My go-to place for when I'm needing a pick-me-up, for sure and a local Keswick business I'm more than happy to support!

Finally, real coffee in town. Fast food coffee, much like the food is good in a pinch - however,…read morethat is like calling MCDonalds a great burger when we know it barely passes as a burger. If you are looking for a great atmosphere, service, and that perfectly roasted fresh cup of coffee, latte or cappuccino - say hello to Elpida Cafe and Roastery. A creative menu of waffles, hot dogs (check out the Jerk Chicken Hot Dog), panini's, tuna melt, croissants and bagels will satisfy your cravings. However, let's be honest. We are here for the coffee! Elpida only sources organic fair trade coffee beans which they roast in house. Is there any better way to start brewing that perfect cappuccino, latte, or cappuccino. Looking for teas? They have your classic from London Fog, loose leaf and more. I can't wait to slowly work through their menu. The true question - how well do they pour a flat white? Today's stop, a smorgasbord of sandwiches, hot dogs and waffles, and refreshing frappes on this super hot day. Located in a fresh newly renovated location, this fledgling coffee house is just getting started - it will be very exciting to see how they grow.

This is a small patisserie and bistro in a resort. It is well-decorated, like a cafe in Paris,…read moreincluding outdoor seating. They sell French bakery items, subs, and coffees. They also serve different types of Afternoon Tea. They also sell breads like Sour Dough ($12.00) and French Baguette ($4.50) for takeout. We ordered the following: 1. Nutella Croissant ($6.95). 2. Flat White (small $4.95). They charge the normal 13% HST, but there is an extra 3% resort fee! Both the croissant and coffee were good. The service was good. Some people make reservations for their favourite tables. They certainly make sure every is clean and chairs aligned. Four of us were sitting around a very small round table, so I put my camera case and bag on top of a neighbouring table (they were only 20% full). My wife told me they were staring at me. After I took it off and put them on the floor under my seat, they cleaned the table; must clean off any dirt I might have on my stuff! They have been open for 3 years. They allow photos using a phone but not a DSLR. They said they would charge $250 for me to take photos. One staff member recommended I speak to the owner. The owner was concerned that I take photos of his prices: this makes not sense since I can also do it with my phone! He finally allowed me to take photos of just the food, and he asked the staff to take it out for me onto a table! I was thankful! There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is free WiFi. The patisserie is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom. There is free parking in the resort. There are two high chairs for little children. Review 2024-203

Full Tea for 2 ($65) includes: Tea, savory mini sandwiches, assorted sweets, whipped cream, assorted fruits. ** They didn't have mini sandwiches, but we got to choose a hot pressed sandwich from the bakery display, and they sliced it for us ^^ I'd also recommend: * Lychee Green Tea (teapot) * Roast Beef Mushroom Melt * Brie, Arugula, Prosciutto Be sure to make a reservation via phone for afternoon tea experience. Good for small groups of 2-3 people :) Limited indoor seating, outdoor patio also available. I personally think the afternoon tea experience is still very new, still need to work out some kinks. Overall, food was delicious, and my family had a lovely time together :)
