My daughter was picked up from the airport by an older man in a minivan with a missing bumper. His van was full of trash and very scary. The entire ride.back to her dorm he was asking her very personal questions and kept telling her that she was very pretty. She is only 19 and was terrified the entire ride. She felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Being in a college town, you may want to vet out your drivers, especially if they are driving young college students around. read more

Got a cab from My Office 5 minutes from my home, left a 20% tip, and they called me and told me I was blacklisted from the service. I really appreciate College Cabs. My daughter flew home to Seattle for the weekend and when she flew back to Pullman, the flight was delayed a couple hours so there was no bus. Uber and Lyft were super busy and she started panicking that she couldn't get a ride back to campus. Found College Cabs and my daughter could book a ride to WSU. My daughter downloaded the app but it said cash for payment. I called was told they take cards too. The person I spoke to earlier even called to let me know my daughter was picked up. Bad service! I scheduled a cab for this morning to go to a bus stop so I can go home, they didn't show up. I called multiple times and no one answered the phone, the last time I called they hung up. I had to push my trip out because of them. I'm not thrilled. If you want a cab service that doesn't show up, makes you late, and aren't able to get to important places then I would sure recommend them for that! Otherwise, don't go through these people. I called College Cabs in Pullman, WA last night around 5:30pm and asked if I could reserve a cab for 10:30pm to get picked up outside of my daughter's sorority house near WSU and returned to my hotel. They confirmed they could do the pickup and confirmed my phone number to contact me in case of any unforeseen circumstances. I go to meet the cab at 10:15 and by 10:33 there's no cab. I call their number to confirm that someone is coming and get nothing but audio loop on the phone for ten minutes. There were no other cab companies available so I called my hotel (who recommended College Cabs) to see if they could help me and their recommendation was for me to ask a random stranger if they could give me a ride and I could venmo them. That seemed ludicrous to me so I opted to walk the 30 minutes back to the hotel at 11:00pm, 40'ish degrees by myself in areas outside of WSU area where there was no one but me walking in the dark. If I could give zero stars I would. Shame on you College Cabs. read more

Booked and confirmed using their app for a ride from the airport. Received a confirmation email. Arrived at nearly midnight to no cab, called the phone number and got a message that they were not available 24 hours because of covid. Abandoned at midnight alone at the airport without a ride. If you can't provide the service then don't confirm you will be there so people can make other arrangements. Or at least call your customer to cancel. Long discussions on the WSU parent social media pages about kids being stranded by prescheduled and confirmed College Cabs. Kids walking from the airport at midnight after no show cabs. Undependable is unacceptable in this situation. read more

I was a little anxious relying on a cab for a holiday weekend airport ride for 3:30 am. i called and scheduled the ride ahead and confirmed the day prior. Since this is such a small town, they are one of the few services available. They aren't the worst, however, their prices are very, very overpriced for the area, especially to and from the airport. It is cheaper to park at the airport instead. A member of my family had a flight to catch on Christmas Eve to come home. The fog was thick and the flight ended up being cancelled. They used the cab service to get to the airport and get back. The cab company took them there for $35 instead of the standard $30 and then turned around and charged them to take them back home. It was a $65 dollar trip (the return trip was "discounted" $5) that was no more than 7 miles. All on Christmas Eve. My family will no longer be using this service. read more

So I called a cab to take me to work , this lady named Kimberly picked me up . I gave her a 50 dollar bill and she said she only had 3 dollars change .. she claimed I gave her a 20. But I only had a single 50 dollar bill so there was no way I could have given her a 20. My roommate had given me half of his rent the previous day all in 50bills . There was no point in arguing with her so I took my three dollars and went to work. After work I called customer care and the person on the other end said they would follow up after a few hours , they never did. College cabs used to be my go-to service in Pullman, but for the past few months, their service has almost completely deteriorated. Months ago, we called a cab to get home from the hospital late at night, and the driver showed up late and definitely some sort of inebriated. He wound up dropping us off nearly a full mile from our destination after slurring out "is this good?" we wound up just walking the rest of the way since we were too scared to continue our ride anyways. Thank goodness the incident which sent us to the hospital in the first place was a hand injury, rather than anything having to do with the legs! In retrospect, that should have been when I left this review and abandoned the service, but I figured it was a fluke, sent a complaint about the driver, and tried to avoid hiring them again unless absolutely necessary. But this morning, I had an early morning flight, for which I had scheduled a cab ride with them almost 24 hours in advance. At the time of scheduling, they don't immediately assign you a driver, which is fine since I had always assumed they would at least hold the reservation -- since that's the entire point. However, this morning when it was time for the cab to arrive, I saw that they had, apparently, never reserved a cab to take me to the airport! And of course, for a 7AM Sunday flight, there were no Ubers of Lyfts in the area, so I was stranded. I understand that due to COVID, they can't guarantee 24 hour service; but for a booking made almost a full day in advance, it seems totally bizarre to me that they were unable to find a driver. I was treated like garbage. My driver swiped my card twice and it got declined, only because their crappy devices don't seem to work on new chipped cards. I knew I had plenty of money in my account. The driver acted as if I had conned him for a ride and seemed annoyed. Then later he leaves an insulting message on my phone telling me I had until 10am the next morning to pay the fare, or else my name would be put on their "strike" list. The next morning I called them for a ride downtown and this time I got their office manager who was driving. She told me that it was her who told the new driver how to respond to me. We get to my destination, and sure enough, their shitty card reader wouldn't work with my card. I had to make a trip to my ATM to get cash and took it to their office. College Cabs, you're fired. If you presume your riders are conning you for free rides (guilty until proven innocent) when it's your own damn crappy equipment, you needn't be in business. Update your card readers now. I've never had any problems with this cab company and I've been using them for the past month since my car can't handle this weather. Everyone has been friendly and I can tell that even when they're busy they try their best to get to me as quick as they can. They're great about texting me if they're running behind. 1 Stars is way too much. i'd give them nothing if i could. I called ahead of time, made a reservation at 2:30, 1 hour prior to my flight. I waited outside at 230 and noticed they were a little late, but decided to give them a little more time because I didnt want to rush them in the snow. I waited to 2:45ish and called them again to ask about my cab. I was unable to get anyone on the phone. I continued to call constantly and finally had someone pick up at 3:04. By then, my flight gate was already closed and no one around me was available to drive me to the airport at that time. Thanks to college cabs, I missed my flight, had to reschedule my flight, and I now have to go to a complete different airport in a different area to take my flight. I'm also barely arriving in time for my brothers graduation. College cabs, if you're going to do a job, at the very least, do it correctly. Thanks to college cabs, I had to waste 3 hours of my day talking to the airport reps to change my flight, and I have to travel an hour and a half just to get to my new airport. If you plan on getting a college cab, just dont. Find another way to get to your destination. Asking college cabs for a ride is the same thing as not getting a ride at all. read more

So its the holidays and everyone needs to catch their plane....website says $15 flat rate from WSU to the Pullman airport...well the driver sneakily charged my daughter and her 2 friends $15 PER Person.
