Took my truck in to have repaired, they kept 3 days. When I got it back and a 500.00 dollar bill,…read moreIt wasn't repaired. After I questioned them about the repair they stated that I possibly had a stuck or burnt valve and they would have to tear into the engine and charge me aver 500.00 to do that. Why would anyone do that after they already charged me 500.00 and did nothing. They claim they can read the diagnostics on the truck. I had diagnostics done on the truck done by a mobile mechanic, he pinpointed the problem within 15 minutes and set about to repair it. So please if you have a problem with your ride don't take it to Get It Gone in Oakland, because they don't know what they are doing. Biggest joke for a repair shop I have ever seen.

Daniel explained everything to me that was wrong with my truck, and then guided me to make an informed decision on what course to take. He recommended a course of action that not only saved me money In the long run, but accomplishes what I needed anyway (replace only one coil instead of all eight). I will definitely be back and take my other vehicles for all my routine servicing.

I recently took my mom's 2019 Ford Explorer (3.5L V6) to Leo's Service Center for an internal water…read morepump replacement. Anyone familiar with this repair knows it is a massive, labor-intensive teardown that can easily cost a fortune. After calling around to several well-known shops in the area, Leo offered by far the best price. My family has used Leo for years and sworn by his work, and now I completely understand why. Leo is an honest, patient, and genuinely good man who clearly takes immense pride in what he does. Knowing the vehicle's mileage, he proactively planned out the job to replace critical wear items while the engine was already apart, essentially building a full tune-up into his original quote rather than cutting corners. Midway through the teardown, he spotted a broken engine mount and immediately called to verify before replacing it. When I arrived to pick up the Explorer, there were zero surprises on the final bill. Finding a mechanic who combines top-tier craftsmanship, complete transparency, and unbeatable pricing on major engine work is rare. Leo does not rely on the dirty tricks people often fear in the auto industry; he earns repeat business simply by doing the job right the first time. This was my first time working with Leo, but he has earned a customer for life. I cannot recommend Leo's Service Center highly enough.

Also, most of the wires and hoses were disconnected. We had to purchase new hardware in addition to the new water pump and timing belt. Very poor and expensive quote. We will never use them again.

I was told that my tire that was removed so my new tire could be put on my car has disappeared. When i know it was there initially because the installer came to me and explained it was a directional tire and couldnt be put on the other side rear location. It was 6 months old and in great shape. i was told it wasn't there after they say they searched for it. to try and rectify the situation she gave me a 4 year old tire that's not even the same size as the rest of the tires on the car . If this is the way this place does business it's unprofessional and unethical. Susan Baker

Called Wanda owner who said her driver called me and apologized what more do I want. She was rude, talked over me and with this being the 2nd issue with her staff and costing me at minimum another 4 days of car rental she didn't care. They got their full amount of money and don't care what service they provide their customer's. Poor excuse for a business. UPDATE- Lynn showed up at my house unannounced instead of mailing it back to me. She was rude and had an attitude. And why is any company employee just showing up at a customers house unannounced like this!? So unprofessional an to be blunt with her attitude makes me feel unsafe just showing up like that out of the blue. Call for tow and they do not advise you they prefer cash or check and will charge a credit card fee. Lynn said she was too busy to advise that when we spoke on the phone to setup the tow. Even though I asked do I pay you over phone with credit card or do I need to pay the driver with credit card, check or cash. Lynn advised pay the driver and that was all she said. Even when I called back to ask why Lynn didn't advise I would be charged a fee Lynn just said she was busy. The driver didn't advise there was a credit card fee until after he ran the credit card and handed the receipt back. I called back and asked for a manger to call me and Lynn is mailing me the fee back but her tone of voice, she was condescending and had an attitude. It's not the point of the fee it's that no one told me beforehand I would be charged the fee and her attitude while talking to me. Poor customer service. Do better!
