Been driving past this location for awhile and finally stopped in. Conveniently located on NC-73, this is in a strip mall not too far from several eateries and NC-16. It has a drive thru - also convenient. There's plenty of parking. I was impressed by the size and decor. Plenty of seating, really nice spot to come and hand out or work. I tend to order the specials from here and today I chose the Sweetheart, an iced espresso drink. It was good. Espresso was still a little too warm so it melted my ice a little quicker than normal but it was still tasty. read more

My sister and i visited Coffee Republic while staying nearby over the summer, after finding ourselves both in need of a pick-me-up. We each ordered lattes - a tea version for her and an espresso version for me and found comfy seating tucked in a corner to chat and catch-up like sisters do. The drinks were the right temperature and hit the spot. Next time I would ask more questions of the baristas about the craft latte flavors and other customer favorites worthy of a try. Prices were...normal for a local, small coffee shop. During our stay and sip, we commented to one another on the cute decor and unique seating set-ups, including lots of high-top options with a variety of table tops and counters spread throughout the narrow seating area. Also spotted high chairs available, making this a nice spot for parent friends meet-ups, IMHO. read more

The coffee and tea were watery. Only one barista on Monday morning. It was kind of expensive for the sizes as well. I couldn't even finish my coffee it was so bad. I will not be back The only plus was the coffee shop was super cute inside! read more

I've tried this location several times and have yet to be impressed. The pastries are overpriced as well as the drinks. The lattes are not delicious and I've tried so many times because it's the only convenient drive thru coffee place nearby. The customer service is always great, but that's the only great thing I've experienced. They never have had a chocolate muffin anytime I've asked but it's still always on the menu. read more

I wanted to give it a zero star. If you are from out of state GO TO STARBUCKS. Unfortunately I will never be here again. I orders 2 energy buzzers that is just flavored syrup with Fiji water. We asked for sparking in one of them but didn't get it how I wanted. Ordered some food on the side that was absolutely tasteless. It was rock hard. I would also like to mention I waited about 15 minutes while the barista went to do his own thing the other barista look very lost. They handed out another drink before mine while mine was siting on the counter for 5 minutes. Our sandwiches were right there as well. Unfortunately I paid a heavy price for garbage. read more

I love the vibe here! The staff is very welcoming and the back lounge area is cozy & comfortable. The coffee is great too! Lindsey and Zac are especially helpful and kind. This is a quaint coffee shop in a small strip mall in Denver. They also have a drive-through for those who don't want to leave their vehicle. I visited this coffee shop once. I wanted something hot to drink on a cold winter night. I am trying to remember what I ordered (type of tea); the staff member helped me with the selection. He told me it included vanilla syrup. That got my attention. A hot drink with vanilla syrup! Yum! After leaving the shop, I sadly realized my drink had no vanilla syrup. I am not much of a coffee drinker and typically drink team only in the morning. It will be a while before I return. read more

I have been regularly going here for the past couple years and it has definitely gone downhill. while the staff is friendly, twice now my chai has only been about half full. I tried to contact the company and nobody responded. Today I asked if I could have a half cup of coffee to top mine off and they charged me $4. I think I am done visiting there. read more

I've tried this place twice and both times were a disappointment. For one thing, the staff was not friendly either time. No greeting, not helpful with order placement, etc. the coffees are expensive and I expected a great tasting coffee for the price. It wasn't. Today we went in again and once again, the staff did not acknowledge us. There were no muffins or other food displayed except three danishes so I asked if they had muffins or anything else. She just sighed like I was a huge annoyance to her day and answered in the negative. And that was it, she was done talking to us. We walked out without ordering anything. First time here. Got a cardamom latte. It was delicious. The interior is very nice. I was greet by a very sweet young lady with memorable freckles. This place is such a cool vibe. Plenty of sitting indoors and outdoors and nice calming music playing. Free WiFi. Private parking lot and drive thru service. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Close to walmart also. While vacationing in the Charlotte area for the first time, we stumbled across this coffee shop! This coffee place is a must see! The coffee is good & the atmosphere is amazing! The place was so decorative! Great selection of coffees, lattes, and pastries. They even have a "pup cup" treat for customers that bring their animals friends! Also, I noticed they have a drive thru! We were passing through on a trip to Denver for the afternoon and we stopped for our little one to get an ice cream from the shop next door. I was tired so I was thinking I would get an iced coffee. The vibe was cool and kind of funky. I dig it but it was a bit expensive. $7 for a large cold brew is just a bit pricey for a coffee place. I would have to look at the menu next time to see if the other drinks are a bit more reasonable. read more

Nice addition to the coffee scene in Denver! This is a great little spot right off of Highway 73 in Denver. Actually lots of space in the interior. Very sunny and warm in there. All of the tables are high top with skinny stools. They aren't that comfortable, but that's the only negative I found. If you have a chance, get one of the muffins, they are delicious and have a great crumb to them. Dogs are allowed on the porch! Super cute, fun place to work or hang with friends. read more

Came here for coffee. There was no one else in the store and appeared to be only one employee. She was talking non stop to customer at the drive through who already had her order completed. We waited and waited while server kept talking. At one point she even made eye contact with me, turned back to talking and ignored us again. The coffee here is mediocre and while the staff is often not the friendliest, this was the worst experience so far. read more

I ordered a peach smoothie and it had big chunks of ice in it. it was just frozen peaches, ice and water slightly blended. I really think their smoothie recipes need to be revamped normally smoothies have yogurt and milk blended in it too. read more

Recently visited this shop in the area to try and left disappointed. The coffee was okay nothing super great. The larger issue was the food they served. We've been loyal to MainStreet Denver through its opening, change in hours, staffing issues etc that local businesses have suffered through. And just a note that the drive through intercom has been broken for months, sometimes with a small sign but usually you just figure it out. The people and drinks have always made the trip worthwhile for us. Today (July 21) I pulled up to the window for a mobile order and was addressed by a clearly unhappy employee. Apparently, the drive through intercom has been fixed. I was pleasantly surprised to hear and I suggested a sign. I was informed, rudely, it had been fixed for several weeks and she ROLLED HER EYES AT ME. She also made a point to tell me I needed to use it for mobile orders as well (of course I would) and seemed to consider not giving me my order although there was no one in the line, and I let her know I did not know the intercom was operational. Life is too short to deal with someone who clearly feels like it's ok to take out frustration and unkindness on a repeat customer. Lost 3 customers from this one employee. Slow SLOOOOOOOW service. Barely get a greeting and never a thank you and the price you pay for the "service" is insane. I'm all for getting what you pay but if your style is wait, wait, and wait some more and barely be acknowledged this is your place.
