When someone pictures a great coffee shop in most other areas of the US, they get more different visions than what the Java Jar is. This is, in a way, its charm! It really feels like someone's tiny little kitchen got renovated into a cafe. It's cozy and the the service is always friendly the many times I've been there. I would have to agree that it may not be the cheapest place to get coffee, but that's fine with me. I'll pay a little extra to feel comfortable and welcome in this coffee shop.
