Stanziano gave me 80% of my contracted cement . Down sized the concrete pad . The excavator did…read moreit correctly and then they changed it . The owner blamed me. He was there and measured the 9'6'' width and I dug down 8'' right in front of him from the pine tree and hit no roots. All they had to do was put the form where the excavator (foreman of the job marked it. (9'6'') and the apron 10' which some how got changed to 8' !!! . Then claimed the apron had to be uniform with the front of the pad. NOT TRUE. That`s why it`s called an apron. I waisted 3000 dollars on that job. Not wide enough to park on; plus when the forms were removed, nothing was under the right rear of the pad bur AIR !!!,. To add insult to injury, the owner has one of his workers dump a bucket of gravel by the corner; plus the concrete there was only 2 '' thick. THEY OWE ME 600 dollars over charge, plus I`d like my receipt paid in full, that I requested several times. They claimed they were the best around ! I beg to differ !! Don D.

I had to go to the bar to find out what other beers were available and found many others. Other than not knowing what beers, our server was very pleasant and delivered food quickly. Food was served warm and fresh. Baby back ribs were Excellent and not overcooked or reheated. Almond crusted fish was crunchy and thin, very disappointing for $22. Overall restaurant was clean and good atmosphere with a beautiful patio overlooking the boat docks.

Every time I go home to visit the family, I'm sure to swing by here for a pint and walleye sandwich or cup of French onion soup.

This company showed up with a giant limb fell onto my house, assured me for 45 minutes that they could handle the job. Contract was signed for the two part job to be done all in one day. Then the equipment stopped working and the excuses started. I had to beg them for the photos they took of the roof to send into the insurance company and he very maturely stopped responding to my messages altogether. TWICE the owner Steve King no called no showed scheduled appointments with no phone call explanation. They left rust pile messes in my yard, oil stains on my sandstone pavers, and wanted to try to tell me that *31 days* from the time the contract was signed was an acceptable amount of time to get the job done. Don't be a fool like me and put your money and trust these guys. They completely took advantage of my emergency and vanished with my payment in full.

No telling me "My wife had to be there for the initial visit" (That is also a timeshare selling tactic) No Special "back to school pricing" gimmicks. No buy one get one free. No LYING and saying the competition makes inferior windows (Then when you see what Window universe does it is actually better than the other company) I got 18 quotes for work on my house 5 window quotes. so I am tired and cranky. I didnt call Window Universe intially. (my mistake) I had one company (Who I wont review) that was all the way up to getting a downpayment from me. They seemed good initially but I had to fire them when they didnt show up (it was a fourth offence) Too bad. Well I called Window Universe they came out fast. The quoting process was fast. The person (lance) who came out was very personable. Now I didnt realize this but their quote was 1500 less than the other guy I fired. Also Lance is a dialed in person. He called Provia on my door and he told me that the door I was getting was not compatible so we had to switch. The previous guy was going to give me that door with the side lights. (Was it going to even work??) yeah so there was that. The appointment took minutes. We also talked about basement glass block windows. Their prices. Right on the sheet AND they were really good about 1/2 what I expected to pay. So I am going to do that too before the winter. Anyhow when all was said and done Window Universe was less than the guy I almost used and Lance double checked he got the proper sized windows and sidelights. Great experience and I still have 3+ weeks before the windows show up. Ill come back and add some pictures after it is done. I know it is going to be great.

They let me know when they were on the way, & when they were here, they were extremely polite, professional & friendly. I could literally stand under the fan and feel the cold outside air blowing down on me in my bathroom. Mark and Logan came out and installed a new exhaust fan and insulated around it that stop the draft of the cold air. They worked quickly but did an outstanding job and were very polite and professional. Great guys and I would highly recommend them.
