I was greeted immediately when I walked in and was helped. The guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable and walked me around helping me find the perfect gun. After choosing they walked me through the paperwork and made sure I understood everything. Came back 3 days later picked up my gun and again was greeted immediately and they also spent time letting me look at a few other pieces before I left. Top notch staff. ****DO NOT USE THIS GUN SHOP**** I called to complete an FFL and an older lady answered and I asked "If they can check if they received the email from the other Gun Shop for the FFL." The unnamed older lady responded by yelling at me and stated, "We don't do respond immediately and check, I have a store full of customers!!!" I responded "I apologize I don't know your rules." She stated "It's NOT RULES IT'S COMMON COURTESY!" I've never received such rude and inappropriate feedback from an establishment like I did with her. The appropriate response to a buying customer would have been as follows: Hello, responding to customer with the general timeframe for FFL email confirmations and advice with a cheerful attitude. It's not my job to know the rules for your business and if you are miserable at your job, I would hope you would find another establishment to work for, as I am a business owner...I would not employ her! This caused me to not process the transfer and I intended to purchase another firearm and ammunition when I picked up my FFL transfer, for my home protection. It's also important not to treat people unkindly or dismissive. I sure hope she is not the owner of the business! Additionally, I would have posted no stars if that was an option. read more

Have not been in the shop before, however, i made a call requesting a specific glock available in blue label.they did not have it in stock which is understandable, but staff did seem to have no desire to help.. it was as if they dont mind if you order it elsewhere, I love supporting local shops but it isnt worth the time if they dont care about the customers needs. All he had to do was make an effort to order it (which i know they dont have an issue doing) or take my number for when one comes in..i know how it is but jeez, make an effort. if i ever stop by the shop, i will make an updated review, but it seems to me the prior reviews of these employees customer service issues is valid. You be the judge and jury... My wife was charged ($66.95) for 50 rounds of PPU 50 rounds jacketed hollow points. PPU scores in the bottom tier of 10mm ammo in (FPS). Underwood ammo which scored in the top 2 ammo company, sells 180 grain jacketed hollow points in 20 round boxes for ($18.50) SKU# 244. So ($37.00) for 40 rounds. Definitely a issue in ammo prices at this gun shop. You decide! read more

The worst gun shop ever. Had to cancel my order do to a mix up with approval from the State of Florida would take 3 weeks to clear up my approval. I never took the guns out of the store, didn't even touch one of the guns. Yet they charged me a 25% restocking charge. I own 3 business & have never seen such a poor run business. My all-time favorite gun shop. There are closer shops near me but this one was worth the drive. The staff and owner are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I was shopping for my first AR15 and was on the fence with several brands, Elliott was the one who took his time to explain the differences between each rifle and he did a great job helping me to make the right decision for me. He also helped me find multiple options for this gun too which again was perfect for me. The owner Barbara is the best in the business and nicest person you could meet very knowledgeable as well. The other staff is just as phenomenal and a got to give a thanks to both Ricky and Carl as well as they helped to answer 100s of questions my young son had while I was busy with Elliott.....just a great place to shop for a gun and shop for gun accessories. Decent gun shop. Ed the shop smith is very very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They have a decent selection of sigs primarily and then plenty of others to OoO and ahh at and a ok selection or long guns. Gun prices were competitive bit on the high end mags and clips still priced like they were during the shortage... Their bench price is $85 an hour and I found out that you minimally have to buy an hour.... Was pretty expensive to get a muzzle break times right. But we ended up Doing a full breakdown so I can send my gun out for hydro dipping. Other than that it is a guys guns shop. Bunch of buds sitting around talking trash telling stories. But that's ok always enjoy perusing what's in the store. read more

The owner is extremely rude. My mom called her shop to ask about a gun my uncle said just came out that would be easier to handle for women who are petite with smaller hands like my mom. When my mom asked about that gun and described the gun as such, the woman got an attitude with her and said that all guns are made for men and women to handle the same. My mom tried to continue to ask her about the gun and all she did was cut her off every time she tried to speak, said she was the owner and knows all about the guns in her shop. Vile. read more

I've been using Coles for over 20 years. They are all extremely knowledgeable and have very fair pricing. The gunsmiths know their stuff and I trust them with my guns. Those complaining about time in shop may have dropped their guns off right before hunting season and expected overnight service. My AR repair ran 7 days...very fair. read more

Really nice store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good selection of all kinds of guns and even a few knives. If they don't have it they will try and get it for you. Just bought a specific gun which they had to order for me. I had it in my hands within four working days and I wound up paying less out the door than I could have found it anywhere else, including Gunbroker or Cheaper Than Dirt! Minor downsides include the questionable area their store is located in and the fact that it is very much a "man's" store and would not appeal to most female customers. I would compare it to a local hole-in-the-wall garage: grungy and to the point but with good, honest employees who will give you a fair deal. read more

Coles is a great gun shop with the owner "Tiny" and sales associates. The manager Jeff is not customer friendly however. Jeff is abrupt, impatient , rude and unprofessional. Jeff seems to dislike his job or the public in general. If you avoid Jeff and ask for Cliff or anyone else you will have a great informational and purchase experience!! High prices and not very friendly. Was quoted $40 high for an LE Pistol that sells for $359. When I mention purchasing from Internet they try to convince me that shipping and FFL transfer will add another $100 to the price. When I mention that I've never paid more than $30 to ship a hand gun they rudely say maybe you should shop somewhere else! No negotiating here. You pay their price or get out! Had to bring one back to them to send back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement and was basically treated with indifference at best and rudely at worst. Find another shop, I took a 22 rifle in to have a front peep sight replaced and was charged $100.00. I later found the sight on Amazon for 9.09. It must have taken them less than 5 minutes to install the sight. When I took it in the salesman estimated between 40 and 50 dollars.
