Mediterranean Veggie Flatbread and an ice cold crafted beer
    Kaz Z.

Colonial Beach Brewery is serving up a variety of really good crafted beers and now some good food. We split the Mediterranean Vegetable Flatbread. It was generously topped with vegetables, feta cheese and Greek olives. Loved it! We'll be back to try more of this new Mediterranean menu.

This was a highlight of our long weekend at Colonial Beach. We rented a house nearby for the weekend and scoped out the area for things to do since it was a rainy and cloudy Memorial Day weekend. We showed up in the late afternoon and the place was packed. After getting our beer, which were all really good, we settled into the Annex to listen to music. I appreciate that they had entertainment but kept it at a reasonable volume so we could still carry on a conversation. We had 7 beers between 4 people and our tab was about $63. Seems high to me but I'm sure there are taxes and other fees. While it was pricey, I am happy to pay it to enjoy the entertainment and the great company of my friends.

Pretty basic operation. I lucked out with being in the area just as they opened at 2pm on a Friday. Many outdoor seats, shade umbrellas, ordering window with a cute bell, hand sanitizer was provided. The bathroom was very clean, modern and spacious. The beer i tried was not bad.

We had a great time at Colonial Beach Brewing! Though a limited selection of beers, all that we tried were fantastic. The Peach Seltzer beer was really good for those that are not big "beer people." Very welcoming atmosphere had some fun games to provide a chance to get into the air conditioning and out of the heat. Would definitely return if we were in the area.

This is the tiniest little brewery I've ever seen. But, for a small place, it packs a punch! There's a front entrance with live music, a few tables, TVs, and a mini sized bar. There's also an even tinier back entrance with a few seats (18) at the bar and outdoor seatings with umbrellas... and on the side there's a covered patio. Look, this is Colonial Beach so for them to have a brewery at all is a huge accomplishment! Go CB!! As for the brews, I had the Potomac Pale Ale which was very foamy and bitter; and the Beach Blonde Ale which was crisp and easy sipping. My friend had the Beach Haze which she said was her fav. If you are ever in the CB, this is definitely worth stopping in for a beer!

I had four different beers and also brought some carry out from next door at Denson's. They let you do that! Highly recommend this place, chill spot with steady flow of customers on a Saturday afternoon. Thanks for the great service!

Great place. A little hidden but definitely the place to hit up. Friendly staff and the prices are great to.

The wings were good, though the sauce was drizzled on rather than fully tossed. Cons:The fries were just okay. Despite staying to enjoy the live music, our wings and fries were served in to-go containers, and we weren't provided plates--expected to eat straight from the boxes, even though plates were clearly available behind the bar. Beer and cider selections were also more limited than expected. Overall: The venue has a great atmosphere, live entertainment, and decent wings, but the limited drink selection and the inconvenience of eating from to-go containers indoors significantly affected the overall experience. Therefore, I need to give this one a 3 out of 5.

We were here earlier than usual (10:30 am, don't judge me for drinking before noon!!!) and we're the only customers. It's uniquely located at a camp ground, but parking is a bit limited. The tasting room is small but has amble seating. There was a piano in the tasting room and no one was at the tasting room when we entered. My daughter who is a beginner pianist, wanted to play. Since there were no signs on the piano that forbid people touching, she went ahead and played. Then an older gentleman came in and told us in a stern tone that the piano is not for playing. He was not friendly at all and even after we apologized and ordered a flight for sampling, he still was not engaging. I'm not sure if he is the brew master or just someone works for the campsite store, but he didn't seem too happy to be there. We had the 2 stouts, an Amber, and pilsner on tap for our flight. They were all just OK. We didn't want to order more because his attitude and the sense that we were not welcomed there... Which was too bad because it was a nice space with plenty of outdoor seating, a playground in the back for kids to play while parents enjoy some refreshing beer. We will most likely not go back again given the cold-shoulder treatment.
