* Coleman moved us to another state, storing our possessions until our home was ready. * We gave 15 days' notice for our 2nd move, more than what was required. * Moving day at 11 am I called asking for an update & was told the driver was "looking for a crew" * About an hour later the driver called, confirming our address on a military base in a completely different state, not ours. * Two men arrived in a broken-down Penske truck with a broken lift gate - NOT a Coleman or Allied truck. * Because they were short one worker, I (the customer) was tasked with noting the Coleman box numbers as they entered the house * I packed all of our possessions except for lamps, lamp shades and 2 TVs, which we paid Coleman to pack. * Everything Coleman packed was damaged beyond repair except for 1 TV. * 2 floor lamps and other items were also severely damaged. * Two bedroom pieces and ALL of our living room furniture were damaged. * Our hand truck was never found. * Screws, rods, etc. for our desk and a shelving unit were missing. * 2 bed frames were not assembled properly (UNSAFE) and a support bar was hidden under the bed. The mattresses were placed on top of the frames so we were not aware of this until the next day! * The lead worker was nasty, unprofessional, rude and lied to us about several things! The Claims process: o The next day I filed a claim. o About 2 weeks later I received a letter from the claims adjuster introducing herself & inviting me to call with questions. Her letter gave no specifics about the process, timeframes, etc. o I immediately emailed her, NEVER receiving a response. o Over the 3-month process, I called her 5 times and sent 3 emails receiving NO response. She eventually contacted me by email stating that my claim was settled & a check was in the mail. The info was WRONG. It took an additional 2 weeks for a resolution. o This claims adjuster was unprofessional, uncaring and lazy. o One positive thing to note was the (third party) restoration company who repaired our furniture was very professional and did an excellent job. This experience was emotionally and financially exhausting. And these are only the highlights. Coleman WW Moving Company is unprofessional, uncaring, and does shoddy work. We downsized and only moved the items that were important to us. And many of these items were destroyed thanks to Coleman Movers! The unprofessional, lazy, uncaring, dismissive way I was treated by the claims adjuster was equally shameful. People need to know how bad Coleman movers are. I hope by sharing our experience with this company that something can be done so they do not treat others the way we were treated. I was also told by the driver that Coleman does a lot of military moves. Our tax $$$ should not be spent on a company who treats people and their belongings so badly! The government must find another mover! When you call Coleman their on-hold recording makes them sound like a very caring, family- owned business that understands the stress of moving and makes it as easy as possible for you throughout the process. IT'S LIKE LEGAL VANDALISM!!! If if didn't happen to me, I wouldn't believe it. I paid 7K to pack up my home. Upon request of my items to be put back in the home they deliver about 75% in pieces. Envision this: They bring remnants of your stuff. You want to sit your returned power sofa with no sofa back which you can not recline due to no power supply and no back. Try to watch your TV with no TV plug for power to listen from your soundbar with no cord as you put your feet on your topless coffee table. So you decide to lie down but cannot as your bedframe in one room has missing legs and your other bed has missing power supply cords and a broken support. So you get up to look in a mirror you don't have, nor photos or paintings which never were delivered. You ask Alexa to remind me to call Allied, but wait, all the electronics are missing. So you go sit at the dining room table which is missing a top. So you put your coffee mug on the base of said table and walk to the coffee pot which, oh wait, is missing. You call Allied who acknowledges 20+ missing boxes and a sectional with pieces and parts they can't find. Then, they say "oh, we found another piece of your sofa but not the 24 missing boxes and need a another $3.500 cashiers check before we deliver JUST the sofa portion." They cannot find ANY of your cables, furniture feet, screws, cords, electronics, lamps, shelving, etc. leaving you with a vandalized house. They state "we packed it and delivered pieces and parts but you have to file an insurance claim as they rendered 99% of the home useless. Truly unscrupulous. Even the General Manager had no answers. Now they want more money saying "even though we didn't bring back your stuff, you still owe us." I'm glad they didn't pack my car... I'd have a returned chassis, no seats and one tire and no engine. If I could give zero stars I would. My house hold goods shipment was supposed to be delivered June 27 and it wasn't. When I called they said it would have to be delivered on August 1st. So I waited until August and I called the company to see where my shipment was at and they said they had misplaced my shipment and they are trying to find it. How do you miss placed someone stuff that has been there for two months sitting in a warehouse. do not trust this company they are extremely unprofessional. The keep transferring to the wrong people to avoid talking they never answer the phone and always put the blame on someone one else if you have them for a military move call your DMO and get a new company. Now I have to wait again and they won't even answer their phone to give me an update keep telling me that they will call in a bit so I wait and wait but nothing. read more

This company was the worst ever after 13+ years of military service resulting in several moves. On top of everything they lost and damaged, the movers dropped a dryer on the side of the house leaving damages to the hardie board siding and the dryer. Check your inventory before they leave your house of origin. Every item, despite age and condition, the movers marked scratched, even items that were brand new with tags still on them. Unprofessional employees cussed out my new neighbors during the unpacking. Please ask DMO or your base's relocation office to pick ANOTHER company. It will be worth the wait. This has been one of the most disappointing experiences during my career. read more

Pros: Personable staff, little damage to my stuff. Cons: 1. Hundreds of dollars in surcharges they specifically denied twice that I would be charged 2. Late, late, late. Came 90 minutes late, waited an hour for correct paperwork to arrive; waited another hour because failed to bring enough packing supplies 3. Lost my inventory list (this created hours of extra work since by then they had all my stuff) 4. Promised delivery to my home of my vehicle--at the company at the destination NEVER delivers cars--so another misrepresentation. 5. Paid $7,000+ for my move, expect no mistakes as I check and double check EVERYTHING VIA EMAIL PRIOR--they refused to resolve all these complaints although they did not deny that I was misled by THEIR staff read more
