We made our first stop at Rydell Chevrolet today (normally Dan Deery people) after debris in the…read moreroadway caused a flat tire and initiated an emergency stop. Bryan at the service desk said they didn't have our size in stock but could get them much later in the day. He didn't want me and my family (with two young, impatient boys) to have to wait all day so he directed me to Tires Plus across the street. The price he could give me for tires if we would have waited was as great as everywhere else but instead sent me where it was better for me and not the company. He aired up my flat tire to get me there at no cost. Bryan and his excellent customer service are the reason we will be doing all future vehicle service at Rydell!

I honestly wasn't sure anyone could help on such short notice, but these guys didn't hesitate. The result? I stepped back into my car and felt like I was picking it up brand new off the dealership floor. Immaculate. Every surface, every corner completely transformed. I couldn't believe it was the same interior. What made it even better was how accommodating and kind everyone was throughout the whole thing. They worked around my schedule without any fuss, made it happen quickly, and were genuinely a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. This is the kind of service you don't forget.

We called Tuffy, talked to Todd Williamson, and got what we thought was a reasonable quote, took the car in on the following Saturday, and they were very quick with the replacement. They also caught a few other things that needed attention and we authorized them to go ahead with those. I was very impressed with their professionalism and I highly recommend them.

I was looking around for a good deal on a tire rotation and oil change. Called last Wednesday and…read morewas able to get in the same day. Parking is a little weird and confusing, but the people are really nice and helpful. Got there at 1:30pm and was done and out the door in 38 minutes. They even added a coupon to my transaction so I didnt have to pay more that day. My total came to be 61.37 for a synethic oil change and tire rotation. I also dont agree with a previous persons reveiw about the neighborhood being iffy. This place is right near downtown Waterloo, within walking distance! Will totally being coming back here!

To start this off, my car needed two new back tires. They were getting in the "potentially illegal"…read morezone because their tread was so worn. (Fun fact! It's illegal in some areas to drive without at least 2/32 of your tread left.) Anyway, my local dealer quoted me $500+ to replace both tires including tire cost and labor cost. For two tires. Ouchies. So, I was pretty quick to run nearly-screaming the other way. After hearing dubious stories about some other tire stores as well as doing some checking into online reviews, the 5th Street Tire Co came up having good reviews. I gave them a call as I wanted a same-day appointment, and they gave me their earliest available time. It was an hour later than I could make it. I asked for an earlier time, and they said "Okay. We'll make it work." Yay! Their quoted price was $350 which was definitely a nice price break compared to what my dealer wanted. They said it would take less than an hour. When it came time for my appointment, I showed up a half-hour earlier just in case they could fit me in earlier. It took a bit of time for someone to show up at the front desk, but once they did, they were super helpful and assured me it'd be next in queue. They have a small waiting area that was showing a soap opera. It's definitely not the "highest" quality of seating or anything, but it was more comfortable than other places I've been, and it was quite and comfortable enough to read a book I'd brought. I did take a short stroll outside, but the nearby residential neighborhood struck me as slightly concerning, so I'm not sure I'd recommend taking a walk unless you're familiar with the neighborhood. Despite dropping it off a half-hour earlier, they still had my tires changed, rotated, and ready within an hour - and get this! It ended up only being $250! I pretty much cut my original quoted price in half, and they did a fantastic job. Throughout the entire process, they were extremely friendly and accommodating, and nobody once tried to upsell me anything. Nobody tried to fake me into purchasing new brakes, getting the oil changed (though that would have been warranted since it's due for a new change in 200 miles), or anything. Nothing about it felt "shady", and I never once felt anything but respected as a customer. Very impressed compared to the horror stories I always hear about tire places. Everyone was courteous, extremely happy to work around my schedule, and really friendly. I'm super, duper happy with my service here, and I will go out of my way to buy tires here again in the future.
