Every time I go to Cold Stone their ice cream is creamy, delicious, and dependable. I don't want to like it as much as I do (because it's a chain) but every location it tastes awesome! This location in JAX deserved the 5 stars however because it's big, there's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and the service was great. They were all friendly, the location was clean, and there were a lot of people just hanging around, eating ice cream, and relaxing, it was all around great vibes. If you're a mint and brownie fan, get the mint chocolate chip with brownies from the menu, you won't regret it!

John's birthday is today and dad and his wife wanted to meet up to give him presents and ice cream is John's favorite treat! This location is ice cream and Planet Smoothie! It's huge inside too- I was very surprised! There are so many options that it makes me dizzy! Pumpkin, banana caramel crunch, Reeses Peanut Butter Cup- and so many more (those are the ones that stuck out to me. John went with birthday cake flavor in a waffle bowl, chocolate dipped with sprinkles! Dad got an oreo mix ice cream, Caron went with mint chocolate chip and I picked the Reeses with chocolate ice cream and added banana to it! The guys working the counter were great even though 3 out of 4 of us were terribly indecisive! John picked first and fastest! We sat, ate and chatted for about an hour! We also picked a great time of day to visit- only a few other customers came in while we were there!

It's always tasty.. just missing a star because of Bidenomics. I'm tired of beign gaslight and told things are the same when they are definitely not. Food keeps shrinking while price keeps increasing. Until businesses start being honest and just coming out with a "Biden tax" just like they did when they put "covid tax"... I happen to have a year agos ice cream cake.. same price but much much smaller. Stop gas lighting me everyone. Until you stop, I am boycotting. Going to make everything myself here on out. No more supporting any liberal companies or tipping anyone else in this economy. If you voted Biden you don't get a tip from now on.

Cold stone ice cream is so delicious! Velvety smooth and you can make just about any creation you want. My go to favorite is birthday cake remix, the flavor is sooo good ! Any cake batter fan will enjoy it. Some days are super busy, others are more relaxed, if you have kids, come on Sunday because they give a free scoop to the kiddos. ( not sure how long the promo will last so get it while the getting is good! )

cotton candy and sea salt sweet cream side-by-side in a like it cup.

Cold Stone closed in my home state, so this was really a treat! We got to sample all the flavors we wanted and both settled on cotton candy and sea salt sweet cream side-by-side in their small "like it" cup. It was so nice and creamy and perfect for a hot JAX day! So good we went back a second time a few days later and on a rainy day, too! We also bumped up to their medium "love it" cup size! Stone cold!

This Cold Stone earns an A OK rating overall. Unique to this location - Rocky Mountain Chocolate and a lot of table space. I've been to a number of Cold Stone Creamery shops and your takeaway to either "like it, love it" or "leave it" (the store that is) is simply driven by customers' perceptions and experiences with: service by the staff, food quality to include portion size and store atmosphere / cleanliness. I waited to review until now based upon several visits to this store since it's grand opening. Having worked a couple of summers at Baskin Robbins during HS, I have been on the other side of the counter and realize first hand that good customer service goes a long way, inconsistent (especially skimpy) ice cream scoop portions and "Sticky" tables and trash cans bursting full are no-nos. To borrow from Cold Stone itself, this is a "like it" Store - good customer service is there at times but not always consistent; the size of the ice scream scoop portions are always dependent upon who scoops for you (inconsistent); and the store is well-kept and clean. I appreciate that they give a Military discount. This is a cool clean "like it" cold stone creamery (CSS) worth paying a visit on a hot summer day.

I love this place- I mean, what isn't to love about ice cream? I know for a fact my kid loves it and even my brother in law who is a notorious snob is all about that sweet cream yo. (Yeah - definitely some obvious jokes there - that's for giving me a hard time Joe!) I have been in a few of these cold stones and typically they are staffed by barely post pubescent teens who are tired of making their 30th banana split of the night. The atmosphere in this store was great - warm - and welcoming, even though we came in right before closing. The product is top notch to boot. The ice cream and ingredients you can fold in are all of great quality and these guys will make anything you want in any way you want it. I can't say enough about this location, it is by far the best cold stone in town. Even the seating area is larger. If you are looking for a frozen slab ice cream joint with fresh delicious product, go here. Also- if you want - try some of their ice cream cookie sandwiches, we did and they are awesome. ( check out the pics!)

Would not serve us because we didn't have masks and no other customers were in the building. 0/10. Would not recommend.

The staff were friendly, informative, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there, which made a big difference in the atmosphere. The pricing can be a bit confusing. Some items had small signs nearby that we had to search for, others were labeled directly on the items, and a few weren't priced at all. The lollipop class was both informative and enjoyable. The instructor was fantastic with the younger ones and still managed to keep the attention of the teenagers. You could tell he was experienced in speaking to a crowd and skilled at condensing a lot of information into something easy to follow. We got to watch him make a lollipop completely from scratch, from pouring the boiling sugar onto the table to mixing and twisting the colors into a swirl for us to shape ourselves. The second visit was for a chocolate bar making class. We had the same instructor, which was great, and this time he had another candy maker helping because there were almost twice as many people. Together they managed a very excited group of children beautifully. I went on a similar field trip here about two years ago, where instead of making the bars ourselves, we filled out little menu cards choosing our toppings and type of chocolate, and the staff made them for us while we went on a tour. Personally, I preferred that setup. This time, the toppings were left completely up to the kids, which led to a few of them putting their hands in the bowls instead of using the spoons provided. I understand that isn't Sweet Pete's fault and falls more on the parents' supervision, but it did affect the overall experience for me. Overall, Sweet Pete's continues to be a great destination for both education and fun. For a more educational and hands-on experience, I recommend the lollipop class. For a more kid-focused activity, the chocolate bar class is a hit."

It felt like a lot of Indians with no clear chief. The tour starts in the chocolate room, gotta love that! Chocolate covered chips, cookies, marshmallows and fudge all around. The restaurant was filled with dirty tables, the bar was in disarray. The food portions looked small however at least it kept coming out! The owners family has been in the candy business for years and he still works there everyday, that's awesome! :)) I'm glad we checked it out. Thank you Sweet Petes! You can trust me, I am a candy eating American. ;D

If you've taken…read morethe time to read my reviews, then you already know I'm usually not a fan of trying places that blow up on social media because more often than not they end up being just okay. But this time, I decided to give The Happy Cake Shop a try because who doesn't love a sweet treat? Let me just say I'm so glad I did! It's such a cute little shop with a great variety of cupcake flavors to choose from. Mr. OJ was incredibly welcoming and took the time to give me a quick rundown of the shop and the flavors they had available that day. I ended up grabbing a few because I couldn't make up my mind lol. I tried the Chocolate Strawberry, Coconut, Red Velvet, Banana Pudding, and Strawberry cupcakes. Every single cupcake was moist, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Each flavor tasted exactly the way you'd hope it would and nothing was overly sweet. Let's just say as soon as I got those cupcakes back to the house, they were gone within 20 minutes . I'm so glad I gave The Happy Cake Shop a chance and I'll definitely be back to try more flavors. If you're in the Jacksonville area, do yourself a favor and stop by. I promise you won't be disappointed!
