Cold Stone in Wasilla is our go to ice cream treat. The ice cream is great and the selection of options allow you to create your hearts desire. U select the flavors, cup or waffle cones and add-ons or you can choose one of the many combinations that they have posted on the walls. Each month they have at least two special flavors with ingredients to choose from. They have a showcase with 12 different flavors and you can select one or more flavors or the listed combinations. The ice cream is rich, creamy and firm when served but be careful as it melts very fast. I have never seen ice cream that melted that fast except in burning hot climates. If you're picking them up to take home be sure to have a container to put them in unless you like to wear the ice cream. Even the cups with plastic lids will leak. The service varies by the amount of customers standing inline. The servers are always friendly and as efficient as possible. There is limited seating available so most is choose and carry or home delivery. Never have we tried home delivery because I am little Leary of the melt factor and time to deliver. They have a small selection of ice cream cakes, cup cakes and frozen treats in a glass refrigerator in front. I have had their cakes, cupcakes and some of the treats. They are very good but pricy. You pay for the work the staff has to do to make them. They have a loyalty program that you earn points and discounts on your purchase price. If you patronize them and sign up for text messages it can be very worthwhile. Parking is not a problem usually and it is free in shopping center lot. I highly recommend Cold Stone for the quality and price of their products and services. They accept card cards, cash and have a single bathroom used by all customers. read more

The young girl who was clearly New working on Sunday evening the 29th at around 5 PM.... Needs some training. I ordered a love it size and the ice cream didn't even come up to the top of the container. Way smaller than that portion has been any other time I've come to your establishment. Additionally, she missed out on several of the toppings and when I went to enter my phone number into the Little kiosk, it took my phone number, but she said that she also had to enter my phone number. read more

Rally good ice cream, and have some amazing ice cream cakes. This place has some of the best smoothies and milk shakes.

I really have nothing bad to say about cold stone, but they hire very young ignorant kids. They have great ice cream, a little pricey, but good ice creams and sorbets. They tend to take forever as well when there is a line. All in all good ice creams! read more

Very poor customer service gets zero stars, the ice cream gets 5 stars, the outrageous prices 2 stars. Add ons cost $.89, which could be a few sprinkles or half dozen chocolate chips. The ice cream itself is delicious. The teenagers that work here are disinterested and at times rude. Service is very slow. If I'm spending $6-10 for a single cup of ice cream I expect way more. Skip this place and just buy Ben and jerrys at the grocery store. read more

you know... i'll be honest. i had come here once. and it was about 3 years ago. but when i was browsing business that i remembered visiting when i was working up in wasilla, this one stuck out. the service was crap. it was two or three teenage kids who didn't want to be there, were ready to be off, or just hadn't learned how to be yet. or a combination of all of the above. two stars, though, for the ice cream... can't have TOO high of expectations for an ice cream parlor, i guess. read more

Not a "treat" to go to. . As someone who LOVES Cold Stone, and have been a customer for many years at many locations, I can honestly say the Wasilla Cold Stone is the WORST place to have ice cream. I am not someone to write reviews or speak my opinion very often but something needs to be said.. Every single employee hates their job, Rolls their eyes at customers when they come in, and never greets customers with a smile. I have been to this location multiple times and each time has been a disaster.. .. As a business owner myself, I would be firing every single employee in the place. Also, NEVER go after 8pm, because the employees will just slap the ice cream in the bowl, without barely mixing them on the "cold stone", Only one person will be working, while the others are too busy trying to close on time.. "CUSTOMERS COME FIRST! You are an ice cream store that is open late, so expect people to come in after dinner.. People come to cold stone for a great family experience and by the time the last person receives their ice cream, the rest of them are finished eating due to the fact that they have some rule that only allows one worker to help an entire group. Don't bother tipping for a song, or to thank them for their awful service, they NEVER say thank you. Granted, the Ice cream itself deserves 5 stars, but when you receive awful service, that ruins it for me. Every time I go, there is a huge line, and every customer comes in smiling, ends up standing in line forever, and looks at each other wondering what ruined the employees days. I hope that this review helps, because since this is the only ice cream place that is open late in town, I will be going back, but hopefully things will change and It will be a better experience for all. read more
