In my case, I have an eating disorder, and she's been able to carefully navigate my neuroticism over my eating behavior. Specifically, she's gotten me to feel safe, relaxing the death-grip insistence I had on drinking diet sodas and taking in way too many carbs, throughout my day. I drink water, almost exclusively now, and am happy to do so! I don't feel deprived or lacking anything "special". My carb intake has dramatically reduced as well. And as she learned that I feel better, the less gluten I consume, she's been able to help me, maintain a diet mostly free of gluten. With her guidance, I've turned into a perpetual label checker on foods. (You know, the "Nutritional Facts" label on packaged foods.) I am extremely grateful, and enjoy this process, which I used to scorn. She takes her work seriously and professionally, taking notes and recording my progress, while drawing from a huge reserve of data, product knowledge and articles, helpful to my situation. She knows of articles for almost every situation! I can't recommend her strongly enough! Try her! You will be delighted! :)

My wife and I have been working with Jason for years and we truly cannot say enough good things…read moreabout him. He has everything you want in a trainer: professionalism; unparalleled expertise on all things health and wellness related; and a kind, friendly approach that will appeal to anyone. He knows just how hard to push you so you are always advancing, but not so much that you risk injuries, or become too intimidated to continue. He is open-minded, creative, and collaborative. For people who are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant, know that he helped train my wife throughout her pregnancy and afterwards. Without a doubt, he is the reason that my wife was able to follow her own birth plan-the doctor was skeptical that she would be able to deliver without a C-section given the size of our baby and because she had spent 2 days in labor before beginning to push. But Jason had helped prepare her-both her core and her stamina-and she was able to deliver our kid safely in under 2 hours. The doctor called her the 'best pusher' she's ever seen-and that is because of Jason. In other words, he is perfect. Jason is also just a funny, smart, and interesting guy to be around-we have enjoyed not just working with him, but becoming his friend. We trust him with our life, and you will, too.

It has completely changed the way I train for the better! Working with Jason has really levelled up my understanding of how to train for functional performance, strength and mobility that will serve me in the long-run - how to move better, breathwork and recovery, integrating mobility, and the mind & body connection. I'm sure anyone who has trained with Jason will know that he is always learning, experimenting, and exploring new methods in his own training, and he will often share new insights and techniques with his clients. He draws a lot from his own practice and reflection, and I think that's why he has a really good grasp of how certain movement patterns work with your body, and where the gaps are. Not to mention I don't know what I would've done without his guidance when I strained my hip through running. He prescribed several drills that not only resolved the pain very quickly, but I've now come out of it with better body mechanics and alignment. I'm really grateful to have found Jason and I would highly recommend him!

This retreat exceeded my expectations!!!…read more After falling into a serious illness that left me stuck to my bed earlier on 2018. I decided I would look into a retreat and get away as far as I could. As I was searching I found this wonderful woman Salila, whom posted a brief description about her services and different retreats. I knew right then that I should contact her. Our first scheduled call I realized that this retreat was nothing like a regular get away. I instantly felt her genuine heart to help. She is very familiar with retreats and doctors and she was able to matched my needs to the perfect doctor and retreat. Salila also helped me get in contact with Dr. Devraj via video chats on multiple occasions. With his advice I was able to ease my conditions at home since my conditions was worsening and doctors still till this day do not know what I had. In the beginning I was super excited , and at the same time didn't have any idea how I would come up with the travel expenses since I had been out of work for a while and Salila help me to figure out my money situation. She made sure she checked up on me as often as she could with helpful advice. On top of all this Salila took care my flight and booked the air tickets for me so I wouldn't go through the hassle. She also walked me through the visa process, and she scheduled someone to pick me up and drop me off at the airport. Weeks before leaving, I talked to Salila about a friend who was in New Delhi and how I wanted to visit them before leaving back home . She was able to switch out my tickets to include New Delhi and also gave me some important advice about traveling to New Delhi. If this wasn't enough , throughout my 28 days stay at Sitaram Beach Retreat she texted me to make sure all my needs and concerns were met by staff and the doctors. I cannot thank Salila enough for going out of her way and beyond to make my stay as special as it was. I really got a sense of peace and I also want to thank every one who works at Sitaram retreat for making my stay so much better. Words can only express so much which is why I'm leaving some pictures of this awesome retreat here for who ever is inspired to take some well deserved time for self care level 50! It's been 3 months since, and my health is back on track. I would do this all over again through Salila. I recommend Salila to book any flights and retreats to anyone that wants to have a beautiful experience Contact her ASAP

"...if I could just be taken care of for a couple of weeks...unplug, no one to answer to, focus on my inner self to re-balance my body and my mind......." AND enjoy an incredibly interesting part of the world ??? Salila was stellar in organizing a 2 week ayurvedic retreat and beyond. Totally safe, seamless ( stress free) and enjoyable !!!!! First, her close connection with Dr. Vignesh Devraj, the ayurvedic trained doctor at Sitaram , made it possible to have a one-on-one Skype conversation to get first-hand information about Ayurvedic treatments, what to expect, any concerns...so easy to talk to, so knowledgeable. Being trained in clinical pharmacy, everything made perfect sense to me. Next...the magical 2 weeks at Sitaram Ayurvedic Retreat began..with herbal hot oil massages every day, special herbal drinks for immunity boosts, meals to die for, specifically geared for each individual per their treatment regimen....and as I had dreamed of...nothing to do but rest, walk on the beach, do yoga, meditate.....( yes, they have internet..but, really,... UNPLUG..its worth it) After the retreat the journey was SEAMLESS. Salila arranged for transportation, drivers who were great guides with local information and found us AWESOME Homestays (per our request) , cozy, friendly, with fantastic food (instead of high cost hotels ) throughout the rest of the trip. Met incredible locals who treated us like friends, experienced genuine local life feeling completely safe and at ease. I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!!

