I stepped in today to enjoy a cold treat. I don't go to cold Stone a lot, but it was convenient. Immediately, when I walked in, I recognized that they had four people working. They were all very presentable and very helpful and customer focused. One of their competitors frequently has only one person working in their stores and looks like they're tired and the store is usually not clean, not so with this cold Stone location. I chose the strawberry Blondie and the team immediately went to work. I observed how well they worked with one another and they're positive attitude. Every so often they broke into some kind of song for some reason or another. My order was ready quickly at cheerful presented. I noticed that about 10 people walked in behind me, so I observed how they handled them and the service and attitude was consistent, and it was really remarkable how fast they processed those orders and got people served. So to the team and management of this location, kudos you're doing it right. Oh yeah, the ice cream was really good too! read more

Honestly, one of the worst ice cream experiences I've had. The service was disappointing, staff look Really lost made my ice cream wrong . I expected a lot more from Cold Stone. I won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

The best cookie dough ice cream EVER! I am OBSESSED with Cold Stone's Classic Cookie Dough Ice Cream and have gone so far as to leave with a large tub of it to share with friends. Outside of their delicious ice creams, they have tons of delicious chocolatey treats to try from truffles to chocolate apples. I'd definitely recommend trying their toffee! Next time you're at the Rim for shopping or a movie, go snag yourself an ice cream! read more

Don't order a pint or quart, that's all I can say! I'm pregnant and the only treat I want lately is Birthday Cake Remix. I've been in the store for a Like It size many times, but today I sent my husband to just pick up a quart (which I ordered online). What a disappointment! I'm pretty sure they used less mix-ins for my entire quart than they did for my husband's Love It size of the same flavor... it was all plain ice cream! His Birthday Cake Remix (in a cup) looked entirely different than mine in a carton. And they left out one of my extra mix-ins (that I paid for) entirely. If you can stand there and watch them make it, this location is fine. But don't expect the same quality when buying, and paying for, a larger size like a pint or quart. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Quart size Birthday Cake Remix... where are the mix-ins?? It's all ice cream! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

This was my first time going to an ice cream shop in a while and the really gave me a great experience. A little boy that was not with my party dropped his ice cream cup on the floor and the staff were gracious enough to make him a new one. They also have disinfectant wipes on all the tables. read more

Not at all happy with the girl who helped us yesterday. She did not get enough ice cream for the container to mix it with the 2 toppings we got. She just stuffed the sweet cream ice cream on top without mixing it with the toppings. Can we not buy it any where else if you just give us the ice cream with no toppings? They made me paid before the order was prepared. Otherwise would not have tipped them as well. Poor service and not a well trained employee. read more

Have some yummy ice cream with sprinkles, customized to the way you like it! Also they have an assortment of chocolate sweets. Check it out.

Where else can you consume 1000 calories at 9:30 at night! San Antonio! 92 degrees outside still! I loved their selections. I am allergic to milk and they had a delicious raspberry sorbet. It was not very intuitive that you got one topping included in the price. I asked but my husband didn't, and he wasn't informed. The chocolate dipped bowl with sprinkles didn't taste as fresh as the chocolate dipped with peanuts. The tables were also dirty and sticky and needed to be cleaned more regularly I think overall it was a fun experience and I am glad they are open til 11pm! You never know when you want ice cream! As for cost it seems like everything has cost $20+ dollars in San Antonio. So average I'm guessing. You get a lot for the regular size. read more

Me: "What kind of nuts do you have?" Server: "We have ALL the nuts!" I come to Cold Stone for the experience more than the ice cream. I like the "create your own" option and watch as the workers have fun behind the counter mashing away. It's pretty good ice cream. Last creation we made was Banana Ice Cream, Chocolate fudge, and Walnuts. Highly recommend. Oh and pistachio ice cream with Pecans. Yum ;) read more

