Home away from home !…read more How do you make a choice for your home away from home . What caused us to pick this hotel or others? Mainly the amazing amenities. We booked our hotel on the Expedia website. The hotel images were presented well and organized accordingly. The hotel offers in room dining, free parking, coffee in the morning, a pool, and a gym . The gym is something important to my life and its twenty four hours. They have a pool if you need to have a lap to make your life easier and more comfortable. The check in was simple and easy. The area is so beautiful. We are here all the way from Vegas . You could drop a pin outside and hear it bounce . The staff were very helpful. As we were in town many types of people came and went; this is important because whatever your need the "Hilton," brand is something that you can count on . They are dog friendly and offer great areas to keep the dog occupied for their walk . Now that we have our room key and we are all checked in let's go and check it out . The room is pretty standard for hotels across the Hilton spectrum. The bathroom is clean and all stocked with fresh towels . The beds all made and everything is in its place . It's easy to control the television. We have tons of outlets to plug in our devices . There is a place to make the essence of life, coffee of course. All is in order let's unpack . We have to close this and start the process of the evening to get ready for the next day. Time to go exploring and use the gym, run that bath, and get all cozy. Mr. Sandman here I come zz

Cleanliness was far from the Hilton standard. A long red strand of hair was found on the empty…read moreshampoo bottle. Scattered mold and white 'marks' on the chair... Broken door handle and missing pieces of the draft stopper made security of walking around comfortably in your room, feel kinda iffy. this hotel is LOUD. I was placed on the 4th floor towards the exit, there is nothing dampening noise in the hall or from your neighbors. They charge for parking even though at booking, there wasn't anything notifying you of that. $6 bottle water in your room, no free breakfast option.

This is a nice space the downstairs lobby is big and airy. They have an area to buy some items…read more They have a restaurant only open for breakfast the buffet it's $12 or you can order off the menu. We did not have breakfast here we went elsewhere. I did go to the bar/dining area to get some food and have a cocktail. Depending on who cooks the food is actually pretty good. Drinks are made pretty well and the bartender/server was nice and the same person both days when I came down to get some nibbles. Now the rooms are pretty spacious but the lighting situation is fairly poor and unless you stay over two nights they won't be making the beds and etc. If you need more towels and etc call/ask them. (This is due to Covid/staffing issues) Now when we checked in we gave them both our information (name, phone, company info, cc) we got our keys and the wi-fi info When unfortunately I got locked out I had to go downstairs (luckily I was still dressed but no shoes) I understand for security purposes they have to ask you things but I had to go thru a lot to get an extra key. She asked me do you know the last four digits of the holders credit card? I was like what? I'm downstairs, shoeless, massless, no phone and you just saw me walk upstairs about a half hour ago? Whatever I had to tell her the name of the company, my husband's name, my name, our address, his phone number. She than said don't be mad ma'am it's for security purposes. I had a long ass day, I was tired, cranky and locked out of my room with no key and my husband is at a business event. This was ANNOYING. Than she sees me the next morning when we dropped off all the keys I told the original person who checked us in I had to get a third key as I was locked out and had to give them basically my unborn child's first name. I think she thought I was joking I told her I'm not and said I dealt with her. I'm grateful my husband was not around at this point as he than came by with his key and told them we are checking out of our room number and here's our keys. They give you a warmed cookie at check in... The view from our room was nice Down the street is a Home Goods, Marshall's and a Dollar tree and oh yea a BJ's down the street. If you want to go the Boston's North End you can go to Fitchburg and get the commuter train.. taco's are flat rate prices and cheaper than an Uber. The room, it's clean enough, bathroom shower stall is dated and also needs better lighting and more than 5 pieces of Kleenex in the box. The company got a rate.. if we had to come back here at least I know what I got to remember. When I come back to Boston on my own I'm gonna use AirbNb or whatever. Out of 5 stars 3.5 Some staff 5 stars Space about 3.5 This ain't the George V in Paris you are bringing up your own bags. Lots of parking

I have to say I was pretty impressed by our stay here…read more We were just in town for the night to visit some friends while we were doing some other shit in the area. GF and I were arriving separately and they were easily able to accommodate her arriving before I and checking in even though I made the reservation. They have what I assume is free parking, unless it was baked into the bill somewhere, which I didn't automatically expect. The location is pretty good, right at the end of Shrewsbury street and within a few minute walk of restaurants and Wormtown. The room was really big and had a kitchenette which was fucking adorable. The bathroom was lovely. The bed was comfortable. The view was pretty good too. I thought I heard footsteps at one point in the morning coming from the room above but I could have been dreaming. Nothing ear plugs didn't fix. I would definitely stay here again.

The house itself is a 300-year-old farmhouse that has been owned by only 5 families throughout its history. Most of the original structure remains today, giving the place an authentic rustic feel -- not kitchy, like so many other bed & breakfasts. The hostess is cheerful and charming, and more than happy to give you a tour of the grounds (including a tunnel in the basement that was part of the underground railroad!). For us, she made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies fresh upon arrival. We stayed in the Carriage House, which really is a bargain for the space. The two-story suite includes a fireplace, kitchenette, television, desk, couch, armchair, and small table with two chairs. This is in addition to an outdoor porch attached to the unit, and the beautiful upstairs bedroom (with air conditioning). Breakfast was delectable, made exactly to our preferences, and served on a screened-in porch overlooking the gardens. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! I'd definitely stay here again, and would absolutely recommend this to any couple looking for a quick getaway from Boston.

The house has wonderful character and charm and so much history. The fire was roaring when we arrived and the entire visit felt like a special getaway for us from work and the kids, even if it was only a few towns away. I would go just for breakfast if I could, homemade and delicious.
