And then there's the factor of their produce being atrocious. Half the time it is either completely not ripened or so ripe you put your finger through it. The only time I even go there these days is for their spend $20, get 20 cents in gas on Tuesdays, otherwise it's worth it for me to drive to the other towns (or to Aldi) to get a vast majority of my groceries.

He was not in good shape since he had just finished dialysis so he asked for help. The employee was rude to him and said, "can't you read the sign that says out of order?" I work in retail also and would be fired if I said that to a customer. We will never go to that Dollar General again! This was store #2194 and the cashier's initials were SCO. It's an older Aldi, so the inside of the store is very dated. When we lived in Fort Madison, I would come here in pinch but now that we're closer to the Keokuk location, I prefer their location much more.
