I've been seeing Dr. Allison since July and I actually had to see another dentist today because Dr. Allison is not able to put a temporary crown after several attempts without it falling off or breaking. Nor could Dr. Allison visually see that he put a defective crown in my mouth, nor could Dr. Allison see looking at the x-rays that I needed a root canal, nor could Dr. Allison see that the temporary he was putting on was too big and the wrong size. Dr. Allison has taken my money $$$ and has not returned it nor done the job he was hired to do. Dr. Allison has turned a two week job into four months of pain and suffering. I have lost complete confidence in Dr. Allison. Dr. Allison's secretary Michelle promised to call me back immediately on Wednesday 10-25-17, the latest Thursday 10-26-17 and neither Michelle or Dr. Allison has bothered to call me.

They said it was our responsibility to know when to schedule our appointments so they insisted on payment. We have been going there for seven years and this was the first time that this has happened. When I asked to speak to Dr. Colby directly the staff said he would not call us back. They also attempted to charge us for services above the contracted amount with Delta Dental which is not allowed by the carrier. A couple days after I asked to speak with Dr Colby, I received a letter in the mail, terminating their relationship with me.

I imagine a lot of people pass this place up because there's no fountain in the reception room or any ivory statues of Herculean men with heroic jaws to inspire confidence in the institution, but if you know what you want you can get it here. It'll be done well and it'll be done much cheaper than most places, and she wont try to scare you into buying services you don't need (something i've seen a lot of dentists do). The employees here were really nice and told me honestly how I may feel after my surgery. My sister, which was studying to be a dentist at the time, told me about another option. When I met Thimy, the oral surgery, I asked her about the other option my sister mentioned. She blew up on me. She did not let me talk and got defensive. She was trying to make herself sound experienced by telling me how many years shes been doing surgery and where she went to school. I dont care lady, I was just trying to ask you a question. She kept cutting me off. Bitch thinks she knows it all. I got more annoyed when she started to talk about how I looked and started touching my face. I just came in just for consultation but she kept insisting I do the surgery then and there. She also yelled at her employee in front of me for telling me how I may feel. I told her it was not her employee's fault and walked out. She came running after me to try to say things to make sure other customers in the waiting room could hear her explanation. That's not it. My sister borrowed an Xray and brought it back. The next time she came they claimed she never brought it back and charged her $25. This dentist will scrutinize your insurance and then convince you to have unnecessary procedures so that he can secure as much of your insurance money as possible. For example-he convinced us to redo an already existing crown that had no issues simply because it was old. I questioned him about it, and he admitted that it was not medically necessary. That was the last time my husband and I ever had anything to do with this office. Additionally, his skills are outdated and his equipment is antiquated. His skill level was discovered by my new dentist that was mortified at the quality of his work that she saw when she examined both my husband and my teeth. We have since found a competent dentist, and are astonished at the difference an actual modern, smart, kind dentist is actually like. It is entirely my fault that this happened to me and my husband. I should have been more diligent, less trusting, and more questioning. So sad that these days one can't find a dentist that has a professional staff/office to take care of of the office in general.
