I was already working with Scott at Michigan Sandblasting and planned to have my Jeep's underbody sandblasted there. Rashid told me they could apply POR-15 afterward, so based on that I paid to have the Jeep towed down there. After it arrived, everything changed. Rashid started questioning the project and for over a week I was given the runaround. Multiple times Rashid told me he would "talk to Scott figure out a solution and call me back," but the call back never happened. Every time I followed up I got the same vague response and nothing actually moved forward. Rashid knew all of the details prior to me towing it down there. If this wasn't a job they wanted to take on, that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of telling me to bring the vehicle down and spend money towing it there. It's extremely frustrating to be told something can be done, only to have the shop avoid giving a straight answer after the vehicle is already there. Very disappointing and unprofessional way to handle a customer. I wasted time and money because they couldn't simply be upfront about whether they were willing to do the work.

I took my car to J & J Collision the next day (a Saturday), just expecting them to get me a new door, but they far exceeded my expectations. At the time of the accident, my car was essentially three different colors. I had sun damage on the entire front half. Last year, I took it to Lafontaine (where I purchased the car) to repaint the hood. Lafontaine did a terrible job, painting my hood at least 3 shades lighter than it was supposed to be and tried to charge me extra to fix some nonexistent dents in the hood. I took "before" pictures, so I know that there were no dents. I was really impressed with the communication I had with Waled and the rest of the staff. They kept me informed about what was going on with my car, and were very clear about how exactly much I would pay out of pocket to have the sun damaged areas painted. It was absolutely beautiful when I picked it up. It looked brand new and was all one color. The painter was able to blend my hood, sun damaged sides, door and back of the car together seamlessly. I paid extra for it, and it was so worth it. My car actually looks much better than it did before the accident. I highly recommend J & J Collsion.

I dropped it off after the replacement parts came in on a Monday and it was done by Friday. They did an excellent job, can't even tell I wrecked it. It's a family owned business and you can tell they take pride in that. If I had to say one thing negative is they didn't call me when the parts came in. After they were ordered about a week with no word. I called the and they said they were in. Not sure how long I would have waited if I didn't call. Definitely not a deal breaker, for all I know they came in that day and they would have called be that afternoon. If I ever wreck my car again, I will take it here and will recommend it to anyone that needs body repairs.
