I came here to watch a band called "Epsilon Eridani". Not only was the band awesome the place was beautiful inside. We only came for drinks so I can't comment on the food.. they do a lot of catering for weddings, sweet 16 etc. I would definitely consider this place. We recently had a work party on a Friday 1/10 and it was super NICE!!! The venue is beautiful the staff were super friendly and kind. The food was delicious and the drinks were even better. The space was very clean and neat. There is parking in the rear (Huge paid lot) which is perfect because NO ONE wants to drive around White Plains looking for parking. I've been here for several big celebrations, the higher end bar and bat Mitzvah, the middle of the road jamboree, and the less than middle of the road sort of chintzy fund raising event. Let me tell you this much, its loud, the acoustics stink, and the lighting never adequate. Walk into the bar and all staff was in their phone. The drinks are very high price to be in WP, and the music is too loud and not that good. The place is quite big and the location is not bad but I think it has poor management, with work and effort and a staff that is willing to serve instead of being on their phone I think this place can be a success. I have used Coliseum for all my family celebrations and special occasions. The managers Daniel and Josh are so professional and understanding. They help me with all my requests for my events and turned my vision into a reality . The food and the quality of service is by far the best in Westchester County. From the appetizers, the main course to the delicious desserts ! Not to mention the chocolate fountain ! Back in 2011 I had the pleasure of booking my baby shower at Colesium. All of my guests loved the place, the lights, the atmosphere and not to mention the food! So much for their diets! They all had an amazing time! Because we were extremely pleased with every detail from the first phone call to book our event to the moment we were leaving once the event was done..... we clearly knew this was a place we would always come back to. They had made us their lifetime customers! In 2013 my we went back and booked the event for my son's first birthday party! We are Albanians, we love to throw big , extravagant parties! Of course we love to eat and be entertained as well! Our party of 200 guests was a total hit! Our guests had such an amazing time ! The bar was a hit with the guys, the ladies loved ordering their special drinks too, the food was excellent, the children and the adults too of course loves the sweets! Formal complaint: Entrance to the teen events that are held need to be fair. My sons could be the first ones on line yet enter last because all females are let in first, followed by those who pay an extra $10 to be considered vip and yet still enter late. That system needs to be managed more fairly. My sons or others waiting shouldn't be standing outside any longer than they have to. In addition, security must check for valid ids prior to entering the premises. read more

I live right around the corner from this place, and wish it was a decent club, but its pathetic at best. The bouncers try to keep a line formed out front... really? This is White Plains, not Manhattan. $30 cover is reasonable for ultra clubs in nyc, this place doesn't warrant half of that. And, if it was great, I wouldn't mind a line or an expensive cover, but the drinks are TRULY watered down and the crowd is consistently thin. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. First of all, they charged a party of 40+ people over $100 each for appetizers that consisted of a slider and a mozzarella stick. The entree was 3 pieces of penne vodka and a piece of unknown chicken. When we first arrived, we were told to "walk around for 20 minutes" until they were able to let us in. I would never book this place for any kind of event and I would advise anyone who is thinking of doing so to not do it. If I could give this place less than a star I would. I am not normally comfortable in this type of setting, but I went for a friends birthday. This place proudly proclaimed it spent nearly half a million on renovations, and that its the new hot club in town. Sadly this money should have gone to marketing and promotions if it wants to survive. As if the White Plains crowd isn't already too much of a jersey shore wanna be casting audition. Coliseum flaunts its gelled hair roots right at the moment you walk in the door. Sorry, the moment after you fork over the $10-20 cover charge to get in. Although the atmosphere is very elegant, it tries too hard to be a Manhattan style Night club, getting most of its inspiration from places like Pascha. The problem is, its off the strip with next to no walk in traffic. Which means, more often than not. There are more people standing out side than actually inside the club. And those that make it inside, are not the most intelligent of individuals. And I am pretty sure most of them were international tourist oddly enough. Once you get in, the drinks are way over priced. And the music is too loud. What was being played sounded like I was at my cousins Bar Mitzvah on long island. And there is some guy sitting in the bathroom waiting on you to shake your junk off. So you can give him a tip. My only advice is to skip this place all together and have a better time on Mamaroneck Ave bar hopping and meeting people. read more

