The boat shuttle is a small little boat that fits up to 6 people and it took all of 5-10 minutes to get from the ferry dock to Honeymoon. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They set up your chairs wherever you want on the beach. They pull out the kayaks for you and give you the snorkel gear. I was a little disappointed because if you are just doing the equipment rental you're not allowed to kayak passed the confines of honeymoon beach, which is kind of small. I have a feeling that is for your own safety though so you don't get overzealous and find yourself lost out on the water without a tour guide! We didn't end up using the SUPs but they were available if we wanted. We snorkeled and unfortunately there wasn't a lot of fish. But we did see a couple sea turtles which was what I was hoping for!! I will say, the food and drinks they sell in the hut are super expensive and downright not worth it. So bring a mini cooler with snacks and water if you can! It was a leisurely day and we liked being able to snorkel and kayak of our own free will!

Not very crowded and beautiful white sand. The water was so clear, clean and pretty! The only reason for loosing a star, is because the bathrooms were not well kept and no shower or fresh water to rinse your feet before returning to St. Thomas. Don't forget to grab lunch and a drink at the Dinghey! Delicious chicken tacos!

It has great views of the St Croix on the horizon, and is located on a part of the island that has slightly bigger waves than many of the other nearby beaches. Snorkeling on the left (east) side of the beach is pretty good, with some decent aquatic life. We went out beyond the point to the east, and saw lobsters, squid, urchins, and plenty of fish. For the beach, I'd recommend water shoes did you have them. The entry to the beach is pretty rocky with shells and coral. After getting in a few feet past the beach, it's very sandy. The Sandbar and Salt Shack are nice places located along the beach that have food and drinks. We were able to get parking in the kit behind the Sandbar, but with all of the construction, parking was limited. I believe taxis will drop off and pick up from the area behind the Sandbar. This has been in of our family's favorite beaches for years. We're glad it's still maintained and business is coming back to life after the hurricanes a few years ago!

We were trying to get to…read morethis hike but we accidentally went on the plantation hike, so be aware those are two different things. After parking, make a right and walk on the road and you'll see an opening to the beach. This is the beggining of Waterlemon hike. Although I didn't hike it, I did spend time at the entrance of the hike enjoying the views and water. It seems to be a low difficulty hike, and is maybe a mile to Waterlemon beach.

Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the shower and some of the construction that was going on at the resort, especially for the price we paid even in the off season. This beautiful beach offered benefits that Magen's Bay can't match…read more Don't get me wrong, Magen's Bay is a beautiful, undeveloped beach, and I've been there several times, but this beach is a good alternative. It's only a $6 taxi ride per person from the cruise docks. My east side beach taxi drop-off point had a gift shop, a nice bar, a restaurant and I saw some wave-runners. Unfortunately, the wave-runners were just towing customers. The charge for two beach-front chairs and an umbrella over the chairs was $25 with no park admittance fee. Overall, very nice!
