Very crowded. Ice cream was good, workers were not particularly friendly and served customers without much conversation.

We went in tonight with our family at 8:30 PM. All the chairs were put up onto the tables so I asked if we could put some down so we could eat there, the girl (young blonde) working said no. I asked why and she said because they had started "pre-closing" already and they were closing soon. I asked what time they closed and she said 10 o'clock, I asked "an hour and a half from now?" She said yes. She said if she takes the chairs down, people will think they're still open and more people will come in (an hour and 1/2 before they close!) I was shocked because it was an hour and a half until closing, and we couldn't take chairs down to sit and eat our ice cream. We were super disappointed and we had to go next door and sit outside by the movie theater. Really bad service. read more

Reviews tend to forget many of the employees are Highschool and or college students. They rotate out very often, however for the most part I've had great service, even on extremely busy summer days. We love Cold Stone. Never had a bad flavor. So when it came time for my daughter's birthday, she wanted to make a custom icecream cake. $50 for a small cake. When we got it , the decorating was so bad! It was embarrassing to serve. My daughter said "I would never sell something that looks like this". The writing was unreadable. For 50 bucks you think you should be able to read a simple message on cake. Also, mix-ins were very scant and there was no fudge in the middle. Very disappointing. Date and time: 3/28, 9:30PM, 4 employees working. Not busy. 3 people were checking out when we walked in and 2 people were seated at one table. During the 30 min we were there, our group of 3 were served, another group of 3 came in and 1 delivery driver. 1. Ice cream: A 2. Cleanliness: C- 3. Service: F We were greeted upon walking in, but then stood there for 10 min while the staff chatted to each other before taking our order. During this time, I noticed how filthy the store was- napkins all over the floor, tables not wiped, the ice cream counter and ice cream freezer had drips of ice cream all over. The glass on both the outside and inside was filthy. The dirty spoon container overflowed. We finally place our order with a person that never smiled once. The cashier was super friendly and trying. The 2 people at the table left during this time, leaving all 4 tables empty at 9:40pm. It was now 9:45p and the door advertised they closed at 11pm. We planned to eat there and when we turned around after paying 9:45p), an employee named MAYA was "cleaning the tables" with window cleaner and then putting the chairs up so you couldn't sit on them. When I asked if we could sit down, she rudely told me she "was cleaning the tables". I was so confused because the chairs were on the tables. I then said "Are you closing? I thought your sign says you are open until 11p and it's 9:45" . She told me they close at 11 but the dining room closes at 10. Huh? I said "is there a sign that says that? And great, since it's 9:45p, that shouldn't be an issue, right ? We would like to sit down.". She was so incredibly rude and told me no. I pushed back and then she finally said "fine! If you need to, I guess". No smile, we took the chairs down on the one table. All others remained up. No customer service. She then went and quickly and terribly wiped the outside of the glass ice cream center and then walked in the back. During the next 20 min, nobody ever cleaned the floor or the counters. It remained filthy. And all the other employees just sat back and said nothing as their coworker was so incredibly rude. For a store who proudly displays their mission statement at the counter about customer service and amazing cleanliness, I can't help but laugh... and to MAYA, don't forget that it is the customers that write your paycheck. Without them, you have no job, To whoever was managing your store tonight, you should be fired for allowing your store to be that dirty and for sitting back and not doing anything as your employee is literally telling people they don't want their business. read more

Came in around 8pm Friday 3/28 and it was PACKED, just came to visit a best friend in AZ and we went to catch a movie. After the movie we went to Cold Stone and it was crazy busy but everyone who was working was doing fantastic - I learned that two of them were training, you wouldn't think that right off the bat. They are reasonably priced and normally do something fun if you leave a tip. I dont give 5 stars as this last experience was odd. I asked for a rocky road ice cream. Lady looks at the sign (one that has all their specialties) she said she had lever heard if it and it wasn't on the sign. I was shocked.. never heard of Rocky road??? Ok, no big deal. I tell her that is fine it is chocolate icecream, marshmallow and peanuts. (I meant almonds) lady says they don't have peanuts.. I said oh, good I meant almonds, you have them right there. Easy peasy right? No. The girl told me she wasn6sure if she could make it and needed to ask her manager... her manager of course said she could and confirmed it was chocolate, marshmallows, and almonds... Workers are rude to delivery drivers and BEWARE: 50% OF THE TIME they have to substitute or ask us to replace the ice creams NEEDED FOR THEIR OWN SIGNATURE FLAVORS. Or popular ones in general. I come here frequently as both a customer and a DoorDasher, I have had my share in customer service when I was 17 and I'm surprised there are still as many up and about people in food service despite all the horrible customers. Cold Stone has the best cheesecake fantasy ice cream ever more so for the amazing customer service during the day, at night it gets super busy so if you want good service and good ice cream- DON'T FOLLOW A CROWD- go during odd times to save yourself the line and get your favorite dessert right away with a kind face. read more

Ordered a cake on a Tuesday to pick up on Saturday and they call Friday afternoon to tell me they don't have the midnight delight cake that was paid for and ordered on Tuesday morning. The male employee that was waiting on customers had a mask and gloves on but, no hair covering. His hair hung over his whole face couldn't see his eyes. He was making orders with his hair hanging over the the stone and food. He proceeded to take and return cash with gloves on and never changed them for the next two customers who also paid in cash. Wow, went into coldstone creamery after a movie so my girls could get an ice cream it was 10 mins before closing and the teenage girls behind the counter were awful, they actually talked crap about us walking in right before closing so we could hear them, then one was just rude, the other girl actually said sorry about that as they realized we heard them, I was completely caught off guard so was just like wow, then one of my girls asked for her ice cream and the girl repeated what she said but snotty so mine responded with if thats OK, and the other girl actually said I guess we aren't the only ones being a bitch tonight, like seriously you think that's OK to say? And they said more to each other while doing the ice cream that we could hear, then put the ice cream on the counter and walked off, went in the back and left us standing there, we waited a min and one came back out rang us up, asked if we wanted a receipt and then walked back into the back.... I'm still like did that just happen? .. They were young, but they were at work, and that was totally unprofessional and they know better... I will be calling about this, because it was rude and uncalled for and totally unprofessional!!! They said more, and then laughed about it while making the ice cream as well, and I should have said more to them, but I didn't!! I went to this location when the girl with blue hair was working I came in with my four-year-old. We ordered something very simple, a marshmallow ice cream with marshmallows, and Kit Kats when I asked for a plastic top for the cup for the over, flowing melting ice cream she gave my four-year-old.
