The hair stylists were all extremely friendly and engaged with me in conversation as I waited for my highlights to process. Sometimes when I get highlights I feel like it takes forever without any overly impressive results. Here, my stylist worked efficiently so I wasn't sitting in the chair for four hours, and it turned out great! I'm looking forward to see how my hair will look in a couple weeks after a bit of grow out. In terms of the atmosphere, it was very bright, earthy and peaceful. She was the only one with recent availability. I think she did an ok job on the cut, which was $110 for long hair, $132 after tip. She styled my hair after the cut which was nice. Unfortunately the experience was very painful for me. My scalp felt like how my teeth would feel after a dentist appmt. Her long nails kept scratching me when she was grabbing my hair and she also pulled on the hair really hard while cutting and blow drying. I still remember my first cut with her- I walked in with incredibly damaged curly hair and tears in my eyes. I was sooooo fed up! Her first words,"it's ok, but do you trust me? We can fix this...
