Oreo and coffee ice-cream in a freshly made waffle bowl

Cold Stone Creamery is one of those chains that just isn't my favorite. The ice-cream is a bit too sweet and the prices a bit too high. That being said this location is super convenient to the trampoline place across the parking lot so I've found myself here quite a few times now. Service is always friendly and the space is clean. There is a selection of take-home items in the freezer. If you're into Cold Stone Creamery this is a very nice location.

Wow they can't spell correctly this is not only time look at other reviews on Yelp. I complain to corp and Indian owner offer one free ice cream. I didn't bother going back since everyone on the review say they have a nazi cashier/worker. Never like bashing local store, I can see why is always empty.

Cold Stone is a little pricey but if you want creamy delicious icecream with fresh fruit or cookies whipped in, it's the best option. The Milltown location is always clean with friendly staff.

I wish I could give this review a negative 3 stars. Extremely disappointed with the new staff and management. We have been coming to this Cold Stone since it opened at this location. The staff and managers were always so welcoming and warm. They would suggest certain flavors, give us samples, greet my children with a great smile. We decided to pick up some ice cream tonight as the weather was warmer. As the employee started to take my order, she barely smiled. Barely even acknowledged my child. I asked for a small cotton candy with gummy bears and kit kats on the side. I've done this in the past many times. And never had an issue. Well the employee tonight looked completely baffled by my order. She said. You want the gummy bears and kit kat on the side? I can't put it on the side. I explained it to her. My child finds it hard to chew the gummy bears and kit kat when its mixed in the ice cream. And, the staff before would always put the gummy bears in another small cup and pack it to go. I didn't think that was such a tough request. Well the employee tonight said, "I can't put the gummy bears on the side as I do not have the keys to thr cup." I looked at her while her hands on the towering stack of small cups..... she said what she can do is stack everything on top of the ice cream. I asked her nicely again. And said, can't you just put the gummy bears and kit kat in another cup? Like the one under your hand? She then said since she started working here, they are not allowed to do that. I was completely baffled. I asked her nicely, can't you just put it on the side then? She rolls her eyes walls over to another worker. Barely asks. Comes back and says I can't because I don't have the keys to the register. Now I'm even more bewildered by her response. So I gave up. I said ok. If you can place the gummy bears and kit kat at the top that fine. As I was waiting, I started to look around and I noticed the place wasn't as packed. And something just looked different. I turned around to ask the employee is this place under new management. She had such a nasty attitude. And said, yes, this place is under new management. As she is ringing up my order she started speaking a different language in a complaining voice. I have no idea what she was saying. She could barely look at me. I was so disappointed and to have my child witness this was even more disheartening. As we get home, I opened up my child's ice cream. And noticed the employee from Cold stone stuffed the small cup of ice cream into a medium cup..... ummmm.... why couldn't she just place the gummy bears and kit kat in the extra cup???? Its soo sad that this place is attached to the cold stone creamery name. I've gone to other locations and the staff has always been super nice. I don't know how cold stone could allow this new management and staff to act the way they acted tonight. I am definitely never going back to this cold stone location again!!!!

Later that day, we called to change the pickup date from 10/17 to 10/14, and the employee confirmed the change. When I asked to make sure all cupcakes would be filled, she said, "Yes, all will be filled with pink," completely ruining the surprise. This was supposed to be a private, special moment for us as expecting parents, and it was ruined by carelessness. The next day, another employee called to confirm our order but didn't even seem to have the correct details, proving the lack of communication. Please train your staff better for situations like this--moments like ours can't be redone. I emailed the company - they said the store manager will call but never did. Since I had to work in the area nearby, I placed a pre-order for a bundtlet tower at this location. I got her two of her favorites and a chocolate covered strawberry cake in the tower. They usually wrap it in cellophane, tie it with a ribbon and add a little flag with a saying on it, depending on the occasion. When I arrived at this location, the store was packed and there was a line to the door. I'm not sure why I was surprised at the line. It was Valentine's Day, after all. Despite the line, it moved fairly quickly. When I got to the counter, I told them that I was there to pick up an order and gave my name. The cashier went to the back and came back out with my order. She asked if I would like anything else. I decided to get two bundtlets for myself: chocolate covered strawberry and white chocolate raspberry (my favorite). The chocolate covered strawberry cake is a seasonal flavor that they had due to the holiday. It was basically a strawberry and cream cake topped with a chocolate ganache and heart-shaped sprinkles. I enjoyed this cake but wish the chocolate was more of a sauce rather than a hard shell. As with all of these shops, the store itself is bright, colorful, and cute. I'm glad to know that if I need to pick up a treat on short notice for a celebration, Nothing Bundt Cakes is the place. I placed and picked up my order on the same day, which was also probably one of their busiest days.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
