it is the customers responsibility to make sure the smock is on correct. Then when I sent over photos of the ruined shirt he followed up with photos of my finished hair and the top of my shirt (stain is located at the bottom...) saying "The color looks wonderful and your shirt looks great there is no stain. Have a great weekend". It is really unfortunate that an accidental stain on a $98 shirt has led to such poor and honestly, disgusting customer service. There has been no apology, no offer to replace the shirt, no refund of tip, nothing. So no. I do not recommend BonBon Hair Studio.

Such a great experience, I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have crazy, curly, unruly hair and after being unable to get an appt with my normal salon, I searched high and low for another salon in CT that had someone certified in Magic Sleek and finally found Kim. She didn't just dive right into any sort of "standard" treatment, she asked all sorts of questions about my previous treatments and how much curl I wanted to keep, etc... 4 hours, and a simple but gorgeous cut later, I walked out with smooth, frizz free hair that retained its curl but is fully relaxed! I have probably had, over the years quite an array of treatments and when I can, I go and have a manicure or pedicure and unlike everyday spas, this is an experience that can change your life - there is so little noise pollution here- the staff are wonderful and you know you are supporting healthy work environments which is important when one is having a treatment- They also have visiting specialists and a hair stylist, Kenneth who made it possible for me NOT to have to trek into NYC to have a decent hair cut. The couch has been removed to make place for merchandise. instead, they offer 2 chairs which are postioned in front of and to the side of the speaker pumping out the obnoxiously loud 'soothing' spa music. There is no place in the waiting room to escape the noise (and the cluttered, visual display of random merchandise). In the pedicure area, the music was just as loud. I expected a quiet, spa-like experience for my overpriced pedicure and was instead met with a cacophony of noise. Beyond disappointed in this dramatic downfall.
