I recently had a very troubling encounter with a GRUMAN TOW driver that needs serious attention…read more The tow truck (plate **9462213**) was being driven *recklessly*--cutting me off at night during one of the worst heavy downpours the city has experienced in years. Noting that that I had to slam on my breaks and actively control my truck to not loose control. Visibility was already extremely poor, and this kind of driving was completely unsafe and irresponsible. To make matters worse, this happened on Ventura Rd between Doris Ave and Gonzalez Rd, a stretch of road already known for frequent accidents. The driver's behavior showed zero regard for the safety of others on the road. I truly hope the company reviews this incident and addresses the driver's conduct. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend GRUMAN TOW. Safety should be a top priority, especially for a company operating large tow trucks in hazardous weather conditions.