Brought my boys here the other day and totally forgot to make a review. Everyone was social distancing and wearing mask. The employees were friendly and hand sanitizer and wipes handy to wipe down the tables. I like the outside eating area. Who wouldn't love eating ice cream outside with nice weather. It's always a hit eating from here! I will treat my boys here twice a month as long as they behave!! read more

Ice cream is great but the staff has very unprofessional hygiene. All the young women had their hair hanging down in front of their face. No one washed their hands including the young guy handling the money (who asked for a tip when he swiped my card). Lastly, this is the third time I've been here and they don't have napkins. BYONapkin. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - I always crave ice cream after an aggressive morning of shopping! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

The ice cream here tastes old-fashioned good, with some modern twists. A plus, the quality reminds me of Ben and Jerry's in the Northeast. and my childhood. Yeah, so good it will take you back to a happy memory. :) The only thing that was disappointing is there were NO sugar free options. If there were, I would make going back a regular thing. But I will bring my kids here a few times a year just for them. I personally am mindful of my sugar intake, so I would have appreciated it if they had those types of offerings also. The ice cream is delightful , though. Expect creamy, indulgent, divine, and NOT calorie or waistline friendly. read more

I like this Cold Stone better than the one that's five minutes from my house. They sing little jingles when you walk in and when you tip them. The employees are as sweet as what they're slinging. Very polite and helpful in asking if you want mix-ins, not rushing you to the register like the one by my place. The store is very clean and there's ample seating outdoors and in. We're moving closer to this location, so I'm excited that this will be my new Cold Stone Creamery. read more

This is one of our favorite stops every time we are here at the room or at La Cantera. Hubby loves ice cream and even when on a diet cannot resist the sweets offered here. It's a really nice stop in the middle of the night when all of their shops nearby are closed. From my experience, the staff is very friendly and the place is relatively clean. I would not necessarily call it sparkling clean or a great hangout location but given the late night unavailability of other eateries in town, this place gets an extra location for being open. They do have restrooms (without changing tables btw for parents wanting an outing with kids) and they're not the cleanest but also not filthy. From the ice cream choices, Typically my favorite flavor is pistachio but for some reason from cold stones I absolutely cannot stand their pistachio flavor. Taste extremely artificial and very fake. Definitely skip that flavor. Hubby loves their chocolate and coffee flavors but they happen to be too sweet for my pallet. Coffee is my favorite flavor here with mild sweetness! They do have a really great variety of chocolate covered apples and I have to say that that is definitely one of the reasons that it earned an extra star to two stars in my review. For the nutty yelpers like myself, I loved their selection of almond, pecan and nut apples! They also have a variety of chocolate and caramel apples which won't disappoint read more

Always a good place to treat our "sweet teeth" I say teeth because it's my family and I. If you're in the mood for ice cream or specialty candies this is the place! This is a Cold Stone/Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store. Good variety of ice cream flavors and toppings. Price is pretty good. Staff is always prompt and polite. They also have doggie treats, dipped dog bones that my Frenchie loves. My favorite ice cream is vanilla in a dipped waffle bowl that has sprinkles all around. My favorite candied item would be the "Pecan Bear" caramel apple read more

The ice cream is great. But the employees quickly change their attitude if you don't tip. Tips are optional not a requirement.

My favorite ice cream place ever. Okay maybe it's because I lived in Austin and now Houston, and I can't find a single coldstone's near me. I end up coming here half the times I'm visiting SA. Anyways, Their ice cream is smoother and creamier than most places and they always have a great selection. Ask for a sample if you aren't sure what to get. Right now they have a pumpkin ice cream. I always get the like it (small) mint ice cream with brownie mix-in in a waffle bowl. Total comes out to $5. Their brownies are nice, chocolatey, and moist. Definitely recommend! Service has been great! I just went today on a Saturday night and they have at least 4-5 ppl working. Super friendly too. Payment: They don't take Discover card, but do take visa. No bills over $20. They also sing a little jingle when you tip them. Seating: maybe like 4-5 tables inside (although it's freezing cold). And about 2-3 tables outside. read more

