I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. I recently received a water bill that was 4x the prior month, with not add'l water usage. I called CPS and the very next day they sent Luke and Jared out to test for leaks. The guys could have jumped straight into a more expense test with the main box, but instead they were methodically, went water device by water device (ie, sinks, faucets, washing machine, each toilet to see if any of those were leaking - also finding the fittings to my toilets were original to the 1983 house (which I had them replace - for a reasonable price). The last test proved (we hope - haven't' received a bill yet) was a leaky toilet. Yet they went ahead and then tested the main controller, first the house then the irrigation system. Fortunately, no pressure change - so all was good (whew!). Best of all Luke explained all the way through what he was doing and spoke in a way I could understand what he was doing. They cut numerous holes in our walls and still failed to restore proper plumbing. Instead, they bypassed and canceled two manifolds, which resulted in no hot water to our kitchen and laundry room (documented). When they returned to "fix" the problem, they made things worse by creating dead‑end lines, causing hot‑water circulation issues throughout the house and leaving multiple areas with only lukewarm water. They then attempted to charge us an additional $800 for this. After multiple follow‑ups and excuses (all documented), the company ultimately stopped responding altogether. We were forced to hire a licensed plumber to correct their work by running new lines to our kitchen and laundry room. I feared a slab leak, which I've had before. Jason showed up and within 10 minutes had pinpointed where the leak was. It was on the line between my sink and tub in the master bathroom. We talked about a reroute or digging, but since I planned on renovating this bathroom in a few months anyway, he helped me out and capped off the lines which ran underground and eliminated the leak! I called to set an appointment for the next day and was told 13:00 would be the time. The next morning I receive a text from a dispatch rep and they indicated that my appointment was not listed and we would need to reschedule. Obviously I was upset as I arranged to work from home to accommodate the time and I thought everything was in order, but it wasn't. So Denise and the team booked me for a 10:30 AM start the following day and we were visited by two gentlemen, the lead plumber was Zak, who were outstanding. Denise also made to right as the confusion of not have another day without a kitchen sink was on her. She apologized and really made it right, beyond my expectations. Zac and the other plumber were wearing masks to protect myself and my wife and booties to protect our floors. We had a Grohe kitchen faucet that was about 10 years old, from previous owners, and getting it off the kitchen counter was way more complicated then it needed to be due to the way it had been installed and its age. They plumbers installed the new faucet in less then 20 minutes but it took 1.5 hours to get the old one out. The new faucet is working very well and we couldn't be happier. It was a rough beginning but the My Local Plumber team really made it right. We will absolutely look to them for future plumb work.
