How the FM Hy-Vee and the Burlington/Keokuk Hy-Vees can be so night and day is beyond me…read more I've lost count of how many times I've gone to the FM Hy-Vee and they've been out of or don't stock what I'm looking for or how many times they run things on special and the shelves are empty. And then there's the factor of their produce being atrocious. Half the time it is either completely not ripened or so ripe you put your finger through it. The only time I even go there these days is for their spend $20, get 20 cents in gas on Tuesdays, otherwise it's worth it for me to drive to the other towns (or to Aldi) to get a vast majority of my groceries.

I was told I have 4 ahead of you so listen and be patient. I expected cars to be lined up around the building but alas I was the only car there to pick up groceries. I give the overworked employee 5 stars. I give the manager over this employee 1star. Less if I could. This woman was losing her mind. I usually order from Walmart and I am running back there as fast as a bunny. Take a lesson from them on how it is done.

It's an older Aldi, so the inside of the store is very dated. When we lived in Fort Madison, I would come here in pinch but now that we're closer to the Keokuk location, I prefer their location much more.
