Delicious ice cream. Rude employees every time I go in there. I think I'll go to The Dairy Queen or Grandpa's next time.

Tiphanie's is one of my favorite things about Davenport. The food is fantastic. I've never had…read moreanything that was less than delicious! I always say I wish I could get a sampler with a couple bites of each sandwich/app/entree so I can enjoy it all. And the desserts are AMAZING! The special Tiph bars (my favorite) are so irresistible they've been sold out the last two times I've been there! I live in Iowa City and I try to stop in any time I go to the QC or even driving through on my way to IL. My only complaint is that it's nowhere near I-80! The food, the baked goods, the decor and the vibe are all top notch! I may have to make a trip there this weekend and order one of everything!

The owner (Tiphanie) is something else. Rude, unprofessional, and somehow convinced she's above…read moreeveryone when her business is hanging on by the thinnest thread of customer patience. My first experience with her? I called to order a smash cake for my baby's first birthday. I sent my budget and a reference photo like any normal parent would (which was the most simple and plain cake that I actually ended up making myself but better) and she laughed -- actually laughed -- and said, "Let me put it like this, you're asking for a BMW cake on a Honda budget." That's what she said to a first time mom and first time customer. I was disgusted. That moment told me everything. She acts like she's doing people a favor by taking their money. The desserts are mediocre, the food is a joke, and her public responses to reviews are even worse...petty, defensive, and dripping with the same arrogance I heard on the phone. Then there's her social media.. full of cringe-worthy videos that make you wonder how someone can be this unaware of their own attitude. And apparently she orders Instacart and doesn't even tip. It's all the same energy: take, brag, and belittle. If she ever treated customers with even a fraction of the respect they deserve, she might actually have a good thing going. But for now, her reputation matches her product.. stale and hard to swallow.

I have always wanted to check this place out but have never had the time to. I would pass in Quincy…read moreand see the big bubbles to sit in outside and all the advertisements. I needed to check it out. They do have a parking lot in the back on the side road. I was on a hunt for pastries otherwise I would have went into the front entrance. They have a restaurant setting/full bar in front which I did not try yet. But I know they do brunch here as well. I went to the bakery section in the back, where the lady who worked here was super nice and friendly. Gave me so much information. They had little chocolates. More flavors than you could imagine. Peppermint bars, Cookies, and candies. I bought a cinnamon roll because holy hell, the cream on it looked so bomb. And I bought a half dozen cupcakes. Each cupcake was around $2.25 each. They looked crazy. I had to buy them. I bought an Oreo cream , some peanut butter bliss, a wedding cake and s'mores flavored cupcakes. They were beautiful. The people who make these things put a lot of work and effort to not only make a cute spot to go to in Quincy. But also so you can bring their hard work home with you to share with your family and friends. Will be coming more often!

I ordered cupcakes and when I saw them I didn't think they were decorated very well. First time…read moreordering. Just looked like scooped icing with a spoon and sat on top of cupcakes. Just orange and a pretzel. Just plain. I asked for different shapes of frosting on top but all the same. I will try again maybe take a photo on. I appreciate you doing my order.