She had injuries and was very sick. She is back to health in many ways except for bouts of extreme pain (she cries piteously) which has stabilized under Dr J's care. When I take her in every week or 2 she is mostly pain free. Every time she gets groomed it seems to be a reset. I have definitely done my duty in the rescue community with this little girl. Dr J also adjusted my foster cat after she was limping after a probable coyote attack. Puncture wounds on either side of her neck. That coyote did not know what was coming when it messed with that beautiful 12 lb cat! Dr J also does horses. Seems to be quite popular in this. She is amazing in that she is an equine chiropractor, dog chiropractor, cat chiropractor and human chiropractor! . When I come I can use the machines she has but I also get adjustments myself. Dr Jaimie is gentle with smart techniques I use for my back and extremities. I've come for 3 years. Not only do I get an adjustment but 1. I can use a roller table and a 2. back stretcher (Lelander) table my favorite. 3. Often I get an ultra sound or 4. type of cold laser or a 5. hypervolt type of massage with most every visit. I can also get on a 6. sonic type machine that jostles the lymph and loosens everything up though it made me dizzy there is often someone on it using it. 7 Heat or Cold packs every time. A couple of her massage therapists are very good. Quite a therapy regimen like they do in Eurpopean physiotherapy practices. She has a package of visits which is the better deal - sometimes I lose track and she has to put the dates on it for me. I pay cash and submit to insurance with the hope of coverage. (actually I need to submit it!) I have come to believe this and yoga will keep me going into my twilight years. Culture of the place is cheerful with classical music, doterra aroma therapy, open during pandemic (helps the immune system I am told though acupuncture has been more effective for me or at least when I did both), and best of all no pressure to buy any supplements, books or aromatherapy or anything else. It's open concept so you will interact a little or see others getting treated. There will be dogs and a rare cat - so if you're allergic be forewarned. I tell any alternative provider up front that I won't buy any supplements from them because Ive thrown so many away as I bought them when I should not have. Totally a safe place for elders/ geriatric, and middle agers. Though she attends many in the equine community because of how busy she is doing chiropractic on horses. There are quite a few teens and twenty somethings. Pediatrics a rare one I've seen. But for a middle ager like myself finding a comfortable place I can work on my body without attitude - well this is the place. I will update this review as my little ones treatments progress.

It has genuinely changed the way I understand my body, my relationship with food, and how I approach my overall well-being. I originally came to Shanti because I wanted to lose weight. And while I have lost weight, it hasn't happened as quickly or to the extent I initially hoped. But what I've come to realize is that the real value of working with Shanti isn't just about losing weight. It's about learning how to live well in the body you've been given and helping it function at its best. Shanti doesn't teach quick fixes or one-size-fits-all nutrition plans. She teaches lifelong skills tailored to your body, your tastes, your preferences, and your lifestyle. She helps you understand how your body processes what you consume and how to make choices that actually work for you. The weight loss becomes a natural result of building healthier, more sustainable habits rather than the sole measure of success. What makes Shanti truly special is how holistic her approach is. Yes, she's incredibly knowledgeable about nutrition and the physical side of health, but she also helps you connect the dots between your hormones, cycles, emotions, environment, and consumption. You begin to understand not just what you're eating or drinking, but why, and how all of these things influence one another. That awareness has changed so much for me. It's transformed my relationship with food and alcohol, and even how I think about friendships, boundaries, and the environments I put myself in. You start to recognize what supports the life you want to live and what might be getting in the way. While the coaching may start with nutrition and your body, the experience feels much more like having a life coach. Shanti helps you build a deeper understanding of yourself and gives you the tools to make meaningful, lasting changes. I'm incredibly grateful for what I've learned from her. If you're looking for someone who will help you do more than just reach a number on the scale, I can't recommend Shanti enough. You're investing in skills and self-awareness that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

Both times, I hesitated because of the cost -- I told myself I was already paying for insurance, so why pay out of pocket for something extra? That decision cost me more than money. I've been dealing with serious health issues since 2018, and I didn't see real progress in my treatment until I finally integrated Shanti into my care team. After a few years working with her, I'm in the best health I can remember in years -- and honestly, the turnaround still shocks me. Shanti has been the cornerstone connecting the dots across a complicated health picture: major weight and puffiness fluctuations, food reactions and allergies, MCAS/histamine issues, mold, migraines, headaches, and joint pain -- all while juggling multiple doctors and endless investigative work. She's been there on the days I could barely move or eat, in real pain and down, and she's helped me build a fuller care team rather than trying to be everything herself. She got me OFF the endless cycle of adding supplements and protocols, and taught me to simplify and actually listen to my body. She's patient, she remembers every detail of my history so I never feel like a number, and she adapts to what's realistic for me rather than forcing one rigid method or diet. We've also gone deeper than the physical -- into the inner work of trauma, stress, and old patterns -- and worked through how my health connects to my marriage, family, work, and travel. I'm so grateful for my work with Shanti. It has been life changing. I wouldn't be able to propel into my next steps in life without the rigor and resilience of our time together.
