Nice spot and tasty espresso. Sizing of a large to go was smaller than I anticipated, but hit the spot.

Can not say enough about this place. Found it while on vacation and just wish I could bring it back home with me! Clean, open space with lots of light. Simple and fresh pastries, coffees, and food. If you get a chance to try their waffle with peaches, ricotta cheese, and honey, please try it!!!!! The spicy chai is a delicious treat and the avocado toast is lovely. This is a great place to sync up for a morning meeting or sit and have a quiet place to study or read a book while enjoying a flavorful cup of gourmet coffee. I'm so impressed with Color. They serve the best espresso from Vail to Glenwood (probably a wider radius than that, even.) I have been here multiple times but ordered a doppio espresso today and was blown away by the flavor. No one else in this area comes close. read more

Big city vibe, hip and trendy coffee bar right in the heart of Eagle Ranch. Great addition to Eagle! Obviously the focus is coffee, but they also do some small food items, i.e. Toast! Finally! A great cup of coffee without the Yeti's attitude and their ridiculo prices or Starbuck's crowds--AND it's closer to my house! The dude at the counter was friendly and helpful--he chatted up some jeep trails and was very accomodating even tho' I am obviously no hipster. The baked goods looked awesome and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I hope this place survives, being out of the way and off I-70. read more

Went here for coffee after a hike in the area. The four coffees my group ordered were excellent. I had the mocha latte. 2 of us had the cold brew on tap, and we also had the honey lavender latte. We all loved the drinks and would come back in a heartbeat. The decor is very hip and inviting and the owner is a super nice guy. Bad start to a beautiful day at my neighborhood coffee spot. Barista Lexi wanted no part in making my usual half caf/half decaf. She even told me it couldn't be done! I assured her that making a decaf Americano would solve this insurmountable challenge. No greeting, no smile, cleaned the counter before acknowledging me and the customer behind me. I would love for businesses to thrive in the village and make every attempt to shop/eat/hang in my hood. Starbucks here I come! read more

The coffee is ok. It's not great and because this place is so expensive I felt it didn't deserve more than 3 stars. The atmosphere isn't cozy at all either so it's not the kind of place you want to spend time in. read more

Unfortunately, the attitude of "hipster dude" at this place really does not help it. The coffee is average at best, but they don't think so and their price and attitude reflect this. The food is also "wanna be healthy" with avocado toast, and gluten free blah blah, but plenty of sugar involved, and nothing resembling high protein. They don't seem to look kindly on suggestions or subs. Portions are tiny. My little slice of 6$ quiche with the arugula salad with almonds and raisins came with 1 almond- slivered- and I did pay extra for avocado- a slice- and asked to have a little tomato and no raisins. Maybe they could have gone the extra mile and given me 2 almonds since I said hold the raisins... They're slow, they've got attitude and it's just too bad because Eagle is in need of cool places for locals to hang and enjoy some solid fare, and there's nothing better than a cool coffee shop. But, they have a lot of work to do here and I doubt they will because they're already too cool for school. Oh well. Sorry Color. read more

I have been here a handful of times and always felt welcome, never once the snooty hipster experience other reviewers mention. Maybe just a bad egg in the staff. I don't care for the coffee here, but the tea is absolutely wonderful. 3 stars because I would like to see more in the bakery/pastry selection as it would bring me in more often. Pricing also keeps me away at times. read more

Excellent latte! Also had the spicy chai with spices made in-house. Highly recommend the waffle. Beer is available on tap as well as wine if you're in the mood for something else. So nice to be walking distance to a great place to chill out. read more

Best coffee I ever had....ever. The roasts range from light and subtle on the palate, to balanced and smooth, all the way to robust and earthy. The food is always healthy, creative and delicious made fresh right in front of you. There's also a great selection of hard to find Colorado and out of state beers.
