Selling on behalf of a senior family member (with a POA), Cohen hosted the closing. We were the first to arrive and were showed to a confrence room by receptionist Jayme who is very gracious. Cohen provides beverages (coffee, water, tea, seltzer) and snacks (kind bars, cheez-it's, veggie straws) with a seperate menu just for kid (juice box, gold fish and coloring book w/crayons). This is an excellent service that was unexpected and appreciated.
The building is well maintained and tastefully decorated. The temperature inside is comfortable. The color scheme relaxing. They really thought about client comfort here. Whether buying or selling, closing on a home can be stressful and all these little details make the process a bit less so.
There is plenty of parking in front of and to the side of the building. Handicapped spots and ramp on the left side of the building. A large restroom is available just off reception that is handicap accessible.
Our realestate agent let us know the date/time/location of closing. She received the HUD statement a day prior to closing and reviewed the document with us to assure accuracy. Copies of ID's were taken for both parties at the beginning of the closing and the process was smooth and went well. Direct deposit for funds can be arranged for a fee or a check cut and given at closing. read more
