Needing to have it repaired, I looked for the tire shop where I had previously purchased the tires. Pulling into the shop I noticed the new RD Tires sign. Being Saturday and no one there, I thought this should be fast. Wilbur examined the tire and told me the only way to repair it was with a patch but that the tire wouldn't be safe and suggested a new tire. The tire wasn't in stock and said he would order it. I explained that I was traveling and would be back one week from Monday to have it installed. They had my name and number and said they would call when the tire came in. The Monday when I returned I called RD tires and after several minutes on hold, he came back and told me " you were suppose to be here Monday!" and we sent the tire back! I said " what did you do that for? You had my number, why didn't you call me? He responded he could get on that same day if he gave me the tire size. I figured that they didn't know what they were doing there and I certainly didn't want them touching my car. I drove to Discount tire center (see review if you like), they looked at the tire, put a plug in it, remounted the tire, stored the spare and tire tools in the period of 15 minutes. All complementary. Be aware of RD Tires, they apparently will sell you things you don't need, ill advise you, all under the organization and mismanagement. These guys will no doubt be slamming the truck on this business in the near future.

Before relatives moved, they had work done for their road trip. Whoever was hired did a shoddy job and my family had to fix the problem where they moved. The owner of C.A.R. was informed. My husband and I started to go to him and we liked his honesty. However, it became clear he was overwhelmed with the work load, especially at his age. It would take days for him to fix our vehicle, and whoever he did hire didn't do a good job. This meant he often worked alone or with only one other guy. Queue to the last 3 years and any time we tried to get work done, the business looked closed. I tried calling. No answer. Then suddenly, the shop is back open. Ok. Great. Not so great. Just as quickly, the shop kept looking closed. Every once in awhile while doing errands, I swear the shop is open. Yet, no one answers the phone. It's very bizarre. Many have reported it closed, including myself, before I noticed the short periods of time where the business appears to be open. It's just not worth it. We've been going elsewhere. We are limited on where we can go since we only have one vehicle, so walking distance is a must. Right now it's Pep Boys for oil changes, and Motion Tire II for the rest (GREAT owner).
