It happens to the best of us. I had to grab my items from my friend's car, and after retrieving them, I couldn't find my friend's car key... Secured Lock was one of the very few ones that had base access. The person on the phone was very friendly and willing to help, and most importantly VERY quick and responsive. The person who showed up to open the car and make the key was AWESOME too! Upon explaining the situation, he opened the car so I could look for the key to decide if we need to make the new key. I ended up having to make a new car key, but he was so professional and good at what he does. My one key to my Toyota Prius was literally flushed down the drain. When I called the dealership, the price they quoted to replace the key was just insane, not to mention, I would have had to get my car towed to the dealership in order for them to program it! Secured Lock didn't have a replacement key for my car on hand, but they ordered one express delivery and kept me updated. It wasn't even two hours after they had my replacement in hand key that they had been to my apartment and programmed the key. I was so upset when my key got flushed, I was crying and dreading the process of having to deal with getting a replacement. Secured lock does outstanding work at an affordable price. Only complaint is the business hours posted on the front of their store doesn't match the business hours given on their web page. So if your going to be driving to secured lock you may want to call ahead first, to ensure their open. Other than that, Secured Lock does good work. read more

Because I was too far away to be of any assistance in person, I jumped on the task of navigating websites and calling area locksmiths to find one willing to help after hours. I think I tried two companies that proclaimed 24 hour service and struck out both times before reaching Jesse at Secured Lock. He immediately sounded friendly and knowledgeable of both the task at hand and the area as I explained the situation and my relation to it. He gave me a (better?) phone number to pass along to my friend and advised he could be there within 1-2 hours, based on both locations. When Friend called him she was just as pleased and hopeful with how the conversation went as I had been. Jesse was there in just under 45 minutes. She said he couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating and she felt 100% safe allowing him to provide this service. You would never have known it was just before midnight on Christmas Eve-Eve. This is by far the best security company I have ever worked with. I called Dan and his guys out to do a simple re-key when I bought my house last year and was shocked that they were able to send someone out a day later (on a Saturday). Since then we have upgraded to remote locks, a full security system with motion detectors and smart doorbell, and a full exterior camera system. Not only were they able to scale all of their systems and monitoring to meet my exact requests but the installation and monthly monitoring fees are very reasonable. The continued customer service after installation is also second to none. My lovely husband went swimming with his video camera and the car keys in his pockets. Needless to say he lost everything in the water. I was not too happy!! I locked my keys in the car, but I have a pad key lock on the side though. I think it got wet during the storm we had yesterday. Maybe my 1997 Mercury is just getting to old.
