Dr. Paul and his assistant coordinated a thorough examination, the best I've ever experienced, and I was finished very quickly. I mistakenly left my contact lenses and case behind and it was discarded for hygiene reasons. The front desk was more than accommodating as they offered me a new case, solution and a trial pair of lenses to replace those discarded. Superb service. I was seen at the appointed time. The technician, I don't recall her name, she asked a few questions and took notes, and began the preliminary procedures for the doctor. Sanitizing the equipment and wearing PPE. The opthamologist, Dr. Scheer, came into the examination room a few minutes after the technician was finished. The Dr continued with certain tests and measurements. Then went over the prognosis, suggesting corrective procedures to be done in the near future. I feel I was with the doctor, a sufficient amount of time; informed of what was to be done and a follow up appointment made next month. The office runs in a very efficient manner. They are considerate of the patient's time, informing the patient, in plain English, what the condition is, the prognosis, and treatment, if needed, The front office submits Medicare approved amounts for treatments, as well as Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, Anthem medical Coverage. Some patients may have copay's depending on their plan. It's a joy, and relief to be able to see an operation that runs smoothly and efficiently.

Tom Ford blue light blocking glass looked like a great pair of glasses. The demo had these light…read moreblue lenses designed to help you see at night. $850. What I got were frames that didn't fit and lenses that were not blue at all. They said the frames you try on are the ones you get and the lenses are changed out for the ones with the prescription lens and they do have "the best anti-reflective coating." But these don't fit. The ones I tried on first fit and were comfortable. Well maybe they tightened them up when they put the lenses in. To be fair they offered to replace them with another pair. At that point steam must have been coming out of my ears. I felt like a clown with kids glasses on they gave me a headache. She actually said if you hold them up just right you can see some blue. They look great on you. Again I wasn't buying it. They did refund me. It still didn't feel right. After this ordeal I went up to LensCrafters and did the exam again. I was so glad I did. They have up to date machines, it was completely different, like night and day. Three additional high tech machines aided in there diagnoses. When I compare prescriptions there completely different. Not even close, is that malpractice or incompetence. High tech vs old antiquated. Karen at Homer Rich refused to return my older frames until I met with the doctor to sign papers for them to terminate the customer patient relationship. That's fine like Karen said to me with all the things going on in the world I shouldn't get upset over this. But it did. It upset me a lot, so I went somewhere else and they were great. Thank you Karen for your 20 years service sorry it had to end this way.