Lazy, unprofessional staff. For the price last you pay, you would expect a better service level. Not happening here. Cashier set her belly on the counter and played on her phone while customers waited to be served at their expense chocolate counter. When ask can she assist, she said "you need to go stand in line". There was no one in the line. Ridiculous. She didn't even help her team fill orders as customers were waiting. This is the 2nd and last experience. First one, just as ridiculous. Children run this store. The owner should take note! You will not survive much longer with high prices and bad service. #welcome2kingBurger read more

This is probably the best place to get chocolate covered apples. They have a variety of apples to choose from, but me being a chocoholic ordered a Snickers chocolate covered apple. This apple in particular has caramel topped with chunky peanuts and both white and regular chocolate. The apple was green and very tasty. The service here at Cold Stone is impeccable and very clean too. Their ice creams look amazing, however I was only in the mood for chocolate covered apples during this visit. I will definitely make a stop soon for the chocolate ice cream. Thanks guys! 5 stars to y'all! read more

It was decent but having flavors I didn't and wasn't supposed to have in my ice cream was annoying. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake but had peanut pieces all the way thru. So that says one thing. The slab that they were maki g my dessert on WASNT cleaned! It was a line but did that mean I had to have cheesecake and peanut butter? This singing was cool but being asked for a tip wasn't. If service good you don't even have to ask me for I tip because I automatically do it anyway. So in this instance I didn't taste my dessert until I had already paid and left but the singing was cool tho. read more

Friendly staff! Great service! Yummy Ice Cream! Would recommend for anyone looking for something sweet!

If there is one thing that will make me STOP frequenting a location...it is cleanliness! It is 2021, when is it EVER okay to serve food without gloves!? Why wouldn't you wash your hands in front of the customer, if you weren't going to use gloves? Just nasty! Will not return..and this wasn't just a student working...this was the owner and his wife! YUCK! #dobetter read more

Their customer service is awful. Always has been for years. They need to learn how to properly train their employees

The shift lead mollie was extremely kind to me and my family, she showed us step by step on how everything is made and she was being really sweet, for our first time coming to cold stone I am really impressed by how much the employees dedicate their time to their customers, Mollie even explained the different ways I could create my own ice cream and honestly, she did a great job because it turned out really good, I will definitely come back here again and recommend many friends and family because I've never heard to this place before, overall great experience and so thankful for being treated the way customers are suppose to be treated! read more

Yay, an icecream shop that has healthy options! So, I am a huge fan of icecream and well, pretty much any sort of dessert type thing, but I do try to eat relatively healthy. Cold Stone is a great place to go to take care of my cravings, but not give me dessert eaters remorse. If you choose Sinless Sweet Cream, you can get the same things, but without all the calories. The Rasberry Sorbet is awesome and if you choose fruit mix-ins you will definitely feel better about stopping for icecream three times a week. read more

The staff is very friendly, the reason for my low review is the lack of mandating a mask. There was about 20 people packed in here today and literally only 1 other person was wearing a mask. On Saturday March 6, 2021 @4:20ish My daughter, My boyfriend, and I went the ice cream was amazing no question. My problem was that when my boyfriend went in. A girl with straight brown hair and pony tail asked for my boyfriends number I'm exchange for free ice cream. She then proceeded after telling her that he had girlfriend she still gave him free ice cream. Not that I have a problem with that but she also made a suggestive comment to him. As someone who works food service I think it's extremely un-professional and offended me since she saw me in there with him. So just um.. be BETTER I'd like to get ice cream with out your worker hitting on my boyfriend and giving him free product because she thinks he's hot. Won't be coming back for a while. read more

Tables dirty, kids running the place and ice cream was melted when I received it. Worse experience Ina cold stone.

Crappy experience. You treat everybody so nice and respectful but treat me and my family like crap? We had already paid for a cone and you literally almost put no icecream on it. When requesting for more, you complain and say you want to charge me? Damn, so basically I'm supposed to eat a $4 cone? Get real, I'll never come back here again. And yes morons, "I already paid." read more