This place was hosting a performance by El Torito, a singer. They charged $60.00 per ticket for a performance that never took place. The performance was suppose to take place at 1 am, however waited till 2:30 and no one came. We asked to see a manager and were lied to and never got the money back. Rip off. The wost experience!I went with my husband to this place. we paid $30 per ticket. As soon we got inside we decided to leave. The music was horrible. There were no one to tell us if we can have a sit. I can't comment on the Coliseum as a night club because that was not our use of the facility. We had our daughter's Bat Mitzvah there, which I think is their main business (i.e. event venue) not money laundering...and for that, as an event venue, we LOVED it. Everyone had a great time and the place was BEAUTIFUL. the food was fantastic and everyone who attended commented on how good it was and how much food there was. Dan and Josh were both great, though we worked more with Josh after the initial decision to have the event there. I will forewarn all that it does, sometimes, take a while to hear back but if I indicated my question was urgent (when it really was) then I got a quick response. Josh was nice, patient, and never got tired of my questions and concerns. I was a little disappointed in the linens, since one of the selling points was that I would not need outside linen, but I did end up renting linen from elsewhere at the last minute. That was my only disappointment, though. Everything was just wonderful and all the staff were nice, attentive, and available. The Coliseum Club was pretty decent. The looks and feel to the club is a lot better now than before when it was called Prophecy. It's very spacious and the cover charge was $10, which is not that bad compared to before when it was $20 to get in. The crowd was ok (pretty empty) and the drinks weren't that bad, lucky for me I went with a bunch of friends so we had a good time in our group. Only issue I had was that the DJ kept playing one style of music (Grinding). I asked one of the workers to see if he can play at least one Spanish song (Bachata, Salsa, and Merengue) but they just OK'd me, turned around and just ignored my request. I asked one more time and they told me to come on Thursday night if I wanted Spanish. I find it funny because most of the crowd was Spanish and they were hardly dancing; they were probably waiting for Spanish songs too. So I give the DJ a B-, He had good English music (that my friends and I enjoyed) but he did not adapt to his surroundings and attempt to play some Spanish music. He had his playlist and he was not going to switch it up for nothing. I think that's why it was kind of empty there, he could have mixed it up and I would have given the club a 4 star. Towards the end of the night I was just tired of bumping and grinding so we left at 245 to call it a night. If this place was on the White Plains strip there would be so much business. It is one of the only clubs in White Plains with a legitament dance floor. The clients here are decent to very scuzzy. My mother hosted my bridal shower here this past weekend. I had an amazing time! The food was delicious and the decor was perfect for a bridal shower...white and elegant. Wow talk about the worst party event planner in the world...Dan was less than helpful in helping me to choose this venue for my daughters party. She tried to really sell me the place but nothing can make me go over my budget when your not even trying to make me happy. Might I add that Dan was even offensive in her suggestions as alternative venue for my party since she was less than willing to work within my budget. She suggested i take my party to McDonalds REALLY that's how you speak to someone who has a budget of over $5,000. Thanks Dan!! $20 cover charge for an empty venue with VIP couches and no VIPs. Wanted my money back as soon as the door opened and I saw it was empty. As a female, $20 cover charge on a regular Saturday night is steep for a cheesy bar with one floor. Inside is nice but don't let that fool you, the establishment that was there prior to he change was a lot more fun cover charge or not. What a horrible place! Took my wife there for drinks and dinner. Food is LOUSY at best. McDonald's serves much better food. Service was slow and rude. There was a LOUD party going on in the back -- bunch of teenagers running around -- and we couldn't have a normal conversation. And the kids (must have been a sweet 16 party) were roaming through the restaurant being loud and obnoxious. How are 16 year-olds allowed in a place serving alcohol? Asked the manager if he could keep them in the back and he said "go with it". He was a sleaze ball. We'll go with it, go to another place. Don't go here unless you want to be annoyed and angry. And don't let your teenagers go there either. They shouldn't be in a place when alcohol is being served. This place should be on the WP Police watch list. read more
