The Jon Wayne Heating and Air quote for a new Train unit was right in line with one other companies quote for the same equipment. I am a real researcher before a big purchase kind of guy, so I pretty much knew what I needed and the brands that were going to meet those needs before I even had one guy out. All that was left was convincing me who to use. The third company tried to sell me on a unit I didn't want so was out of the running right there. I was pleased that all of the different companies were similar in prices, but Jon Wayne Heating came recommended from a friend who used to work in the business. The owner himself came out, and I didn't feel like I just had some slick salesman working me over. He listened to my questions and was able answer them immediately and took the time to go over everything in detail. They also handled any City Utilities tax breaks and Train rebates so I didn't have to worry about that. On the day of the install the guys came out on time, were thoroughly professional and had the new system up and running without any issues. Before they left I inspected everything closely myself and asked a few questions which they were happy to answer. I have a great new system installed at a more than reasonable price in my opinion but to be honest the big selling point wasn't the price, it was the professionalism of the company that won me over.

I'm not sure the guys name, but this is the second time my home warranty sent this guy out with…read morethis company and the second time it got mis diagnosed or he couldn't get it, so they would've needed to come back out, which the home warranty was not going to cover. The first time he came out, it was for my water heater. I knew that's what was wrong with it, but he didn't have the tool to check it, so he said I needed all new pipes. Obviously the warranty wouldn't cover that, so I called for a second opinion and thank goodness I did, cuz it was in fact the water heater. This time around, my pipes are clogged and he only had a 30ft snake or whatever he used, so he "couldn't" clear the clog. They called the home warranty to get approved for a bigger machine and/or to cut the pipe after finding the clog. He told home warranty there was grass and woodchips in there, so cuz that's a "foreign object", it wouldn't get covered so they would want me paying out of pocket. I called for a second opinion and the same guy that came out last time for the water heater, came out and cleared my pipe in a half hour. He did not see any woodchips and/or grass. This guy is a joke and does not know what he's doing. I don't like really leaving reviews, but cuz this is the second time with this company/guy...I feel like they are a dirty company and cuz the home warranty will only cover so much, they would rather the warranty not cover so they can charge you a heck of a lot more. I will make sure my home warranty never chooses this company again if I need work done!
