We ordered the Hot Fudge Nachos ($12)with housemade cinnamon sugar chips, bluebell vanilla ice cream, brownies, whipped cream and a cherry ($, Butter My Waffle Shake ($18.83 served in souvenir mason jar) which is vanilla ice cream caramel sauce, crushed butter finger, chocolate sauce, chocolate icing, sugar pearl waffle and whipped cream, and a Build Me Up Buttercup shake ($18.83 served in souvenir mason jar) which has both vanilla and peanut butter ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, Reese's peanut butter cups, peanut butter sauce and Reese's pieces. The ice cream is quality Blue Bell brand which already told me the ice cream is great. I will say that the shakes and a decent size and could be shared with a friend or family member as they are exploding with sweetness. I really enjoyed the Hot Fudge Nachos as it was a fun spin on a hot fudge sundae. This is definitely an experience I recommend! There is plenty of indoor seating, two large sinks in the back of the dining room to wash out your souvenir mason jars, colorful murals on the walls, friendly and welcoming staff. Menu board, handheld menus and a photo menu book to look at to help you make your decision. You do t have to get the souvenir mason jars with your shakes but they are cute if you want them.

They have all sorts of crazy concoctions with fun names, many in mason jars (hence their business name). These concoctions aren't cheap, and I think anyone would be hard pressed to finish one themselves, so if you're not big on sweet treats maybe share one. They do have some options for basic ice cream, etc. in dishes, but that is not their wheelhouse. The staff was very helpful in answering questions, especially because the menu is a bit overwhelming. They make each concoction to order, so you can make some substitutions but that also means it will take some time to get your order (especially in a large group).

He encouraged us to sample whichever flavors we wanted before making a decision, and considering there was a pretty lengthy line, that level of patience was especially appreciated. At no point did we feel rushed to just pick something and move along. He also recommended a few of his personal favorites, and I ended up choosing one of his suggestions, it was amazing. What really made the experience, though, was his personality. He kept a smile on his face, had playful banter with our family, and made something as simple as choosing ice cream genuinely enjoyable. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but I hope Salt & Straw knows they have someone at their Disney Springs location who creates exactly the kind of first impression that makes people want to come back. The first thing you'll notice when walking in is the amazing smell of the fresh waffle cones they bake in house. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and their rewards program is a nice bonus since every purchase earns you points toward free treats. Even though I sample the seasonal flavors, I almost always order a split single scoop of Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons and Double Fold Vanilla in a chocolate or seasonal waffle cone. It's my perfect combo. Since it's at Disney Springs, it can get pretty busy, especially at night, and since it's a small shop the queue line is usually wrapped outside, but it's absolutely worth the wait. Great ice cream, friendly service, and creative flavors keep me coming back.

Note: Ghirardelli is currently under construction in their original spot at Disney Springs and is now located in "town center" over by Uniqlo and Pandora for the time being. The offerings are pretty much like other shops of this chain, but the inside of the restaurant is pretty small. I was busy trying to ensure my mixer didn't lose any of the fruit in my Like It (the whole chain uses such little spoons to measure their add-ins!) when another associate was asking me to pay for my order: efficient though distracting. Service was good (the mixer didn't in the end lose any fruit and I didn't have to say anything.)

Let's begin with the seating situation…read more Apparently, this is a "food court" area at Disney Springs, which I assume means the food is provided by several establishments while the cleaning of the tables is apparently a community service project. No one seems to actually be responsible for cleaning the tables, so naturally, you can expect them to be covered in the usual sticky mystery substance. And because none of the restaurants sharing this little dining arena seem to believe in something as radical as a napkin or plasticware station, congratulations! You are now the busboy. Grab some supplies and clean your own table. Of course, first you have to get past the bouncer at the door, whose apparent job is to regulate access to the frozen yogurt line. Because apparently the fate of national security rests on who gets into the Froyo queue. Once you finally make it through that checkpoint, you have to ask the cashier for napkins. And this is where the experience really shines. The high-school-aged girl working there proceeds to give me attitude and asks, "Did you take enough?" Ma'am. First of all, your napkin dispenser doesn't work. Second, I am literally asking for napkins because your restaurant did not provide a functioning place for customers to get them. And third, perhaps save the interrogation for after my husband and I have recovered from being financially ass-taped for approximately $50 worth of three frozen yogurts. Nothing says Disney magic quite like paying amusement-park prices to clean your own sticky table while being reprimanded for taking too many napkins. The happiest place on Earth. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles, and the cozy atmosphere immediately made us feel welcome. We ordered two kinds of smoothies along with their traditional beignets. The beignets were generously dusted with powdered sugar, and when I took my first bite, they were hot, fresh, and wonderfully chewy on the inside. I honestly don't think I've ever had freshly made beignets before, and they were absolutely delicious! We were both so excited to discover this place. They offer several different varieties of beignets, and we're already looking forward to trying more of them little by little on future visits. Today was my cheat day, and it was completely worth it for these amazing treats! The smoothies were also fantastic. They weren't overly sweet, and you could really taste the freshness of the fruit.
