FYI I was on my way to a birthday party and needed a cake. Since then been trying to get a hold of a manager for a refund. Manager is NEVER available or calls back. Service is just awful, stood in line for 50 minutes before my order was even taken and it took them another 10 minutes to make 2 cups of ice cream. I was craving a shake, so I decided to try Cold Stone. They have a new line of Reese Peanut butter cup choices. I chose the shake. The service was top notch, very friendly gentleman took care of me. The price is kinda high, $6+ for a 16-18z shake, come on. I know all the ice cream is made in house, and you get what you pay for but kinda high. The taste of the shake is where they lost me. It's a Reese Peanut Butter shake, it should taste like that. This was all peanut butter, it over powered any chocolate flavor. I went in today, the ice cream was mushy and one scoop is literally a half of scoop. They fill a round ice cream scoop and then run the scoop against the carton edge taking off any ice cream above the scooper! So you're getting a half of scoop on a cone for $5.00. Big rip off! read more

I scream, you scream, we all would cut someone to get our hands on that cake batter ice cream. It is soooooooooo good. Seriously, how do they do it. There's none of that ribbon of icing or sprinkle crap in this ice cream. Just some good old fashion how do you do. You don't need a cone or one of their waffle bowls, ingenious but kinda meh because they sit out for a while (at least the chocolate covered one I had). And if your driving and in a hurry the cake batter makes the best milkshake every. And you can get a supped up version that has actual cake pieces. So meta. The consistency of the ice cream is amazing. Its thick and creamy and soft and so delicious. The other flavors are also very good, but I have yet to be able to break from the constraints of the cake batter. read more

Earlier this summer I went in with the Groupon deal 8 minutes before the shop closed. I felt bad when I realized it. Only two young girls were left closing up and I was expecting to be rushed out the door. They were both extremely sweet and gave great customer service! By far the best Cold Stone location I've ever visited. Impeccably clean, energetic friendly staff and great selection and service of some of the best ice cream around. Bonus points go to them not over-selling the singing gimmick that most of the stores do. It's dated and has to be a huge blow to their ego to "sing for their supper" every time some old lady or child drops a quarter in the tip jar. I rented the Cold Cart for my sons' birthday party. Erika was wonderful! From returning my first email immediately to always being in contact with me throughout the whole ordering process-she was friendly and very helpful in picking out the ice creams and the ice cream cupcakes! My party was a great success! From guests in their teens, twenties and all the way to sixties- they all loved the different kinds of ice cream and had so much fun with the cart. I came here with a Groupon. I kept it simple and got a large waffle cone of strawberry ice cream. My girlfriend got a medium waffle bowl of oreo filling ice cream with raspberries tossed within it. My strawberry cone tasted good, but make a large was too much ice cream for one person. I probably should have gotten a medium like my girlfriend. The funny thing is she probably should have gotten a small, because the medium was much to big for her. I had to try to eat the half that she left behind, but I just could not do it. I was already bloated enough was it was after finishing my cone and I really didn't care for her flavor. It had the consistency of a melted marshmellow to it, as though it hung onto your tongue when you licked it, but wanted to goop (not drip or melt) out of your mouth before you had the chance to roll your tongue back in. My girlfriend agreed with me that it was a very odd flavor that she would not recommend to anyone. So long story short, we batted 1 for 2 with the ice flavors. P.S. They do not offer water anywhere within the place and will not give you a cup if you go up to the register to ask for some. God knows I get thirsty when I'm eating ice cream and God knows I get pist when I try to get water from ice cream establishments that I spend $10 at for two cones only to find out that they try to charge me another $2 for a bottle of water. Example: Me: "Hey, by any chance could I get a cup of water?" Ice Cream Employee: "We don't have water available, but you could buy a bottle of water if you want." First time at Cold Stone and last. Who came up with this concept? It's probably ok if there's only one person in the whole place, but why should customers wait while the employee is getting a container of ice cream for a customer ahead. Example: customer asked for butter pecan ice cream which the ice cream itself has no visible signs of pecans, so the employee scoops out the ice cream onto the iced slab. Adds a tablespoon of pecans and begins to mix, mash and massage this stuff scraping back and forth. Scoops it up to fill container but guess what? Not enough to fill container for $9.99 so starts all over again. Still not enough so there we go, all over again for the third time. Geez........WTF?????? So now for the "founders delight ". Mix, massage the ice cream back and forth, add a cube of brownie, a teaspoon of chocolate, teaspoon of caramel and a teaspoon of pecans..........mix, mash and massage and scoop all that into a waffle cone. Hooray for Erika and Brian! I can't say enough about their service. For three years they have served our annual employee pool party. It is a great hit with the kids and the adults as well. We loved them so much we engaged them to serve at my daughter's wedding reception. Cold Stone was welcomed by the attendees even in January. Erika and Brian are both wonderful to work with. We used this location for our wedding for an ice cream buffet, and they were absolutely awful!!! I dont even know where to begin. The management/ownership argued with me over the phone, and was extremely rude while I was simply trying to understand why she didnt let me know that there was a minimum number of guests that we needed to have. When I told her I wasnt sure that we wanted to use their services anymore because of how rude she was being, and her trying to lecture me about business when I also run my own restaurant wasnt the least bit helpful, she told me that we had already paid the non refundable deposit. My husband during our whole wedding process was trying to pay as much as possible so that it didnt fall on us later. So he paid more than the required deposit amount. When I asked her what our deposit was she told me that it was our first payment when I had in her email that it was only $200, so she lied to us trying to get as much money out of us as possible. I would NEVER go here again. Being a General Manager myself I am always the one who lets things slide because I have been in that position of being busy and trying to make everyone happy, but the management here isnt even concerned with their guests. Save your money and go to dairy queen, its far better and you dont have to be badgered by management. read more

Went there with my two daughters and ordered 3 like it signature creations. Cashier rang us up and my total was over $19 after I used a $3 coupon! I asked the cashier to make sure that was accurate because it seemed a bit pricey for what we ordered. She said....well, you saved $3! I paid and we sat outside and had our ice cream. I thought whoa without coupon my total would have been over $22. I checked for my receipt but I was only given the credit card one. I went back in to ask for my receipt and before I asked the cashier said to me, I know I messed up and I will be right with you. She admitted that she had seen me sitting outside for over 20 minutes, but didn't come to correct it on her own. She explained that it was a simple honest human mistake, without even saying sorry. How can she not know what basic things there should cost? Management/owner was just as bad, complaining got me the honest human mistake answer again with an apology that time! A little too late though. When a customer asks that their order be checked and an employee does not, it's more than a simple mistake. I can't see this place in business much longer anyway.
