I watched him deal with a few different customers while I was waiting and was impressed not only by how many he new by name, but also the general extent of his knowledge on the details of each car and his inside out knowledge of the different issues and options. I would consider moving to Ludlow just to have this man as my regular mechanic. It is a little bit tucked back from the road and not a ton of signage, but worth it if you need someone in the area.

I decided to get it fixed and wanted it to look perfect if I was paying someone and not DIY. Tom, the owner, assessed it and gave me an estimate. The estimate was higher than other shops in the area but I knew that going in from the other reviews and word of mouth. I decide to go with his shop and schedule the repair. Monday, the day I'm supposed to drop off the van rolls around, and I give a call into the shop just to confirm. Tom says he can't do it this week, and reschedules me for next Monday. I drop off the van the following Monday, and get the van back Thursday. Two phone calls to communicate status and progress in the mean time. The repair looks flawless to me and Tom stated he would stand behind the work if I had any trouble again. He took the time to even show me pictures and explained what the process was. There is a considerable amount of time and effort put into preparation with any paint work, and it is evident they do not cut corners here. Expensive, but flawless repair and excellent customer service. I'd recommend this shop if you're looking for your car to look exactly how it was from the factory and are willing to pay for it.

The message was pay us now, $1,200 or, if I wait, the price of fixing the car at a later date would be $2,800. I was leaving on a 12 day trip in a couple of weeks so we left the car to have the work done while we were gone. When we returned home, we went down to pick it up and it was not ready "we need to test drive it one more time" We returned the next day, the car was ready and I was handed a bill of $2,800. That is not the work I asked for, that was the cost if I let the problem get worse. I was fuming inside but paid the bill and left. When I returned home, I found two Wyndham Hotel keys in my center console which I cleaned out before I dropped the car off. There was significant mileage on my car. I called and spoke with Eric. He claimed the hotel keys were probably found on the floor of the garage and someone put them in my car ( huh?). He also denied someone drove my car - well, I sure didn't and I knew what the milage was because they had just changed my oil and I was able to calculate the difference. Overall, very disappointing as it is so difficult to find honest mechanics. The people who referred us to Auto Advisors are no longer customers there either.

After 4 months, they told me they could not do the work and I'd need to take it elsewhere... In the meantime, I have to pay around $500/mo lease payments, $1,000/mo rental car payments and $1,600 insurance... so $7.6k later, still no car... and waiting for the other body shop to repair my car. I bought a used car to avoid more car rental expenses. You'd be crazy to take your vehicle here.
