Where else can you consume 1000 calories at 9:30 at night! San Antonio! 92 degrees outside still! I loved their selections. I am allergic to milk and they had a delicious raspberry sorbet. It was not very intuitive that you got one topping included in the price. I asked but my husband didn't, and he wasn't informed. The chocolate dipped bowl with sprinkles didn't taste as fresh as the chocolate dipped with peanuts. The tables were also dirty and sticky and needed to be cleaned more regularly I think overall it was a fun experience and I am glad they are open til 11pm! You never know when you want ice cream! As for cost it seems like everything has cost $20+ dollars in San Antonio. So average I'm guessing. You get a lot for the regular size. read more

Brought my boys here the other day and totally forgot to make a review. Everyone was social distancing and wearing mask. This is one of our favorite stops every time we are here at the room or at La Cantera. Hubby loves ice cream and even when on a diet cannot resist the sweets offered here. It's a really nice stop in the middle of the night when all of their shops nearby are closed. From my experience, the staff is very friendly and the place is relatively clean. I would not necessarily call it sparkling clean or a great hangout location but given the late night unavailability of other eateries in town, this place gets an extra location for being open. They do have restrooms (without changing tables btw for parents wanting an outing with kids) and they're not the cleanest but also not filthy. From the ice cream choices, Typically my favorite flavor is pistachio but for some reason from cold stones I absolutely cannot stand their pistachio flavor. Taste extremely artificial and very fake. Definitely skip that flavor. Hubby loves their chocolate and coffee flavors but they happen to be too sweet for my pallet. Coffee is my favorite flavor here with mild sweetness! They do have a really great variety of chocolate covered apples and I have to say that that is definitely one of the reasons that it earned an extra star to two stars in my review. My favorite ice cream place ever. Okay maybe it's because I lived in Austin and now Houston, and I can't find a single coldstone's near me. I end up coming here half the times I'm visiting SA. This is probably the best place to get chocolate covered apples. They have a variety of apples to choose from, but me being a chocoholic ordered a Snickers chocolate covered apple. This apple in particular has caramel topped with chunky peanuts and both white and regular chocolate. The apple was green and very tasty. The service here at Cold Stone is impeccable and very clean too. Their ice creams look amazing, however I was only in the mood for chocolate covered apples during this visit. The staff is very friendly, the reason for my low review is the lack of mandating a mask. There was about 20 people packed in here today and literally only 1 other person was wearing a mask. Yay, an icecream shop that has healthy options! So, I am a huge fan of icecream and well, pretty much any sort of dessert type thing, but I do try to eat relatively healthy. Cold Stone is a great place to go to take care of my cravings, but not give me dessert eaters remorse. If you choose Sinless Sweet Cream, you can get the same things, but without all the calories. The Rasberry Sorbet is awesome and if you choose fruit mix-ins you will definitely feel better about stopping for icecream three times a week. read more
