My wife and I found David through social media and decided to give him a try on our first Culebra vacation. At first , there was some concern with how casual David may have seemed on the phone in terms of coordination/ reservations but that all went away and made sense when we got to the island. It's all about relaxing, enjoying nature, and adventure. David was quite available via text , sometimes phone call wouldn't work because he was out on the boat but he would get back to us quickly! David is a super cool boat captain, used to live in NY and Miami , so he is fluent in English and Spanish , knows PR/Culebra as his home but also can chat it up about all things USA . Very welcoming and friendly conversationist. My wife and I ended up booking the Culebrita tour and it was the highlight of our trip. We hiked to see the old lighthouse (oldest in the Caribbean!) , snorkeled in calm crystal clear waters, then he took us around to Tortuga which is the best beach in all of Culebra for sure! There we had plenty of time to go check out the rock pools, swim, and eat delicious burgers he made for us. Lastly we went to a private spot to snorkel one more time before rolling in. He never rushed us anywhere and he even went over the timeframe a bit. We were tired in the best way by the end. A nice family of 3 joined us on the venture but we still had plenty of one on one time. For $125, it was magical. I certainly will be using David again once I return!
