This is how they hand you a to-go order ‍

I wish I could do zero stars. This is hands down the worst Cold Stone location there is. The employees could CARE LESS about anything that even remotely resembles customer service. It's always dirty. They're out of waffle bowls more often than not. This whole store needs a serious overhaul. I ordered ice team in a waffle bowl on the website and when I went to pick it up, the waffle bowl was missing. When I asked about it, the employee just said 'we're out!' And when I asked for a refund for the waffle bowl since I didn't get, she said 'we don't do that' ‍ To top it all off, the ice cream was spilling out all over in the bag when she handed it to me

If I could give 6 stars, I would. My favorite ice cream: Number 1: cold stone Number 2: McDonald's I get a cakebatter with cookie dough, I always get the same thing, so stick with what you know.

Was not impressed with the LACK OF DETAILS put into this cake we ordered. EVERYTHING especially the writing looks like it was done by a 5 year old!! The taste of the cake was ok. But for the price I was expecting much better with everything. Obviously the person who made this was not experienced. If I would have known that was going to be the case I wouldn't have ordered. Not a professional job at all. Nothing like what they advertise online. So disappointed. Completely feel ripped off.

What we wanted, what we ordered, and what we received

So disappointed. We really wanted to treat our boys to the Super Mario Birthday Bash icecream. I ordered online, and I ordered in advance and selected curbside. The in parking lot is so crammed that cars literally just float around waiting for a spot. I called the store and it was so loud that the employee and I could barely hear each other. I told him I had an order for curbside but that the parking lot was packed and he said okay. So I told him my name and he responded and said he would have it done in 5 minutes which was 5 minutes after my scheduled pick up time which wasn't a huge deal, but then he hung up with no details on what we needed to do or anything of the sort. We took about 10 minutes to find a parking spot. We walked in and it was obvious they were overwhelmed. No one noticed us waiting near the screen for a pick up so we got in line. When we got up to the front the employee got my name and I was told that mine was being worked on. I saw the black blob and hoped it wasn't ours. I noticed many others getting that icecream so I didn't think much of it. Sure enough that was our order. I understand they're doing the blacked out cake batter but you can't achieve the same look for Super Mario, and this much food coloring is excessive. I think we may have been given something entirely different than the Super Mario because I found an Oreo in mine as well. We also ordered two chocolate covered waffle cones that were suppose to be served on the side that we didn't receive. The guy who made our order placed it on the counter didn't even look at us before walking off saying "there you go!" I get that it was busy but you're dealing with customers. I'm paying for a service and I expect to be addressed somehow especially when they also take tips. I tried finding a contact email to send this experience to corporate but their website seems to have a broken link, and I messaged their Instagram asking for a email to file the complaint. Normally I'm not one to leave bad reviews but I am entirely disappointed. So many issues and no way for Cold Stone to receive emails or letters with constructive feedback except for a public review?

I just love this cold stone with my whole heart. It's right next to my home town and the people that work there are just scrumptious. Thanks Cold Stone for making like just a little bit better.

This has to be the filthiest Cold Stone I've ever been to. You can tell this store hasn't been cleaned in a very long time.

Even the ice cream flavors and drinking chocolate get clever historically-inspired names, which adds to the charm. Portions are generous. I usually get the one scoop, which in reality is three small scoops. Get two if you're sharing, and three if you can handle a full sugar coma. My personal favorite, after working my way through nearly the entire menu, is the Abigail Adams' Salted Crack Cookie with salted caramel, cookie chunks, roasted pecans, and smoked almonds. Simply delicious. I'm happy to pay the fair price for premium ice cream this good. They recently opened the Lehi-Traverse Mountain location, and it's packed on weekends. They were so patient with me while I tried (yes...) five different flavors before deciding. Jeff was especially great; he had a genuine smile the whole time and handed me each sample like he was excited for me to try it. I'm originally from Louisiana, so the John Jay's Louisiana Purchase Pralines & Cream immediately caught my eye, and it truly tasted like home. The French brown butter vanilla, New Orleans pralines, and butterscotch swirl were absolutely perfect together. I also loved The Tory Apathy--cheesecake ice cream with black raspberry swirls. Both flavors were bold and explosive without being overwhelming, and that really stood out to me. I normally stick to chocolate or coffee ice cream, but these two completely won me over. The texture is a little more on the icy, compact side, but the flavor payoff makes up for it. Overall, such a fun, delicious, memorable stop!

Now that I have your attention and I've given you an ear worm, I'll share a story. My friends and I spent a Saturday on ísbíltúr, which is an Icelandic tradition of taking an ice cream road trip. We hit five different places around the Salt Lake valley and lived to tell about it; with only a slight stomachache. This one is a drive through with a small walk-up window and seating outside. It happened to be our last stop on our journey and was the perfect ending to our adventure! We ordered our cones at the window and then sat on the patio in the warm evening air, enjoying our final treats of the day. The patio is situated between two drive through lines, so the setting is a little unusual, but still good vibes. Blue Moo offers Blue Bell ice cream (IYKYK) and is generous in their portion sizes. There's a lovely blue cow photo op adjacent to the drive thru (logistics can be a little tricky if there are cars queuing up).

The staff were super nice and the tables outside were kept clean for those that want to stay and eat their ice cream. Can't wait to go back to try more flavors! Everyone having a good time. Comfortable booths. It's really a happening place. Good ice cream and friends say their food is good, too. Give them a visit. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier.
