At 5:00, I got a reminder call from a very professional and energetic young lady to let me know they were out to the house soon. She was great to talk to when most people would be winding down from a work day -- she was very peppy! Soon after the call, Kamran came to the house. He was very professional and polite, examined the issue, gave me a price quote, and then completed the project in great time!! He was very thorough, detail-oriented, and walked me through everything he was going to do. I am so glad to say that we have our "go-to plumber" now thanks to Five Star Plumbing and Heating!! Thank you!!

I called Five Star Plumbing and Heating Friday afternoon and Kamran came out the following Monday…read more He gave me a window of time that he would be there and showed up not only on time during that window, but spot on at the start of it. He came in, checked the drains we were concerned about, and helped us clear them. Kamran also recommended some items to us on Amazon that will help us prevent the issue going forward. He cleaned up after himself and gave us what I consider a reasonable price for the work. Overall, a very good experience and we'll be reaching out to Five Star Plumbing and Heating for any other issues we have in the future.

The good : the plumbers who came to my house were polite and seem like nice people…read more The bad : I hired them to install 3 fixtures and fix 2 leaky fixtures in early July. They came out to see the job, gave me a quote, and we scheduled the services. On the install day, I paid in full but afterward they discovered they would not be able to do 2 of the jobs. (1. I purchased the wrong tub fixture and 2. They don't work on boilers.... Even though they inspected the job for the original quote.) They said they would refund for the jobs I paid for that they were not able to complete. They never refunded me for the work they didn't complete. The work they did "complete" leaked profusely and I had to call them back 4 times to come fix it. The fifth time I called, I was sent to voicemail. I left 2 messages that were never returned and they stopped answering my calls. I called from a different number and they answered right away! I told them my fixtures are still leaking and they never refunded for the work they didn't do. The woman on the phone (who was driving when she took my call) did nothing to conceal her irritation and I could hear someone mocking me in the background, as I was apparently on speaker. She cut me off, yelled at me, told me her husband would have to call to deal with me (I was being SO POLITE- Im not gonna be a jerk to anyone I have to let in my house!!!) and she hung up on me! I never heard back from them and I was left with a huge bill for work that was never completed and a buncha leaky fixtures. I ended up hiring Geisel to come fix all their work.

drippy drippy drip a plumbing emergency?…read moreStan will clean your pipes. I have used Main Man plumbing service many times over the years for cleaning tree roots from sewer lines, running new water lines, replacing hot water tanks, basically, all sorts of plumbing emergencies. Stan, a master plumber who I believe is the owner, is always punctual, professional, reasonably priced. I can't say much more than when you need a plumber -be it a leaky faucet or a major disaster, I'd give Main Man plumbing a call. Sorry Mr. Rooter, (who wanted to charge me $500 to snake a sewer line) And as for Roto-Rooter, who spams this site constantly, you are not winning over anyone with your pathetic attempts to use this site for advertising. Stan The Man is the way to go. Honest, clean work, always on time. Carry on.
